Currently only taking volunteers who are able to buy and prepare their own food. Working hours will be adjusted to allow for this. Must also be prepared to live separately in a cabin with wood burning stove, gas cooker, double bed and sofa. The host can work with volunteers outside.

This is a stone farm house and outbuildings situated with five acres of sheltered and peaceful land in a valley in the hills. Surrounded by mature trees and bordering a mountain stream, we have a forest garden, vegetable beds, polytunnel, ponds, coppices, meadows and woodland. Sheep graze part of the land whilst some meadow is left to encourage wildflowers. Wildlife is a priority and permaculture informs the management of land and lifestyle here. The owner is home-based and usually available to work alongside volunteers.
Guests and volunteers are accommodated in a cabin or cottage or may camp. People sometimes come here for retreat, enjoy the tranquility, breathe exceptionally clear air and find... more inside

One or two mature people welcome to spend some time in South West Wales. We have an old building in the garden that requires some work, mixed with gardening, cleaning, dog walking, and general help, nothing on the list is compulsory, so if you don't like gardening don't let that put you off coming to visit this wonderful part of the country. Any skills, and jack-of-all-trades especially welcome. Double room available for 1 or 2 persons, central heating, TV, Wi-Fi, Home cooked food, and in a great position to explore the beautiful location. We are a coastal walk from Strumble Head, and we have seals, and the occasional dolphin in the area. Pickup and drop-off from the local station or ferry port. 4 hours a day, plenty of free time, either on your own or with us. Non-smokers only.

We are a working farm and holiday park above Monkstone beach and within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. There is a small young team here full time.

We are looking for one or two people to help on the farm and park. You will be required to do a variety of jobs including working with the team, helping with farm work especially lambing, helping with feeding animals, gardening, cleaning and D.I.Y. Overall you need to be enthusiastic, motivated and use your initiative. We will provide everything so you will be happy and can enjoy your time here. Its a great place!!!

Visiting Pembrokeshire and in particular staying here would suit people who enjoy the outdoors, nature, hiking, water sports etc. There is so much to do in the surrounding area.

I live on a 27 acre smallholding in south west Wales - have been here since January 2019. The farm was neglected for almost 40 years so there is a huge amount of infrastructure work to do. My intentions are to become as self sustaining as possible, producing my own milk, cheese, eggs, meat, vegetables..... The work I am currently focusing on is fencing, gates, re-establishing the polytunnel, tree cutting (and, later, re-planting) for timber, firewood and woodchip (for animal bedding). The barn needs a new roof, build new barns to accommodate animals in winter and store hay/feeds and restore a derelict cottage.... the list goes on and on!

There are a couple of caravans as accommodation for one or two people. A living/bedroom and a kitchen/dining/bathroom. Both have heating.

So, the main priorities are:
- processing trees into boards, firewood, kindling and bedding
- Fencing fields and paddocks
- Strimming rushes, brambles etc
- Build a barn
- Clear de... more inside

Generally we are looking for help with weeding, planting, and packing vegetables and eggs. we need someone who is able to do physical work.

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and plenty of energy.

On the farm we have vegetables, apple trees and salad crops, Work will be in the field or the polytunnels, sewing seeds as well as sorting eggs. We have chickens, sheep and cats
We use no-dig, forest gardening and permaculture techniques. We are firmly rooted in the organic principles and wish to contribute towards food security for the local community.

Our place consists of 17 acres of south facing pasture and woodland.
The location is rural, but only two miles from the small town of Newcastle Emlyn, and 8 miles from the sea.
There are castles and beaches to visit, as well as footpaths to go walking by woods and rivers.
From Newcastle Emlyn there are regular buses to the bigger towns of Cardigan and Carmarthen. Pembrokeshire coast national park is t... more inside
