We are looking for one or two helpers beginning in January 2020. We are not open to stays of a few days or 1 week as that is not enough time to train someone and have them become accustomed to the horse work and be able to work on their own. A valid drivers license is required as you will be required to drive to pick up horse feed, groceries, deliver packages, etc. We will supply a vehicle.
Live the best of both – peaceful farm and vibrant city! We are looking forward to welcoming one or two people to assist us in the operation of our horse farm located just outside beautiful Calgary, Alberta. Duties would be general horse care including feeding, grooming, exercising along with some basic farm maintenance (example: lawn cutting). Some horse knowledge/experience is preferred but the most important thing is a good attitude and must not be afraid of horses.
In addition to the horse work, we would like a helper who is willing to assist with some light housework and cooking. We... more inside

Our main farming activities include feeding, training, breeding and caring for our herd of 100 horses. To view current pictures of our horses life here, go to our Touchstone Farm Facebook page.

We are endeavoring to organically produce some of our own food. To this aim, we also have a few goats, chickens, a cow and calves and a garden.

Hello! Welcome to our Farm!! Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land with a variety of very sweet animals, we know we are so lucky to have what we have and decided to share our treasures with everyone. Our goal is to make a difference to the earth we live on, the people we interact with and the animals we share this planet with. We have turned our farm into a petting zoo and Airbnb. We have a variety of tasks around the farm from daily animal care to building projects and everything in between, there will always be something that suits your talents! And if you think you have none (talents) don’t worry, we will dig them out if you!
