We grow organic table grapes , a good size vegetable garden and a few fruit trees. We have some construction projects such as a large tree house with a zip line and a green house made of wood and glass and clearing of brush and of course tending to the grape vines and garden. We can teach you the skills or if you already have them that is great. This is a real farm experience with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, paddle boat, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, tv, phone and the use of our car to go to near by towns. There are separate accommodations for helpers and a communal kitchen for you to enjoy cooking together with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay.
Hope you can make it here.

The farm is situated in Nova Scotia on Canada`s east coast, more precise: on the Minas Basin the very tip of the Bay of Fundy. We are the home of Norwegian Fjord Horses. The pastures go down to the shore line. This place is famous for the worlds highest recorded tides, 12 - 16 meter twice daily. It is one of the most spectacular and magic places on earth.

If you love nature, are interested to have contact with gentle horses, and learn about natural horsemenship, you are on the right place.

The youngsters need some training and the older horses love to go on the trail.

One or two are welcome to help with the horses and all the work in and out on the farm. -No fear there is plenty of free time too.
Good riders preferred.

We invite hard-working happy people to help with kitchens and gardens (both decorative and produce), along with some events, programs, etc. It's an amazing community and you can be part of making it even better!

We have a magnificent arts centre based on 75 hectares of fields and forest overlooking the Bay of Fundy, only 20 minutes from Wolfville and 80 minutes from Halifax. In winter, we need help with light construction projects, and assisting with some of our community programs. Spring, summer and fall, we need help with the arts projects and with the large gardens, and with the kitchen.

It is an amazing place, and when open programs are available, we invite our volunteers to take part in great arts programs (when available)!

Also looking for cooks, people to help with ushering for the theatre, etc.

Looking for interesting, helpful people who want a new experience and want to make something beautiful!

I live on 24 hectares (60 acres) of waterfront property, with a beach, very rural, mostly bush. I am developing a half acre organic garden for market produce. Between May and October I need help with building raised beds, filling beds, planting, weeding, watering, protecting, and harvesting produce. Some carpentry skills would be a great asset. Work schedule flexible, close to the ocean, the Cabot trail, many beautiful beaches, live Celtic music, hikes, kayaking and canoeing. One or two bedrooms in my house available. We are currently seeking help for July and August 2019 as we continue growing this unique project. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to participate in the creation of a new farm and gathering place and who are interested in learning about off-grid living, unlearning, and rewilding. It will take many hands to see this vision succeed and we invite you to come and be a part of the journey!

In 2016, following our dream of living in deep connection to our food and The Wild, we found ourselves stepping into the role of stewards of an incredible piece of land on the East Coast of Canada. This was a long way away from our roots in British Columbia, yet one of the few places in Canada that was affordable. Our farm is located on the west side of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. This unique property is 74 acres in size, consisting of mixed forest with a stunning year-round brook flowing through this lush, magical landscape. We have cleared approximately 4 acres for o... more inside
