We have a beautiful property an hour south of Whitehorse, Yukon on 65 acres where we home school our two kids (12 & 15). We have two cabins for nightly rentals, a publishing business, a descent garden, plenty of yard work, a pond/swimming pool and a beautiful deck with lake, mountain and glacier view! We also have two horses, a donkey, two dogs, two cats, two birds (and a resident raven which we can hand feed (pretty cool)), an aquarium and rabbits.

We're looking for help with anything and everything and will consider you as family. We want this to be as much fun for you as it is for us.

We also offer the use of mountain bikes, canoe, kayak and possibly a vehicle

Yukon government yesterday confirmed two cases of COVID-19 in Yukon and suspension of all non-essential travel into and out of Yukon. Effective immediately.

AT THIS POINT we will only be able to host travellers who are currently in Yukon and need a place to stay...We are able to offer food and accommodations long term.

Hello there,

We live on 20 acres land on the shore of the beautiful Dezadeash Lake, southern Yukon.

We are off grid, running power with solar panels and generator.
As a mixed couple French / First Nation we try to live and promote the most self sustainable life as it can be : we fish, hunt, pick berries, garden, pack our water...

We have three dogs (Jack Russell, Husky and a Mutt) and one cat.

We are looking for 1 or 2 to help us with the few projects we have this season. We would enjoy teaching someone who is interested in the bush lifestyle, has an independent personality and wants to exchange knowledges.

SUMMER (starting from June 2020)
Building an off grid house, getting the garden ready and planted, harvesting wild mushrooms, harvesting medecine plants and process them

We are an older couple with a Small 28 acre developing farm located 20 km from Dawson City Yukon on the banks of the beautiful Klondike River, which must be crossed in either a motor boat or canoe.

We have gardens, goats, chickens and pigs. During the 2020 season there will be weeding of the gardens, making hay, cutting firewood, picking berries for jams, picking and preserving vegetables. A fencing project that was started last year needs to be completed in the early part of the season. There may be a few building projects if time permits

We use organic principles and practices in our growing and animal care but are not registered or certified.


In exchange for help on these projects we have a holiday trailer for you to live in, with outhouse and outside shower. Meals will be at our house with most everything grown on the farm.

We are a rural homestead style farm with horses, cows, pigs and chickens looking for help with all aspects of farm life, animal care, field work, house work and cooking. We also have a small year round horseback riding program specializing in "natural horsemanship". Accomplished riders and horsemen are welcome! WE ARE LOOKING FOR HOME-SITTERS for 2 to 3 weeks weeks from about July 15 to August 8 2020. Dates are somewhat flexible. You will spend few days with us to get to know our animals and how to run our off-the-grid house, after that, we will leave for a trip and you will be on your own until we come back.

You have to love animals and nature and be comfortable in a remote location with the closest neighbors 15km away. We have a couple of different positions available. First, we are looking for a motivated, self-directed, individual or couple to help us with childcare of Shale and Granite while both parents are at work. The boys enjoy making new friends from around the world each summer and showing them the beauty of their community. Currently we have a return helper coming to care for the boys from July - Sept. So we are in need of someone from Mid to late April to June 2019.

We have a variety of accommodation options on our property as many of our Bistro staff live on our property as well. We also have a large variety of outdoor equipment that will allow you to take advantage of our pristine wilderness and have your own adventure, like canoes, kayaks, bikes, etc. We will also have opportunity for helpers to join us on some of our family adventures into the mountains and surrounding wilderness.
