Learn new ways of raising organic crops B.C. is famous for the world over. Stay in the beautiful Cowichan Valley, B.C., in an architect-designed 2018 two story, ocean view house in your own bedroom with bath (couples have a larger, en-suite bedroom), family room (TV, books, wifi) we hardly ever use ourselves in exchange for work on our organic farm growing medicinal plants, in and around the house. There's a lot to learn here and lots of fun things to do.
The beach is a 10 minute walk away, town a 10 minute drive, 45 minutes north of Victoria. Great cycling: bikes to lend - 20 mins. to best coffee shop in the valley, trails, kayaking: kayaks to lend with experience only, and more in the immediate area. The valley is the warmest place in Canada and known for its organic food and wines with the best Saturday market on the island. One of our dear friends, a local artist, has hosted HelpX helpers for many years.
