Small sheep ranch in northern Montana offers hands-on-learning experiences. We run about 75 head of ewes for wool and lamb crops. There is need for sheep herding help in the summer, lambing help during February through April in particular. Shipping is in August. But internships accepted all year.
Other ranch activities include plantings for wildlife, fencing, farming, gardening and landscaping, building and repairs. Besides sheep, ranch animals include horses and goats.
I would welcome Helpers who have some skills in carpentry, construction, painting, driving tractors, fencing - or who want to learn. Several projects are lined up that would give a variety of experiences.
Summer and fall are wonderful times to spend in this area as time off to see Glacier Park and rodeos, fairs, other events are easily scheduled.

UPDATE: Lambing is scheduled to start this year the first of March. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn much about animal husbandry for those who have no or li... more inside

Hello potential helpers! Looking for a peaceful stay in Colorado`s Rocky Mountains in exchange for some help on our property?

UPDATE EARLY 2019: any helper with either cabinet-making or plumbing skills could come and help us with our indoor projects; we also need help with SEO/social media marketing. Then in April/May we're back to the outdoor work, weather permitting.

Another area in which help is needed: previous experience with WooCommerce stores, integrating them with an accounting system, and social media marketing would make you Rona's best friend.
