We are a small family of three: Robert, Ivy and our two year old son. Ivy is a Nurse Practitioner and Robert works in the office of a local painting contractor. We have a couple of extra bedrooms with a private bathroom at our house in Kahului. Our house is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood with a bus stop nearby and access to the main highways that go around Maui. Kahului is the main town on Maui and is where the shopping and major businesses are.

We are working "professionals" but are very chill and easy going. We like meeting new people and doing things together on the weekends when we`re not working. Nature is our favorite place to be so a hike to some waterfalls in the Bamboo Forest, snorkeling with the turtles at Napili, or just hanging out at Little Beach for the drum circle on Sundays are some of our favorite activities.

We are looking for some help with our household in exchange for a room and some board (breakfast). The household tasks are cleaning and coo... more inside

We are an off grid yoga, meditation and ecological Center in Pahoa, Hawaii. We host spiritual retreats from all over the world and also operate as a Bed and Breakfast when we are not hosting groups. We rely on solar power for our energy (we have a generator for cloudy days) and rainwater (100% safely filtered) for drinking.

This is an incredible place on ten acres of organic fruit trees with views of the ocean and a wonderful place for inner and outer peace. We support individual, couples and group retreats from a variety of cultures and beliefs with the intent of supporting and helping others develop their own path.

You will be sleeping most likely in a cabin shared with one other volunteer with comfortable beds, fresh towels and bedding. There is free high speed satellite internet available, hot showers, flush toilets and shared fully equipped kitchen. You will be responsible for your own medical insurance. We are an 11.2 acre organic farm located in South Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our major commercial crops are coffee and mangos. The farm is a bit like a botanical garden with many other tropical fruit trees and plants including avocados, sour sop, citrus, starfruit, mountain apples, pineapple, cacao and bananas. Our apprentices develop the garden, maintain the farm, harvest produce and help prepare it for market. We can accommodate 2 additional apprentices on Konacopia Farm and we look for couples since that works best for our housing. We have one long term apprentice couple. The living space is two gazebos on a 12' x 10' deck under an avocado tree with a view of Keei Beach. It has a kitchenette and eating area, with comfortable sleeping. You will have your own refrigerator. The bath house is shared as well as the lounge area. We ask for 4 hours of organized farm help 3 mornings a week from 7:30 am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in exchange for a place to stay... more inside

We have openings for a single or a couple on December 13. No tobacco, please. Also, some of the cabins have flush toilets, some use a rudimentary composting toilet and the community shower has lots of hot water but it isn't fancy. There are chickens wandering around, and they poop. If you are looking for hotel conditions, this isn't it. If you are looking for a beautiful setting and some adventure and would like to learn something about plants and Hawaii, please come on board.

We have a ten acre property with Anthuriums, coffee, orchids and lots of fruit trees, located in the rural side of the Big Island, far from the tourist areas of the state. While the growing is not organic, we try to use as little chemical input as possible. It is a peaceful and safe place, We raise chicken, eggs, and are looking at raising catfish and tilapia. We have two acres of producing coffee and picking season has begun. There is a community garden that helps feed everyone, and how well it is working ... more inside

Our main location is on The Big Island of Hawaii. North Kohala is a beautiful area, with clean air and lovely surrounding countryside. We have a large vegan-organic garden where we grow much of our own food, teach others how to do the same, and offer free cooking classes, consultations and meals to those interested in transitioning to a healthier, more peaceful way of living.

We also own 450 acres of magnificent New Zealand countryside, which we call Shangri-La, where we have been hosting helpers for the past 6-7 years. The land is situated in a private valley, with two pristine rivers. Each summer season (from November to May) we welcome WWOOFers who are willing to help us lift Shangri-la up to its name, which includes the planting and maintenance of hundreds of fruit trees, lots of flower gardens and several veganic vegetable gardens.

In 1979, Gentle World became incorporated as a nonprofit educational organization, whose purpose is to help build a more peaceful society, by ... more inside

My wife and I own and operate a Bed and Breakfast and we are also small-scale farmers. Our property is 5 acres (2 hectors) and we grow a variety of fruits on our 100% organic farm. We are primarily looking for help on the farm to do things such as pruning/trimming/weeding/mowing/weed-whacking/etc. We want to build a second chicken coop so anyone with carpentry skills would be welcomed. There is also light cleaning outside our home (raking leaves, rinsing snorkel equipment, sweeping, etc.). We also appreciate help with indoor cleaning projects.

We are located south of Captain Cook at 1500 ft. elevation. Below us is Honaunau Bay and Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park (Place of Refuge). We are at the end of a one-mile road mauka from the main highway. At the highway, there is a store, restaurant, and fruit stand all within close walking distance. A large grocery store is 5 miles away. There are a lot of HelpX/WOOFERS on the island and hitch-hiking is popular and safe. W... more inside
