We are family with 2 boys. We live 60km from Tallinn in a small village. We are starting to build our own house. The first building is sauna-house. We already have a small vegetable garden and some apple and plum trees. Around our area there are a lot of swamps. We have a lot of woods and untouched nature in Estonia.
We need somebody who can help to finish up a wooden sauna, covering the house outside walls with plaster etc. Making some firewood. We don`t need necessarily an expert, but somebody who is willing to help.
We need some help in the garden. Picking berries, cutting grass etc.
Accommodation:
One private room with a wide bed in our apartment. All conveniences - warm water, bathroom, water toilet ,high speed internet, TV.

I am German, living since nearly 25 years in Estonia and saving an old, very rare horse breed, the Old-Tori Horses. Its one of the smallest studbooks in Europe and these horses are big, calm and wonderful.

I manage a farm with 20 horses (and one foal!) in open stable system on my own. 3 more foals are expected to be born in 2019, next ones coming in june.

At the farm I would need help with electro-fences, some smaller reparations, taking care of the animals, running the small farm. Some of the horse shelters will be built new in 2019.

My farm is very small and tiny, but old Estonian furniture and decorations as well as an old oven from 1930 make it cosy and give a wonderful feeling for original Estonian farmlive. The farm is located in the middle of a forest and its very quiet and calm here.

Here await you 21 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats (sometimes new stray cats appear for some time as well), 24 chicken (also brooding themselves and old breed Livonian farmhens) and my old... more inside

Now you can find as in Facebook @uhetalulugu

We are a family of six that moved from Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, to the countryside. Our family includes four children: Karl-Alex(14), Ithaka-Mirell(4), Kelly-Marite(2), Stig-Johannes (1), parents Egon(32) and Triinu(30). Our ambitions are to organically grow our own food and create a self-sustaining farm.
We grow livestock that we take care of and will partly bring food to our table. We prefer to avoid using motorvehicles and use horses instead for farm-work, there's also an option for horseback riding as a leisure activity. In addition to horses, we have: free range chickens and ducks, goats and milking cow, 2 dogs and a kittys. All animals are fed organically and no pesticides are used in our root vegetable garden. Farm that we live in is atleast 150 years old, which we are in progress
of renovating using natural materials.

We are looking for help in our daily tasks of, feeding animals, maintaining vegetable garden and... more inside

We are a family with 2 small boys 2,7years and 11months old.
We run a Marina and small scale campsite on the island of Saaremaa in the Baltic Sea.

Our helper at the moment has sadly decided to go back to university and is therefore going back to Germany. So, we need a helper mainly looking after our 2 boys.

The atmosphere is really relaxed and international. We have visitors in the marina from all around the world.
We also do fishing and preparing the fish for our guests.

We have a log house in the vecinity of the Marina where we live and the helper have their own room and can come and go as please. We also have a car that the helper can use, a drivers license is almost a must...

We would love to have a flexible person who can do a bit of everything because no day is the same here.

The season for our business ends normally in October and then we prepare for the winter/ shutting down the Marina. During winter we normally go to south Spain for 2-4 months were we have... more inside

We are a family who is working on returning an old Estonian farmstead to its former glory. We are located in Estonia's largest and oldest National Park - Lahemaa, and our farm's history dates back many centuries. The oldest building we working on restoring is from year 1809!

Our main focus is raising fiber animals (fine wool sheep, angora goats, angora rabbits), and using their fiber in handspinning. We're not organic farm yet, but we are working towards becoming one in the next few years.

We are looking for one or two persons to help with simple outdoor construction/rebuilding projects, pasture upkeep (we don't use any machinery!) etc. Also always happy to have help with everyday farming (taking care of the animals, working in our vegetable garden etc). Lot's of fresh air guaranteed!
We can welcome you anytime of the year!

We need someone to help us with planting tomatoes, vegetable seeds and other gardening.

We are a family of 4: Anne (50), Jaan (50), Mare (28) and Joanna (almost 2). Our organic farm is located on a beautiful island called Saaremaa. We have lots of animals in our farm including cows, chicken and other birds, cats, a dog and a sheep. We grow vegetables, have fruit trees and berry bushes. We love to forage edible plants, herbs, berries and mushrooms from the nature.

Mostly we need help with garden work (digging, planting, seeding, weeding, harvesting) and babysitting. Depending what is going on in the farm you might get a chance to work with the animals, stack wood, make jam etc.

We like to eat healthy mixed diet using a lot of our own farm produce and organic products. Vegans and vegetarians welcome, we might be able to accommodate you if you have any food intolerances or allergies.

Saaremaa is a beautiful island and lots going on in the summer time. At the same time you´r... more inside

Hi ! Tere-tere,

We are a French couple (Clarisse, 38 years old ; Elie, 39 years old) living in South Estonia, near by Räpina (Polvama county). We own a 3.3 hectares land in the countryside, surrounded by forest. Our property looks like a tiny village : around the main house, where we live full time a year, 10 woody buildings were built during the past. We live in Estonia since 3 years, and bought this property in June 2018.
Our way of life is a little bit old fashion : no running water, firewood lifestyle, dry toilets, sauna every week. But we have (and provide ;) electricity and WiFi.
Warm season is very busy in Estonia : we share our time between buildings constructions/ repairs, organic gardening, animals, picking up fruits, wild berries and plants, cooking/ transforming everything to keep for winter, helping neighbors. We are raising animals : chickens, 2 turkeys, 2 goats and 2 sheep. We are expecting lambs, supposed to be born during spring.

There is a ton of project, t... more inside

We are a young Estonian-Canadian family (Iisak, Maris and our son Jaako) running a small scale organic goat farm. We live in an old farm property in the Deep South of Estonia, surrounded by forests which we share with deer, moose, wild boar, foxes and endless species of birds. We also live in an area where the ancient Seto Culture is still very much alive.

We are experimenting with permaculture and are striving to be as self-sufficient as possible. We work lots with the other young awesome families in the nearby village. We ourselves enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens, fruit and veggies from our organic garden, milk, cheese and other tasty treats from our organic milking goats and awesome rides in the forest on our Estonian horse, Kalver.

As our tiny cabin (restored with the help of volunteers) has barely enough space for the 3 of us, accommodation is in a tent or in the hay loft of the stable with the swallows. We eat and cook communally and socialize in our converted barn.... more inside

Hi, I am Hannes, 30 years old Estonian guy. I am a new owner to a historic country house in southern Estonia. The house was built in 1830s and served originally as a roadside inn. Now the busy days are long gone, the time stood still in this place for many years. My aim is to restore the building, preserving as much of its old and rustic flavor as possible. I also started to get interested in permaculture gardening. There is a small orchard which I would like to revive. I`m particularly interested in old regional varieties of fruit trees.

So, there is a lot to do, but there`s no hurry. It is all in a very early stage. Comfort of the 21st century should not have been taken for granted here. Helpers are expected to work 2-4 hours per day for a simple meal and bed. There is possibility to choose between different tasks. I would be happy to show you around the beautiful surrounding and wildlife. It is a lgbt-friendly place. People from different cultures are seen as a great possi... more inside
