We are a very busy couple and own a fitness business in Boulder, Colorado. Whoever stays with us can workout at our facility if they would like to. We have a beautiful gym with wellness center.

We are looking for someone to help us with house cleaning, cooking and babysitting at times. Possibly some yard work if there is time. We are looking for about 30 -35 hours per week of work in exchange for food, accommodation and gym membership. We love to meet people from other cultures as we have both traveled extensively and have friends all over the world.

We purchased an amazing modern house in Lyons last year, Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park. The house needs some work outside. Our house is located walking distance from downtown where there are lots of restaurants. You are also near one of the best mountain biking in the country. There are lots of hiking trails close by and our place is surrounded by nature.

You will have your own private room. We are very much into h... more inside

Colorado Mountain Valley Homestead seeking social media marketing expert. I am currently seeking someone who would be interested in helping to complete the following project either as a visitor or as a permanent resident: I am seeking someone who has the skills, knowledge, and experience with social media marketing and crowdfunding.  For the right person, there is a wonderful opportunity for long term residency here at the homestead, with the possibility of a monthly income. See my homestead's website (wordpress) address above.

I am only able to offer at the present time a private room or outside tent camping experience in which I can supply the tent. WIFI is also provided. You would need to supply our own food hence that is the reason for only the 15 hours weekly work requirement.  If the crowdfunding campaign is successful I would then be able to offer you full room and board long term

I am located in a beautiful Southern Colorado Mountain Valley where the elk and antelope r... more inside

We are a Jewish am ha` aretz family on a small organic (non-certified) farmstead in the foothills of the Rocky mountains in north-central Idaho. We are near the Clearwater River and the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. but our most special crop, and the reason we live the simple life we do, is our children.

Our goal is to raise our family in a healthy, country, close to the earth kind of way. Animals, gardening, baking, herbal remedies, natural food preservation, bio-dynamic gardening methods.... We love having volunteers, getting to know other cultures, sharing stories, and experimenting with new ideas. Plus, the help has been an amazing blessing.

Skills you could learn here, learning about fermenting breads, sourdough, baking in a cob oven, ethical poultry production and gardening, and different methods of making soils more fertile organically.

We are a young family (former Helpx volunteers throughout Europe!) that has built with our own hands a small cabin rental business in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA. We will need help at various times throughout the summer and winter of 2020 and potentially beyond with some building projects and some cleaning. We have a 10-acre property with a private waterfall and creek located just outside of East Glacier Park, gateway to the Two Medicine region of Glacier National Park. We have a renovated Airstream camper which we currently use as an office. It has a bed, couch, fridge, stove, sink, toilet and shower- a bit spartan but comfortable! We have bikes, a bike cart, and a stroller available for transport.

We will need a helper/helpers for the first 2 weeks of July (and maybe a bit before to give things a run-through). This period will likely consist mostly of cleaning 2 cabins for changeovers ~ approximately 10 hours/week, but depends on guests. You would be responsible for your... more inside

We are a group of family and friends from Louisiana who have re-located to the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Our new home is in Niwot, Colorado near Boulder. Most of the time our home is occupied a diverse age group-- two 6 year olds, three milinneals and a grandmother.

We are focused on creating heaven on earth through conscious living, caring and sharing. In everyday living, we share as a extended family---and we enjoy customs and celebrations that are inclusive of many cultures and tribes. We have a lively & fun home and we enjoy sharing food and music and art.

We love to cook and share meals. We do a lot of Louisiana-style black pot cooking. Being new to Boulder, we are enjoying the healthy organic produce and wild game available in Colorado. We love trying new cultures and foods with our Helpers.

Music and dance are a rich part of our lives. Our instruments includes harps, guitar, synthesizer, native drums, didgeridoo, harmonica and singing. ... more inside

We are a 20 acre off-grid, solar powered, fairly remote homestead on the side of a mountain. We are at 4700 feet elevation. We specialize in raising cashmere goats in a holistic manner. We live in a very small strawbale house, cook on a wood cookstove in the winter, electric hot plates and a little convection oven in the summer.
The land is very special around here, with stunning views and no houses in sight, although there are a couple of neighbors not too far away. Wildlife is everywhere, from rabbits and deer, elk and moose, to foxes, coyotes, wolves, bear and mountain lions.
We have gardens, both veggie and flowers, plus fruit trees and berries. 27 cashmere goats, 17 Chickens,2 dairy goats, and 2 Livestock Guardian dogs.
There are goat pens to clean, gardens to tend to, and firewood to gather, among other things. We have some building projects planned, too. We're bordered by thousands of acres of National Forest lands, so there are lots of hiking oppo... more inside

Are you tired of the rat race? Tired of being tethered to your Technology? Looking to get away from it all?
Me too!!! So I came up here to the Mountains of West Virginia.
"Country Roads take me home..." YES, that West Virginia!!!
I'm in a cozy, recently updated 120 year old 2 story wood framed house nestled on 60 acres. With Apple trees, wild berries, natural spring water, deer in the front yard, fireflies at night and some of the most breathtaking views out on the "back forty".
It's not completely in the middle of nowhere, heck there's a county road just 100 feet from the front porch. However, the nearest gas station is 15min away, the nearest grocery store is less than 30min away and the nearest town is less than an hour away.
There is cell phone service, better for AT&T users. No WiFi or TV! There are a few radio stations on the stereo.
Yes, we have electricity and actual spring fed water!
If your looking to get away from it all, but not get stuck out in the middle of no... more inside

South of Spanish Fork, Utah, in a semi rural environment, we have 15 acres (5.85 hectares) upon which sit a gorgeous temple, a 6,000 sq foot residential facility with comfortable double rooms, two outdoor stages, a large covered pavilion, and amenities for parrots, peacocks, llamas and 3 small cows.

There is a 200,000 gallon lake with waterfall from which we gravity feed one acre under cultivation. The acreage produces chemical free tomatoes, eggplants, varieties of chilis, squash, melons, corn, cabbage, broccoli, green peppers, potatoes and flowers for worship.
