My name is Selma and am located in Southern Norway, just a few minutes driving from the town of Farsund(2Kms away), where you can find shops, a library, some pubs and more.
The area is known for its fjords(where you can also go fishing) and mountains(for mushrooms picking), the ocean is just a short walk away.

This is a link to the area : https://www.visitnorway.no/reisemal/sorlandet/farsund-lista/

I own a small farm, surrounded by forest and natural pastures for animals; at the farm there are horses, goats, poultry and we grow kitchen-garden style herbs, berries and vegetables.
We also have a friendly dog named Sally.
At the bottom floor of the house there are 2 bedrooms which i rent out for short stays.

The work here is mainly farm related such as feeding animals, muck stables, put up fences, picking eggs, weeding, get the soil ready for seeding and planting, get some firewood ready for the winter months, tidying up outside; i would also need some help with getting th... more inside

Various work for preferably longer stays.

Planning for 2020 - get in touch.

The campsite has a beautiful location by the Oslo fjord, approximately 45 minutes drive from Oslo. The site is owned by the Norwegian YMCA-YWCA.
I´ts about 13 acres large and has 500 meters shoreline, lots of fruit trees and other vegetation and a soccer field. It was originally a residence for a wealthy businessman from Oslo in 1901 and was founded as a campsite in 1941/42.

The work varies with the seasons and will consist of everything from kitchen work, gardening, painting indoors and outdoors, carpentry, tidying, organizing, cleaning, caring for animals with food and water and generally maintenance.

We are always looking for a carpenter that can do the job we don't know how to. There are lots of different buildings that need different care.

The work is partly independent (or with other helpers) off season and you make your own day. We usually make a list of work to be done, and you are so... more inside

Hi, at the moment I am looking for volunteer helpers (not ones who expect pay) from January. In exchange for your help you will be given a free place to stay and food while you are here.

My home is a log cabin in the woods on an island in the middle of Norway´s largest lake. It is very quiet here so this is not the place for people looking for lots of fun. But if you are looking to escape the city, and you respect nature and enjoy the quiet around you, this is the place for you. We are 45 minutes from all the larger cities around the lake, including Lillehammer which was the home of the 1994 Winter Olympics. 1.5 hours from the airport Gardemoen and 2 hours from Oslo.

You will have a lot of time for yourself, so you must be ok with that. The work will vary through the year, from gardening in the summer, to snow shoveling in the winter. All year long I have animals who need care. Chickens (8) and 2 dogs (one very big dog and one small dog) and 5 cats. Some light housekeeping i... more inside

We have a 17ha organic deer farm with commanding views of the fjord and an organic B&B.

We are Biologist/Zoologists. Jens is Danish and Nan English. We have 2 bi-lingual children (7+12yrs).

On the farm, we have red deer, sheep, horses and cats. There are great views of the fjord from all over our land; with it's rolling hills, grazing, woodland, ponds and streams. Three ha are situated on an island in the fjord (bird reserve).
We also have a fruit orchard and kitchen garden. As we try to use as much of our own produce as possible, we are always jamming and juicing etc.

The 4 sides of our charming thatched farm (from 1777) form a sheltered courtyard oasis in which our guests love to relax. Our family home forms one side of the square; the B&B apartments - another and the 2 remaining sides are 2 barns awaiting development. We have many project ideas for the farm.

The B&B consists of 2 self catering apartments, which can sleep 4/6 persons respectively. We have renova... more inside

Dear friends,

You are welcome to Finland to the small hostel located in the forest.
We organise programme for children, language and thematic camps for which we would like to invite native and non-native English and Finnish speakers.
The camps we organise are directed mainly on children from Russia.

Our next camps

23 March - 29 March 2020 - Prof Academy (career guidance end educational system in Finland)

The main task for helpers is English teaching. We have two hours of English a day. Camp lessons is not the same as school ones. It is holiday, so we try to make life in camp active, positive and interesting. This also applies to language studies. Games, games and again games.

We are a family of four; Janet, my husband Toni and our children Hugo (3) and Doris (1). Also we do have a small dog.
We live on a countryside in Northern Ostrobothnia. The village we live in is quite small and surrounded by nature. There are lots of fields, forest and beautiful beaches.

I'm a cook, so I really enjoy cooking and baking on my spare time too. My husband likes to do different sports and go hunting on his spare time.
Usually we just want to spend time as a family, watch movies, go outdoor and go to sauna, relax.
We also have a cottage in Kuusamo, where we often spend holidays.

We would hope you to do light housework on weekdays while we work. Like doing dishes, laundry, vacuuming (not everyday)..
Also it would be nice if you would walk the dog, and watch after the kids every now and then so I could do grocery shopping/shower etc.

We would like you to be social, have a sense of humor, and obviously get along with the kids and dog. :)
We could offer you ... more inside

Where to start? We are a family in the western part of Iceland, at the gates of the Westfjords, Beggi runs the sheep farm . We have 400 sheep and all possible trouble that can be connected to sheep: fixing fences in the summer, gathering sheep in the autumn, feed them and shear them in the winter and then lambing season in spring.
We are also renovating three houses that we own in the area. We are usually hosting 2-8 people at the same time and our current record is having people from 5 continents at the same time!

It's been over 3 years since we hosted our first volunteers. Since then we have hosted over 200 people and so many of them have visited us again and helped us. We have absolutely no idea what we're doing right. We require people to work hard, but we take long coffee breaks that are filled with endless stories and jokes. We have met people from all over the world that we know will be our friends for a lifetime and we will never be able to thank them enough for all thei... more inside
