WE ARE A WOMEN ONLY HOST....as we only have one cabin for everyone to share.

We currently are full for the remaining year. Mahalo.

Our core belief is that all peoples should treat each other with respect and with honest cooperation. We believe that we are all one people regardless of race, religion or sexual preference. If you share these core values we invite you, Women of the World, to connect with us and let us know of your availability to Skype and “talk story”. If you do not share this belief, this farm may not be the one for you.

WHAT DO WE DO:
As former coffee farmers, we understand the value of what the land provides and seek for ways to live in a supportive and sustainable way. One of the ways we have found to achieve this is to participate at the Farmers Markets with our farm-sourced and home made goods.

We believe our strength as individuals is in the strength of the community we build. Working together, and in some instances, performing individual tasks.... more inside

My wife and I own and operate a Bed and Breakfast and we are also small-scale farmers. Our property is 5 acres (2 hectors) and we grow a variety of fruits on our 100% organic farm. We are primarily looking for help on the farm to do things such as pruning/trimming/weeding/mowing/weed-whacking/etc. There is also light cleaning outside our home (raking leaves, rinsing snorkel equipment, sweeping, etc.). We also appreciate help with indoor cleaning projects.

We are located south of Captain Cook at 1500 ft. elevation. Below us is Honaunau Bay and Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park (Place of Refuge). We are at the end of a one-mile road mauka from the main highway. At the highway, there is a store, restaurant, and fruit stand all within close walking distance. A large grocery store is 5 miles away. There are a lot of HelpX/WOOFERS on the island and hitch-hiking is popular and safe. Within a few miles are beaches (Ho'okena) and popular snorkeling (2-Step/Honaunau Bay) area... more inside

Primarily a banana farm, but also coffee and avocados. We are mostly concentrating on our banana business as demand is very strong and we are having a hard time keeping up!

Remote, exotically beautiful location on an old Hawaiian Kuleana garden land surrounded by jungle forrest. We are a small family with thriving farm businesses that require a lot of work. We are long time farmers here with lots to share about Kona style permaculture if you are interested. We live off grid, on water catchment, at the end of a 4wd road on the mountain above Ho'okena Beach and work long days as our dried banana business is growing beyond our wildest expectations. We also have won the Kona Coffee Cupping Competion (2004) and we ship avocados directly to Honolulu health food stores. We are full time farmers and this is a real farm, so if you want to experience life on a busy organic farm, please be ready to immerse yourself into our work bubble. We love our job but realize it's not for everybody! l... more inside
