Wow, exploring right outside our backdoor along side the Campbell River is a beautiful place to experience SUMMER and Vancouver Island`s great outdoors!!! Although we live on a one acre town lot, our back yard is situated on a cliff over looking an accessible beautiful heritage river, with a nature park setting of ferns, douglas firs, maples and alder trees. You can often see deer, racoons, bears and the silver backs of salmon and Steelhead fish jumping in the ebb and flow of the riverís pools. We have trail access to the river below, where you can enjoy listening to the sing song of many birds, tubing down the river/swimming in the heat of the summer, and trying your hand at casting for Steelhead fish. As well, our neighbourhood is the access point to many scenic nature walking and biking trails. The 1st three photos are at our home and the others are nearby nearby trails and local vistas.

If you have a specific trade or skill to exchange we can find you a suitable project. Ot... more inside

We welcome a helper to come be a part of our family of four. We have two kids, Ezra 9, and Arya 7. We have an urban garden and several fruit trees that supply our family with both fresh and preserved food the year round. We are looking for someone who wants to become a temporary part of our family and participate in a cultural exchange in every way. We look forward to both teaching and learning from our guests.

Jobs are often flexible and can fit in with leisure and other goals and objectives. Work days are also flexible but most do 4 hours a day (on average) with one day off a week, for times where we have a larger project or a preference for 5-6 hours/five days a week and two days off this is open for discussion and just depends on our need for help. We need flexible helpers as sometimes we need more help on a day and will always offer extra time off if this is the case. For winter the help we need is child care, house work and sometimes walking the dog. For spring we wil... more inside
