***Gardening + clearing up the WoodBarn + a bit of everything in normal life***

We are a typical German family. Mum is at home and tries to manage the whole family life. Dad leaves home for work every day, except weekends. The boys are visiting the Primary School now. Early birds are welcome! ;)

You should like to be part of a family and feel comfortable with company. Cooking, cleaning and gardening do not sound strange to you, because you know how to do these things backe in your own hime. You are fine with getting your hands dirty. Nosy kids are no problem, becaus you like them and be able to handle by babysitting, playing soccer in the garden or a board game with the kids.
You have no problem with handycapped people at all. You are open to learn new things and get in touch with a different culture.
You agree to 3-4h of help per day (Mo-Fr). Weekend is free. Time to relax and spend some time with the Faulhammer family or to visit places of interesst.

We have always ... more inside

SELF DESCRIPTION:

We are a family of 5, parents with three older children. We work as freelancers in the social and consulting sector. Our home is in a small, nice and quiet village only 23km away from Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony with 500.000 inhabitants. Our place is very rural and surrounded by fields, forests and some lakes. There are various opportunities for walking, cycling, running or even swimming. It takes 15 min by bike or 5 min by bus to the small city of Großburgwedel where you find a variety of shops and everything for your daily needs.By train you can reach that city in approximately 2 hours from Berlin or Hamburg.

We love making music, reading books and doing different kinds of sports. During garden season we enjoy gardening. Often we eat vegetarian and sometimes vegan food, but we are not restrictive. We also bake our own bread, prepare home made yoghurt and in main season the fruits of our garden. In living that way we try to become more aware ... more inside

We are a guesthouse (picture 1) - especially for handicapped people - cognitive and physically (pic 6). This house has got all in all 17 beds in 10 rooms (pic 2).
We (pic 4) are living in Trebel, close to the Nemitzer Heathland (pic3). Trebel is a village of 300 citizens. So you got the opportunity to experience the countryside in between Hamburg, Hannover and Berlin.
We are looking for people (couples are also welcome), who like gardening and helping us with little projects. (Minimum time of stay 21 days) Perhaps help in the kitchen will be needed. To work in the service and with our guests it is necessary to speak at least a little German, not in the garden and kitchen. We hosts speak English.

We are two families with three children, living on a small farm in South Germany (Dürnau, Baden Württemberg).

Our goal is to get a somewhat (self-) sustainable small farm running here, but we are really at the beginning since we just bought that farm in spring 2018. There are a lot of things we still need to figure out what to do with on that farm. For example we'd like to re-activate some horse machines instead of using that old tractor we bought together with the building. But there is a lot of work to be done till we may think about things like that.

Our life on the Farm is focused on Family, Children and work that can be done together. We spend a lot of time with our kids, doing things with them (we also work with them and they are always welcome to help us to do things), practicing ATTACHMENT PARENTING. What sometimes seems like we're spoiling them by always doing what they want - but there is a lot of theory in the background and we read a lot of books about that parenti... more inside

Hey there,

we have a 80 hectares farm with 50 cows, 30 cattle and about 10 calves. We also have three cats and a dog and I'm planning to by about 5 chicken this summer. We're not a organic farm yet but we will be soon and are about to start the transition process. So de facto you will see the same habits and have the same kind of work. Right now my parents are still the owners of the farm and me and my two brothers are helping them as much as we can. My youngest brother Manuel is 19 and still going to school. Nicolas is 22 and studying agricultural sciences nearby. My name is Andi. I just finished my studies in history and lenguages. I'm very interested in learning or improve languages. Especially spanish, catalan, french, portuguese and polish workers are welcome. But of course your welcome whereever you're from if you speak english. By the way, nazis, fascists and other reactionists are not welcome. About work: Mostly you will have to feed the animals and do some daily work in... more inside

Hey there!
We are looking for handy helpers for building furniture, painting, gardening etc! We have started a communal living project in beautiful Thuringia, Germany. We have a free shop with different events. There's also a big garden with lots of fruits and vegetables that we are working on transitioning towards permaculture and setting up a food forest. The house is very spacious and you can have a private or communal sleeping room. We are planning to redesign some of the rooms, thats why we would appreciate handy helpers that can help with painting and building furniture. You can also help in the free shop with sorting things or in the garden. We speak english and german fluently. Helpers are always welcome and delicious food will be provided:)

Summer discription:

besides our work on the farm we organise international workcamps, long-term stays, and voluntary work in different companies as printery, carpentry, farming, nursery

If you like to learn milking cows or driving an old tractor, cutting hedges, shear sheep, build fences or throw honey, test your strength in the muck or while digging the garden - you should join us.
If you find dung and greens not so interesting, we understand :-)
We are a living and working community with different workshops and bio-dynamic farming in Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg.
We are doing carpentry, printing, video production, publishing and distribution - it is always possible to help. Depending what you want to learn, you can help.
We have four more than less old houses here in the village, so we also have to do a lot of construction work. The farming we do is not a business for us to earn money. We do it because we think farming is an important part in a holistic way of life. We h... more inside
