August Sept 2019 I may be in a state of flux before finally getting to the 3.5 acres When I do get there will be in a 2bed caravan while working on the site Until then am in Perth but people may be welcome Perth - just ask or see my CS profile

I am looking for some light help cleaning organising outside help. planting etc and even some admin or web research work if it suits

I have no fixed views on how long you can come for 2 or 3 days or longer. Even had CS who came to my last place for 2 days and stayed 2 months

Might suit someone looking fr a central but rural setting to explore Glasgow Edinburghgh and Scotland and or someone wanting perhaps to study in peace, write up a thesis or get really in... more inside

Dear HelpX volunteers,

Hope you like to travel to the Far North of Scotland, there were the NC500 is. The famous route along the West/North and East Coast in the very North of Scotland.

Your help is much needed.
Vacancies from end of August, who can help out?

The North Coast of Scotland is a brilliant place to do hill walking, surfing, bird watching, painting and photography.

HelpX volunteers mostly stay for a couple of weeks or even longer.

Basics tasks for the volunteers:
Changing beds, cleaning the BnB rooms, do the laundry and help serving breakfast.

In case the BnB is not to busy, there are always other jobs to do, just tell us your talents/skills and we will see if it fits in.

We will do our best to give you a great time to explore this remote corner of the world.

See our website for more information about our BnB and the North Coast of Scotland.

Look forward to hear from you.

Detta

2 Volunteers required on the North West Coast of Scotland.

We have a small family chalet park near Ullapool on the North coast 500 route 3 miles south of Ullapool. We require 3 hours help per day to assist with a number of projects which the weather dictates. You will have your own room and shared bathroom. Would suit 2 friends who enjoy the outdoors and can stay for 2 weeks. You will have plenty time to go off and explore the area.

Must be fit and healthy as some outdoor work requires lifting and carrying. On wet days indoor work like cleaning and ironing will be required.

We are still keen to find helpers for October/November to help with some tough woodland work, including clearing ivy from a big wall.
There are opportunities to help with many voluntary projects in the area including
the community storehouse. A fantastic way to meet local people.

Our big old house with large garden is tucked behind the main street with frequent buses to Edinburgh.

We look for enthusiasm. Experience of gardening, building, housework and decorating is a bonus but not vital. If you are interested in local culture and history and are happy to work unsupervised, you'll be needed!

We are about an hour from Edinburgh by frequent bus. Accommodation for 1 or for 2 sharing a room for 2 - 4 weeks. We provide vegetarian meals.

Jane has a pottery and often needs assistance lifting heavy clay sacks, recycling clay and moving kiln shelves.

There is a community cinema to help with every Sunday night from September to June and a community meal every week.
