Hey you! I am a single mother of a lovely son Milo, born in Jan 2018. We live in a 3 room flat in Helsinki, Mellunmäki. Helsinki is a lively city, with lots to offer. I haven't had a helpxr yet, who wouldn't have fallen for Helsinki.

We are looking for someone to look after Milo every now n then (usually a few hours at a time), do some light house work and join us on our adventures. We are outgoing and are looking for someone, who would like to see how life in Finland is and teach us a bit about your culture too. I strongly believe the best part about being a host is not to only show my own culture, but to learn about yours too. Having such a young kid, I can't really travel all that much myself, so I love the fact, that I can still bring culture to my life!

We are looking for an outgoing girl. Preferably non smoking. For a few hours of light work you get a comfy bed to sleep in, wifi at home and quite simple meals (I am not the greatest cook, but sometimes I like to surpri... more inside

We run an internship program for people interested in working with huskies in a semi-professional capacity. In other words, we don`t just take people as volunteers and expect them to poop. Rather, we have a systematic training system in place which is an extension of the system in place for paying clients who want to participate in the husky lifestyle for short periods of time.

Interns learn about and participate in the daily and weekly tasks that need to be completed on the farm. The first week is a bit of a baptism of fire guided by a daily mentor in which there is complete immersion into every aspect of life here.

The degree to which people can participate in the range of roles available on the farm depends on the length of their stay, their expertise coming in, and the level of interest in the various roles.

Duties change with the seasons from one-on-one dog training and construction / maintenance work in the summer, to dog-conditioning and safari preparation work in... more inside

This is a place for the person that loves animals and hard work outdoors. Not for people that are afraid to get dirty or cold. You will be close to a mighty and unpredictable nature. Sea, wind and weather are there plenty of. In the summer midnight sun, in the winter stars and northern light. You will take part in the work and life through the year. No day is the same. The work is rather hard and manual. We provide your own room in a house together with other wwoofers, or at least your own bed in the most buzzy season. In the common house we have lunch together monday- friday, and TV and internet. The rest of the meals you cook yourself. The food comes mostly from the farm, the sea and the nature around. The working hours are 7 hours a day monday-friday. The animals also need food and care in the week-ends, so you are supposed to work every secund or third week-end and have some other day of instead. In special occasions you can be asked to work longer days. In the winter we take ca... more inside

We, Tessan and Peter, have a small apiary that we run with organic methods and a summertime café that serve cookies, cakes and simple food, all mainly containing organic or locally produced ingredients. We have a very small forest, a garden that was once wellknown for its herbs, a workshop and sometimes we host courses or events for the local community as well.

More than ten years ago I (Tessan) was travelling as a helper myself, great experience staying with different people and doing everything from picking stones in Australia's outback to cleaning rooms in a NZ lodge. Now when I finally have a place of my own I want to contribute the worldwide community by hosting as well.

Accomodation: We have a small guest-cottage with a double bed that helpers can stay in. It has electricity but no water so toilet and shower can be used in the house. This is a cat-free area so those of you who get itchy eyes from our feline friends are also welcome to stay. In wintertime we have a spare... more inside

I just moved from Copenhagen to a small house in the south of Fyn.

Inside, most of the need to jobs are done. But outside there is still a lot to do

- Establish no dig beds
- Make compost
- Build Chicken coop
- Replace ornamental plants with eatable plants
- Propagate plants
- Collect seaweed on the beach for the garden
- Replace old pavement
- Organize Wood Workshop

In the kitchen:
Prepare vegetarian meals
Bake bread
Make jams, chutneys, ketchups and relishes.
Gather wild berries and nuts in

Now two hours away from Copenhagen. But I can pick you up in Svendborg. The cheapest and fastes way to get here is to get a ride through the facebook page "samkørsel svendborg - kbh" or through the homepage "Gomore".

I offer simple meals and accommodation for 5 hours work/day including taking part in everday cores like help cooking, cleaning etc. I have been vegetarian for almost 20 years, but have recently started to eat some meat, but the meals will... more inside

The farm is 5 km from the nearest store in Mestervik and 20km from the community center Storsteinnes. We bought Heim gård 11 years ago and have been reorganising it to suit us and our way of living. Such as cleaning undergrowth on the pastures so that our animals can graze, remodelling the barn that was used for cows into a stable, building a sauna etc. We also have a boat we use for fishing. Work here will involve handling the horses, feeding chickens and cleaning the roost, gardening, some cooking, picking berries, fencing, making hay, chopping firewood, building/restoring barn and every other little thing that needs to be done on a farm.
Some project for this year are fencing different area for the horses and other animals we will have during summer season. Paint has to be refreshed on some of the buildings :) On our wish lis... more inside

A hikers paradise and perfect biking conditions close to the most famous destinations in the Norwegian mountains, a small hostel/ gité situated in the middle of a rich historical area. Originally a cabin at a summer mountain pasture that started to cater for tourists and mountain hikers in the 1860's, Today it is a modern hostel that has kept it's roots in simple accommodation, good food, and focus on traditional hospitality. We're now making efforts to reconnect even more to our roots and local specialties by increasing the use of local, organic food. We are also increasing themed stays related to the area and the disappearing skills and knowledge of the high mountains. These spanning from cultural hikes to nearby archaeological sites, fishing on the lake, summer pasture courses, plant dying, and foraging, to mention some. We have close cooperation with activity providers in the area, and are hosting horses and their riders every week.

Despite being very proud of our own little... more inside
