Hi my name is Spencer, I am a small scale organic farmer and produce seller at a farmers market (Founder/Owner). My focus is on food and rely on my produce and home made conserves as my source of my livelihood.

My homestead is located in Hoopa, an indigenous Native American reservation in Humboldt County California.
Situated on the Trinity river, 20 miles (30km) from Willow creek, it is a small acreage with a diverse range of fruit and vegetables.

I am running this homestead with some help from my 19 year old son, Jules and two dogs Bella and Barrington but there always a job to be done.

If you like the sound of this please feel free to contact me at any given point and am always happy to answer any question you may have.

Come explore 5 acres with beach access on Lopez Island next to Shark Reef Sanctuary (a park where Sea Lions frolic with many small beach coves and amazing views).

The helper here now (she's awesome) says I need to update this - it's nicer than I make it sound and need to add pictures of myself - so here it goes...

A beautiful spot, with beaches all around and many trails on and around the property. Deer, Eagles, Seals, Sea lions, otter, rabbits, wood peckers and more.

This is a beautiful area, however we will be roughing it (outhouse/off-grid for now), staying in a `tour bus` or a tent while we work to complete the tiny house and other projects...think witnessing the birth of this place - here`s your chance to help it grow!(and it needs your help).

Only a couple reviews here, so I can send you a link up my profile on a similar site (18 references - all positive).

After 9 years in beautiful Haines, Alaska I have relocated to a raw mountain ranch at 4750 ft elevation, located in Crescent Lake Oregon. We have been here now for 3 years and it just keeps getting better and thanks to all of our fantastic helpers! (I will also offer ranch stays for a nominal fee, and which includes hands on ranch experiences, for those who are unable to volunteer due to visa issues).

We enjoy our guests of all natures

I am needing ongoing help with fencing and some building, animal care, clearing, artsy ideas, path building, housekeeping etc. House is small, but cozy! Barn is located away from the house, with a loft.

I have alpacas, llama, goats,a mule, donkeys, 6 dogs, one cat, turkeys, chickens and 2 geese. With the goal of starting "interactive ranch tours", encompassing education about the animals, art, music. Any ideas are welcome. We will together create a sustainable business that can support these wonderful creatures! I also sell goat milk and eggs.... more inside

Before sharing Dandelion with you:

Feeling endangered by the covid? Our life style is sheltered to begin with. We also use immune boosting diet and supplements to ward off infections of all sorts, including the latest. Beyond that we have ready powerful healing agents (bulk for the farm community) known to suppress and heal. We live without fear here.

Are YOU a handy-man builder? We need one of you! Just not enough of that here and it would be GREAT to move ahead with some crazy fun sustainably made very little cabins for Enchanted Encampment, our mini ecovillage campground....oh, and sooooooo many other projects everyone longs for here. You would be a very POPULAR person!

Cleaning and beautifying, weeding, watering. Many forms of help would be deeply appreciated by the farm family. Come be part of us!

We are a Spiritual retreat center and a wedding venue located close to the beautiful town of Julian in Southern California. We are located about an hour drive away from San Diego, and we are a few miles away from Julian.

We are in the midst of gorgeous rural native trees and nature away from urban life here. We are not affiliated with any particular spiritual ideology or philosophy with a central authority, but we are rather a community of truth seekers learning and growing in the mirror of relationship and intelligent questioning of everything; and love, we believe, is the only light in this spiritual journey.

We have very Yummy, healthy and organic Vegan and Vegetarian food here shared with all community members. We would love to welcome new members who would like to have some peaceful time and help us in the ways that fit them best. Come visit the great Pacific NW! Enjoy 7 acres out in the woods 50 minutes from Portland, OR and in the Columbia Gorge. There are lots of big trees and a sweet creek that runs through the property. It's not a working farm just a big homestead that needs some Love. We have a cob sanctuary, we are nurturing a ton of raised beds, ducks, maintaining solar and PV systems, a small orchard and lots of other fun stuff. We try to match projects with your interests and there are no deadlines or stuff that has to get done. It's a quiet and nurturing space. There is one private living space for helpXers and plenty of space to throw down tents. Expectations are to be respectful of yourself and others, clean up after yourself, be wild, rest, cook, laugh, hike, nap, work, have fun, be compassionate, tolerant, patient, and love. We ask that you put in 25+ hours a week but we are flexible. Please email us if you are interested and include the dates that you are considering. We are open to long term ... more inside

I have a lovely home to share with responsible, trustworthy travelers who wish for safe, comfortable, reliable lodging in a friendly and generous environment in exchange for work. If you happen to have skills in carpentry, painting, or electrical and are looking for a longer stay, this would be ideal. Do you know how to set posts for a fence? I'm willing to offer a longer term exchange/stipend for your expertise. Of course, if you happen to not have these skills, there's always other chores and tasks in exchange for shorter stays.
My house is located up bay from San Francisco in a great little town next to a wetland and centrally located to many wonderful outdoor adventures (Marin, Napa, Pt. Reyes). Cat, WiFi, garden, quiet, peaceful. I'm well-connected to the community. Long-time former resident of San Francisco. My house is located within walking distance to Vallejo ferry building where you can hop on a ferry that take you directly to downtown San Francisco. By car, it's a qui... more inside
