As we approach our busy winter FOOD FESTIVAL season, we are looking for an individual or couple to come and stay with us and help our family with our business. We have 3 letting rooms, a pop up restaurant and an artisan food business. If anyone is good at decorating (painting) we would love to hear from you, although please don't rule yourself out if you aren't. We are 5 miles from the A55 Expressway that can get you into Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey within an hour. Wide sandy beaches are 10 miles away and the hills around here are great for cycling and walking. My name is Teresa and I own and run Treseissyllt Farm on the Pembrokeshire coast.
I grew up in Wales and after university, lived and worked in London for a number of years. During that time I travelled extensively to many parts of the world.
I returned to Wales to renovate the farm and house twelve years ago.

THE AREA
The farm is situated on the coast in the amazing PEMBROKESHIRE NATIONAL PARK between Fishguard and the small city of St. Davids with its ancient cathedral.
There is direct access to the beach, cliffs and the world-famous coastal path.

There are lots of local activities which include hiking, swimming, surfing, kayaking, music, photography, castles and arts and crafts to name but a few.

THE FARM
Treseissyllt is a small (20 hectares/50 acres) traditional farm with a flock of Welsh pedigree sheep, 3 horses and a foal.

CAMPSITE.
We have a "nearly wild" campsite in a large field with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside and the ocean. ... more inside

One or two mature people welcome to spend some time in South West Wales. We have an old building in the garden that requires some work, mixed with gardening, cleaning, dog walking, and general help, nothing on the list is compulsory, so if you don't like gardening don't let that put you off coming to visit this wonderful part of the country. Any skills, and jack-of-all-trades especially welcome, but as long as you are willing helpers come along and enjoy. Double room available for 1 or 2 persons, central heating, TV, Wi-Fi, Home cooked food, Garden Barbecues, and in a great position to explore the beautiful location. We are a coastal walk from Strumble Head, and we have seals, and the occasional dolphin in the area. Pickup and drop-off from the local station or ferry port. 4 hours a day, plenty of free time, either on your own or with us. Non-smokers only.

We live in a rural area on the edge of Snowdonia and are surrounded by woodland, forestry land and farmland. We have a paddock, woodland and large garden area. Also here are 4 alpacas, a friendly dog and 5 hens.
We are looking for someone to help with a range of projects - from fencing and building paths and walls, through to clearing and gardening, painting, etc.
We are both former English language teachers and have travelled widely, so we think we can offer a good cultural experience. We are happy to offer lifts within reason, and you would be welcome to come out with us when we go. We have a comfortable double room to offer, as well as food and drink, in return for 4 hours work each day.

Right now, a week or 10 days beginning July 20th would be especially helpful! There is the option to stay longer if that suits everyone.

Welcome to wales. Stay in a farmhouse surrounded by nature, and help to look after and walk Sled dogs and Sheep dogs.
You can also learn about dog training, handling and grooming, if you want too.

This is a peaceful and secluded farm in the Welsh countryside ( with WiFi ), a quiet place to get away from it all, maybe do some meditation and get in touch with nature.
Dog Training, Dog Handler training, Rehabilitating aggressive dogs, and Sheepdog training are some of the things that happen here.

The work is cleaning kennels, refreshing water bowls, walking the dogs 2 times a day. First in the morning, and again in the afternoon, and then letting the dogs out for a wee last thing each night just before bedtime. A little help around the farm and in the house if needed.

4 hours of work/walking dogs a day maximum - 2 hours in the morning, and 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon and 1/2 hour last thing to put the dogs to bed for the night.
In exchange for Brunch and evening meal, m... more inside

This is an inspiring eco venue and self catering holiday cottages in the beauty of the Cambrian Mountains just below Snowdonia & not far from the coast of Mid Wales. A hideaway that's also accessible.

We have a farmhouse and four barns. One barn is converted into a stunning meeting/ workshop space & private cinema; two stone barns are now beautiful cottages filled with light, beams, high ceilings and natural materials - including oak floors and furniture, exposed stone, traditional lime plaster etc.

Our Summerhouse Cabin is a precious quiet space, which I often live when the Farmhouse is welcoming guests. When guests are not in the Farmhouse, I spend time there too - including in my study.

The magical land includes two pretty meadows and a dingle, with deep cut streams, tall oak trees and a pond. We have a tipi and stone circle with fire pit, an organic veggie garden, and plenty of spaces to sit for personal quiet time or conversation.

We always need help on the land an... more inside

We run a wood workshop that is part of the Corris Craft Centre in Snowdonia National Park, Wales. We make furniture, gifts, and artwork out of reclaimed and recycled materials. We use "waste products" that can be turned into beautiful pieces of art. Our workshop is connected to a small shop that sells our pieces. We run workshops teaching people how to make their own creations out of recycled wood. No forests are harmed in the making of our products, and we are proud of the unique forms and shapes that recycled wood can create.

As a volunteer we need your help with creating artwork and gifts for the shop, scavenging and collecting materials (finding driftwood from the beach) or collecting fence posts from the local surroundings. You will be taught the techniques we use to clean, shape, and construct our pieces. We also want to inspire people who come into our shop to create for themselves beautiful art from the resources which are all around us in our daily lives.
