Hi.....
Our names are Annette and Chris, and we own this 2 acre farm in Bulgaria.
and, although we have done a lot of the work ourselves...sometimes we could do with a bit more help.
At the moment, we would like someone,
to come and help us around the farm.
And Apart from looking after all our animals....
my husband Chris is planning on putting a lot of new fence posts in,
and of course, any other little jobs that come along.

The only thing is....and we don`t apologise for it, or keep it a secret, we are dedicated nudists,
and you most certainly will see me, and most probably Chris as well, naked.
So....not wishing to make anyone uncomfortable,
if nudity offends you, ( it does some people, )
we really are not the placement you are looking for.
Thank you.
Annette and Chris
p.s.
Unfortunately, Max, our beautiful German Shepherd died in his sleep last year and although he was 15 years old, we miss him everyday.
Now, we have three Bulgarian Dogs, Bessy and Arab ... more inside

Hi, I am Cathy and I have been living in Bulgaria since mid-July 2012. I am a very young 75 and live here all year round cooking healthy vegetarian and meat meals for my volunteers, friends and family. I love Bulgaria and the countryside and have no desire or intention of returning to the rat-race!

It is now June, 14th 2019. I have a young Argentine man coming to help me as a volunteer on the 21st June for an undefined time. As soon as I know how long he is staying, I will update this site.

The house has two bedrooms, one double (concreted but not covered) and one single which is tiled, a hall/lounge, a dining room, bathroom and shower room, a kitchen and two entrance porches, one into the kitchen and one into the main part of the house. The kitchen has now been tiled but does not have a fitted American style kitchen, though it is quite liveable in and is like farmhouse kitchen. The house is basic and rustic in style and is in the process of being renovated, but is not p... more inside

Now looking for volunteers from July 2019 onward
We have set up an Eco campsite and guest house using permaculture principles on site, in the foothills of the Pirin mountain range in the far south west of Bulgaria. Ideally situated if you are planning on arriving or leaving Bulgaria through Greece or Northern Macedonia

We have opened a small campsite and guest house in the far South West of Bulgaria. We are only 10 K from the Greek border and we like to take camping trips to the Greek coast. We also have a mineral water swimming pool at the end of the street as well as the smallest ‘town’ in Bulgaria Melnik famed for its unusual rock formations and wine making just up the road.

We are looking for help working inside and out; gardening (which is organic and using permaculture principles), repairing the barn that will be the campsite bar and cafe, building walls and paths and whatever else needs doing.

When we are busy during the season we are also looking for respon... more inside

We are putting the finishing touches to our home and garden. My wife Yvonne is Dutch and a keen and knowledgeable gardener. I am originally English but did not live there for more than 40 years. I work as a freelance translator and keep plenty of time for a stress free life and a little work around the place. I like making things myself from available materials. For example, we have a small pool (3 x 7 metres) that I made from a pond but it has a real pool sand filter system. We would like to have helpers that will lend a hand on some home and garden improvements and enjoy relaxing here and walking in our astounding countryside. We are in our sixties but still haven't grown up or decided what we will do when we have. We're keeping an open mind, and our taste in music etc. extends from the 60s through house music right up to cool stuff nowadays. We have three friendly dogs. Our main aim is to enjoy life and avoid stress at all costs :-)

We host volunteers from April to September.

Please note meat is a big part of our diet so we do not cater for vegetarians.

We live in a small village in Bulgaria, 10km from the nearby town of Popovo. The village is a friendly place, with 3 bars, shops, post-office and a library with internet access. The village has a regular bus service to Popovo, from where connecting buses or trains connect to the rest of Bulgaria. The village has a lively traditional folk-music and dance troupe, and there are plenty of opportunities to see them perform at the many local festivals throughout spring and summer.

We moved to Bulgaria in August 2014 and are busy establishing our organic smallholding. We have built beds for growing our vegetables in and have planted various fruit bushes and trees along with the mature trees we all ready had, these have allowed us to now be self sufficient in fruit and vegetables for the last 2 years. We have raised our own pigs and ducks for meat and our suppl... more inside

Small seaside hotel in a calm bulgarian village. It is one of the offgrid locations in BG, so a lot of nature lovers come to stay nearby. NESSEBAR - a town near here is a Unesco heritage. Long sand beaches and hike tracks make this place attractive. Helpers can enjoy all these when here. We need a help in cooking, reception desk, website improving. 5 hours daily and 5 days per week.

We are a young (28 and 33) English couple living in Bulgaria for nearly 4 years. We work as online English teachers as well as completely renovating our house and garden ourselves. We are living here with our chickens, our beautiful rescued dog, Lucy, and our lovely cat, Bilko, who are all very friendly and enjoy meeting new people.

5 years ago we travelled through Europe in a campervan and were helpers through Helpx in 5 different countries (including Bulgaria.) The places we visited and the people we met on that journey inspired us to move out here and live a more simple way of life. We are excited to now be on the other side and feel we have learnt from our experiences and will make good hosts!

The past four years we have been working on our home to make it liveable, as it was unused for over ten years when we first arrived! There is still a long way to go in the garden, but inside the house is almost completed. We have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with hot shower, kitchen and li... more inside
