We can often accept take last minute people. We can always use a carpenter or plumber, and sometimes offer pay for extra hours, especially if we only have 1 or 2 people (& you are an efficient helper), but for qualified carpenters, plumbers or mechanics, we also pay some extra for the basic hours for these trades.

*** PLEASE READ OUR AD CAREFULLY, AS WE DON`T WANT YOU TO BE UNHAPPY HERE AS IT MAKES US UNHAPPY AS WELL. We have had 1 negative experience on this site with someone that greatly exaggerates, but have wonderful experiences with most helpers & have made (& sometimes visited) many new friends! Only people that ignore what we ask for in our ad are unhappy, as it is frustrating for us & also for them. We know what works for us as we have had many people here. We host with many sites & also since 1988. Most helpers don't have any references so we rely on your word that you fit our requirements.
Life is too short for anyone to be stressed out!
