Colorado Mountain Valley Homestead seeking social media marketing expert. I am currently seeking someone who would be interested in helping to complete the following project either as a visitor or as a permanent resident: I am seeking someone who has the skills, knowledge, and experience with social media marketing and crowdfunding.  For the right person, there is a wonderful opportunity for long term residency here at the homestead, with the possibility of a monthly income. See my homestead's website (wordpress) address above.

I am only able to offer at the present time a private room or outside tent camping experience in which I can supply the tent. WIFI is also provided. You would need to supply our own food hence that is the reason for only the 15 hours weekly work requirement.  If the crowdfunding campaign is successful I would then be able to offer you full room and board long term

I am located in a beautiful Southern Colorado Mountain Valley where the elk and antelope r... more inside

We are a Jewish am ha` aretz family on a small organic (non-certified) farmstead in the foothills of the Rocky mountains in north-central Idaho. We are near the Clearwater River and the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. but our most special crop, and the reason we live the simple life we do, is our children.

Our goal is to raise our family in a healthy, country, close to the earth kind of way. Animals, gardening, baking, herbal remedies, natural food preservation, bio-dynamic gardening methods.... We love having volunteers, getting to know other cultures, sharing stories, and experimenting with new ideas. Plus, the help has been an amazing blessing.

Skills you could learn here, learning about fermenting breads, sourdough, baking in a cob oven, ethical poultry production and gardening, and different methods of making soils more fertile organically.

I have a Ranch with 12 Icelandic horses, did have some horse breeding, raising, training and now sale some Icelandic Horses, in the south west corner of Colorado, bordering New Mexico Nat. Forest. I am looking for helpers that like to come to the Ranch for working vacations. I am from Switzerland, I speak German and English.
My wish is to find helpers that are already pretty good riders in order to ride the horses, and also like to do ranch work. Helpers that love to work with smaller 5-gaited horses, and do like to work outside all day. For riding they need to be smaller people and not heavy in order to ride my Icelandic Ponies, see weight limits on my website. I have a nice little one person bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom... I offer 3 meals if they do ranch work all day and/or can help training horses. You can help chose from what is in the fridge, and also help with the cooking so that you like the meals. This in exchange to help me feed animals and do the clean up firs... more inside

We are a very busy couple and own a fitness business in Boulder, Colorado. Whoever stays with us can workout at our facility if they would like to. We have a beautiful gym with wellness center.

We are looking for someone to help us with house cleaning, cooking and babysitting at times. Possibly some yard work if there is time. We are looking for about 30 -35 hours per week of work in exchange for food, accommodation and gym membership. We love to meet people from other cultures as we have both traveled extensively and have friends all over the world.

We purchased an amazing modern house in Lyons last year, Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park. The house needs some work outside. Our house is located walking distance from downtown where there are lots of restaurants. You are also near one of the best mountain biking in the country. There are lots of hiking trails close by and our place is surrounded by nature.

You will have your own private room. We are very much into h... more inside

Small sheep ranch in northern Montana offers hands-on-learning experiences. We run about 75 head of ewes for wool and lamb crops. There is need for sheep herding help in the summer, lambing help during February through April in particular. Shipping is in August. But internships accepted all year.
Other ranch activities include plantings for wildlife, fencing, farming, gardening and landscaping, building and repairs. Besides sheep, ranch animals include horses and goats.
I would welcome Helpers who have some skills in carpentry, construction, painting, driving tractors, fencing - or who want to learn. Several projects are lined up that would give a variety of experiences.
Summer and fall are wonderful times to spend in this area as time off to see Glacier Park and rodeos, fairs, other events are easily scheduled.

Winter project: do you have the skills and interest to work on a micro-apartment or tiny house ? Longer stay available.
This town is small and situated in SE Colorado surrounded by ranches and farming. The Rockies begin only 2 hours distant, with Colorado Springs 1 1/2 hour distant , and Kansas in the other direction.
Wifi. Normal helping stays are 1-21 days. Bring a strong work ethic (even on tasks that are new to you), a flexible attitude (so much that can go wrong, will !!) and just be wanting more skills: ground work with critters/ horses, gardening, tools, building things, machinery etc. We'll help give you skills.
Non-smokers please (including 420 products) ...seriously! No personal pets please.
Bikes are available to use to the lake and locale; excellent local library. There is no public transport; not necessary.
You will help prepare meals, and especially clean up after yourself :) Safe travels.
