My name is Nicholas Egan and I run the family sheep farm we are located 15 minutes drive from Wexford Town.

I live on the family farm with my wife and our 3 young children, age 2, 3 and 4.
Our farm has sheep only with the lambing of 450+ ewes due to begin around March 1st 2020. Lambing on the farm normally lasts between 5-6 weeks.Helpers are welcome anytime of the year. January and February the sheep will be indoors so they will have to be cared for. April, May and June the young Lambs will need to be cared for.

Helpers can be involved with care of the sheep or can help out with other jobs around the farm or the house such as entertaining/looking after children, helping out in the house with cooking dinners etc. It really will depend on what you, the helper, want to get out of the experience as to the work you wish to/ will do.

My wife takes a large chunk of unpaid leave from her own job around lambing season and generally looks after the household duties s... more inside

HAVE A SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE MAINTAINING A FOREST, STARTING A GARDEN AND CREATING A DANCE SPACE IN TIPPERARY, IRELAND

Hello from Tipperary in the heart of Ireland.

You are very welcome to my world.

Yes, you will be happy to know that I am a human being, but first and foremost i am a Spirit Being on earth and everything i do is aligned with the Divine Energy that I Am. I share my Light principally as a singer songwriter and sound healer. My intention in living this life, is to assist in the manifestation of Heaven on Earth. It is a mission i share with an ever increasing band of people all around the world, there are billions of us, some of us simply just donít know it yet. This mission has inspired me recently to leave my family home and a very comfortable life and live in my forest, off grid, on my own, me and the trees, following the promptings of my heart.

As more and more volunteers come to my forest, it is clear that primarily I offer a spiritual experience in whi... more inside

I run a small part-time thoroughbred breeding concern in Co. Monaghan. I currently have 3 mares and 1 2year-old.

The day starts off with an early morning feed and some training with the 2 year-old which takes about 45 minutes. The horses are then turned out for the day and the next horse job is a feed in the middle of the day followed by another at 9pm before the horses are turned out again for the night. Ocassionally if a horse is sick or has an injury it may be confined to it's stable so some mucking-out is required. From November to March the horses are stabled at night so mucking-out duties are required during this period.

I also have a few sheep and 2 cats.

If you are willing to help you will need to be very experienced around horses as the horses are racehorses and they can be unpredictable and are very powerful. In return the horses give you lots of pleasure. I also travel the horses to Stud farms and Racecourses during the year so if you're happy to come along you w... more inside

Update: no helpers needed until springtime 2021!Thank you!

County Donegal: We are two German sisters (and a cat!) who run a small holiday house business in a very beautiful area of County Donegal.

Our property is huge and requires a lot of maintenance, therefore we are looking for somebody to help us with a variety of tasks, mostly garden work (weeding, planting, clearing, pruning trees and shrubs, grass cutting, digging, filling raised beds to make them ready for planting), paint jobs (small outhouse, garden furniture, decking, maybe inside the house if the weather is bad), small repair jobs all around the house.
Please note that part of the work can be physically demanding (for example moving stones) and includes handling of heavy machinery like a strong motor mower and a motor brush-cutter/strimmer on uneven and hilly and/or wet ground. Therefore a certain amount of physical strength is needed, although we used to do it ourselves, so women can do it as well as men.
