Hello,
I would like to host native speakers of English or CELTA holders.
I am looking for helpers who can take over my English classes while they are at my place so my students can talk to a native speaker. I do not expect you to teach grammar unless you really want to try your luck.
Hours vary from day to day. This year's timetable usually starts with lunch at my place at about 2:00 pm and then you will have to teach 3-4 hours till the evening meal so there will be plenty of time for you to enjoy the city and the area in the mornings.
Your English conversation classes will consist of two or three students. There will be no need to change the location. The students come to your place which is on the same floor as my flat so you will be staying at a totally independent studio with a toilet, shower and kitchenette. I will provide the teaching a... more inside

We're just starting to set up our garden of dreams. A place where we want to thrive together with nature. We've taken on around 6 acres of agricultural land and we plan to completely change its landscape and use for the better.

Our plan is to create a place for nature, especially insects and plants to thrive.

Hi, my name is Alicia and I am running a small HEMP BIO*organic farm within lots of pure*healthy*joyful vibes all around. If you have a while, come, smile:) and help me. You can learn here how to make medicaments out of hemp [Cannabis Sativa L. ~ a totally legal one], and also how to take care on the soil & plants, how to collect, dry and process them into various products: CBD oil, hemp flour, dried leaves' tea, hemp butter, gummy bears.. and more.

Working on the field is very simple and you do not need any special skills to do it well, but I do care about good energy and some kind of passion*dedication.. as well as clear communication and honesty among all the helpers. The main tool for collecting hemp is secateur:) no big machines here. All my hemp products are handcrafted ~ you'll need your hands only.. maybe.. with a piece of heart..

You'll have the opportunity to learn everything about hemp plant. There'll also be a lot of space to talk, laugh out loud together, to share... more inside

We live together with my dad in a homestead located in a mountainous area in south of Poland. It's an old family house and a piece of land that used to be cultivated in a traditional way. Now we are trying to convert it according to permaculture's principals.

It's a long process and there's plenty of work to do. For the moment our main focus is to be self-sufficient in food (or at least as close as we can get). We have a vegetable garden and a couple of fruit trees, but we would like to plant more and develop more into direction of a food forest.
We also have hens, rabbits and chickens.

There's a river within a couple of minutes walk and some mountain trails nearby. It is not as remote as we would like it to be, we do have neighbours and an asfalt road ;) But it is still a very quiet area.

We have an extra room for volunteers (1 person or a couple). The common areas (kitchen, bathroom) are shared with us. We have wifi.

The volunteer's tasks depend strongly on the season... more inside

Update August 2020: We're open despite the lockdowns. We're building a timber frame house, and we have various other projects on the go. Plenty to keep us occupied :)

Hi. We're Henry, Kasia and Maia. We're an Anglo-Polish couple and we took the plunge and moved in Spring 2015 to this small farm in rural NE Poland. It's a lovely sheltered spot surrounded by woods and away from the road. It was all run down but we've made a LOT of progress already. We love having volunteers and we will make lots of effort to accommodate you as long as you are willing and able to fit in to our busy working environment. We do work hard and long hours, but we don't expect more from volunteers than about 5hrs a day, Monday to Friday.

When we first arrived we were living in a tent and getting water from the well in a bucket. We've since renovated the old garage into a communal kitchen/living/dining space. We built a yurt, and then a small straw bale cottage for my 77 year old mother who peacefully p... more inside

Place: Chrzanowo
Area: 2,5 ha
Number of people:1-2
Five years ago, we moved to the countryside. We built an ecohouse from strawballs. Our homestead is: 1,4 ha of honeyberries planted in Spring 2016, 0,1 ha of mixed orchard, where we planted old species of fruit trees (apple, pear, plum and cherry trees), 0,01 ha of cranberry and a vegetable garden. We have bio-certification of our farm. In everyday work, we are supported by a dog - Golden Retriever and 2 cats that live with us.In 2020 we will need help with weeding. We have also planned to renovate the patches of haskap as well as cleaning works in the orchard and vegetable garden.
If you understand the idea of voluntary work and are not afraid of physical work, then you are the person we are looking for! We need your help five- eight hours a day, five days a week (7:00-15:00 or 8:00-16:00 or another hours). Minimum stay in a Farm its it 7 days. (One weekend and 5 workdays) During free days, you have to be independent. We ca... more inside

Hello everyone.
Our helper (the best one ever) has left us, after 7 months of stay. So we could invite someone new. Couples preferred ;) We can offer an independent job, as well as an independent simple little house to stay.

I am sure you would find our ranch quite exotic! We have living creatures here, forests, old orchards, meadows and fields. If tractor - thirty years old Russian made machine called Lenin.
No sealed roads. You can wander all day and not meet a single man if you don't want to.
You can have a lot of hard "real man's" jobs here. Mending fences for the horses (first you have to get material from the woods). Making clay walls for the new forest house. Help feeding horses and goats, dogs and cats. Help with the field jobs (depending on the season). Chopping wood for winter. Cooking. And much more. I promise you be tired and satisfied every evening, sitting by the fire.
Please see our website.

Hi!
We are a holistic spa in a yurt in polish mountains. It's a part of yurt village consisting of 5 yurts, teepee, a sauna and desert tents. The place is 40 min walk from the closest village, we have a wonderful view, and surrounding us is only wild, wild nature (and animals!). We live in one of the yurts. We are open April-October.

We are 2 friends, women, former travellers, bodyworkers, Ewa is a yoga teacher, Kasia is physiotherapist. We are 33 years old. We value contact with nature, meditation, music, self-development. We consider yurta spa a healing space, so we dont drink, smoke, use drugs in or around it.

We invite you to our space, but check first, if it will be right for you. The conditions are pretty raugh. Some outdoor skills are essential: know how to make fire, chop wood, maybe build things, cook, have a bit of orientation in space, knowledge of plants and mushrooms. We will show you some, but we dont want you to hurt yourself.

You'll sleep in a teepee, by y... more inside
