WE ARE LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE HELP!

Longer stays are preferable, however, we are more than happy to host anyone interested in joining us!

We also have openings for permanent positions that offer full room and board + a weekly stipend.

-----

We are a raw, grass fed goat milk dairy located directly between Seattle and Bellingham. We are home to a herd of 100 something goats, a small herd of driveway goats, chickens, pet cats, a cow, pups and a few barn cats. The owner is extremely hands on and works alongside her team members.

We recently relocated to an old cow dairy with a 100+ year old barn, so there are a multitude of projects that can be done.

We also run a dairy - we milk goats, bottle the milk, run a human and pet milk line, perform herd health, hoof trimming, medicinal/vet procedures etc.

We are currently looking for help with: starting our garden (produce, herbal and medicinal), general labor (mucking, etc) goat cuddling, milking, etc.

We ask for 25 ... more inside

Nestled in the coastal range of Mendocino County, California (about 45 minutes west of Ukiah) we are establishing a small farm and wildlife sanctuary.  Based on principles of sustainability & permaculture our expanding ridge top garden consists of a variety of fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers.  Aside from garden tasks additional projects may include gathering seaweed and other native wild foods, cooking, canning, fermenting foods, making herbal preparations, habitat restoration, brush and trail clearing, small scale green building and learning how to build and maintain an off grid infrastructure and solar system.

Our homestead is remote.  We are currently looking for hardworking self-starters  who are open minded, love to work outdoors, want to unplug and would enjoy the serenity of a mountain forest.  We require a 1 month minimum stay.  If you have ever thought you might like to homestead or purchase raw land then our farm would be a good place to visit.  If you are looking fo... more inside

We're a small family farm on four beautiful acres surrounded by vineyards an hour north of San Francisco. Although family, friends and neighbors stop by frequently, it’s my husband Ted and I who live at La Bella Luce and work the property as a labor of love. We’re looking for helpers who appreciate simple things: the sun, the soil, jumping in the pool to clean up after work and cooking in an outdoor kitchen surrounded by vegetables.

Please be willing to get down and dirty helping us with any of the following: fixing irrigation, harvesting veggies, pulling weeds, painting, planting grapes, spreading mulch, transplanting trees, building and repairing fences, pruning grapes, drying tomatoes, preserving fruits and vegetables, making wine, mowing the lawn, building rock walls and yes, shoveling shit (manure from our local organic dairy). If you like working with horses, our neighbor has two thoroughbreds she enjoys sharing. Everyone helps cook and cleanup afterwards so bring your fav... more inside
