The farm is situated in Nova Scotia on Canada`s east coast, more precise: on the Minas Basin the very tip of the Bay of Fundy. We are the home of Norwegian Fjord Horses. The pastures go down to the shore line. This place is famous for the worlds highest recorded tides, 12 - 16 meter twice daily. It is one of the most spectacular and magic places on earth.

If you love nature, are interested to have contact with gentle horses, and learn about natural horsemenship, you are on the right place.

The youngsters need some training and the older horses love to go on the trail.

One or two are welcome to help with the horses and all the work in and out on the farm. -No fear there is plenty of free time too.
Good riders preferred.

We grow organic table grapes , a good size vegetable garden and a few fruit trees. We have some construction projects such as a large tree house with a zip line and a green house made of wood and glass and clearing of brush and of course tending to the grape vines and garden. We can teach you the skills or if you already have them that is great. This is a real farm experience with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing, paddle boat, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, tv, phone and the use of our car to go to near by towns. There are separate accommodations for helpers and a communal kitchen for you to enjoy cooking together with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay.
Hope you can make it here.

Hi, my name is Jeff. I have lived on Cape Breton Island most of my life. I have a small property on the outer edge of the national park at Pleasant Bay , halfway around the Cabot Trail in the Cape Breton Highlands. Looking for someone who would be interested in helping daily cleaning and cooking, I could also use some help setting up a glamping site and working on a small cottage, no experience necessary. Also if you know some basic yoga that would be a plus! Accommodations and food provided. You will have lots of time to explore and hike all the trails!

This is a thriving Bed and Breakfast which I run on my own. There are red current and gooseberry bushes, rhubarb plants and space for a garden but I have not had time to maintain the garden.
The Bed and Breakfast is located on the ocean (in a sheltered cove) which is perfect for kayaking or swimming. Conveniently located to explore Halifax or the South Shore of Nova Scotia and minutes away from iconic Peggy's Cove.
I like help with greeting the guests and serving breakfast, laundry, cleaning the rooms and some yard or garden work. This requires up to 4 or 5 hours per day working along side me (many days less). Room and Board provided. I prefer minimum stays of 2 to 3 weeks. I have started scheduling "helpers" for the 2019 season. I am so fortunate that some returning "helpers" have already confirmed dates. I still would like help in April/May and again in September.
