We are a very busy couple and own a fitness business in Boulder, Colorado (cheetahfit). We are looking for someone to help us with website design, software design or house cleaning, cooking and babysitting at times. We love to meet people from other cultures as we have both traveled extensively and have friends all over the world.

We just purchased an amazing modern house in Lyons, Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park. The house needs some work outside. Our house is located walking distance from downtown where there are lots of restaurants. You are also near one of the best mountain biking in the country. There are lots of hiking trails close by and our place is surrounded by nature.

You will have your own private room. We are very much into health and make mostly organic meals. We can accommodate any dietary restrictions.

We are really looking for the right person who can help us and in return we will make sure that you will have a wonderful stay.

Hello potential helpers! Looking for a peaceful stay in Colorado`s Rocky Mountains in exchange for some help on our property?

UPDATE DEC, 2018: December and January: any helper with either cabinet-making or plumbing skills could come and help us with our indoor projects. February and March, we need help with SEO/social media marketing, and designing labels, as well as anyone who is good with a sewing machine. Then in April/May we're back to the outdoor work, weather permitting.

We would be thrilled to find someone with stone and/or brick masonry skills, experience with concrete, tile setting, cabinetry, or carpentry skills. Or engineers of any kind - you engineers are always amazing!

Another area in which help is needed: previous experience with WooCommerce stores, integrating them with an accounting system, and social media marketing would make you Rona's best friend.

We may be able to use your help in landscaping/general labor shorter term, on a last minute basis only... more inside

We are a Jewish am ha` aretz family on a small organic (non-certified) farmstead in the foothills of the Rocky mountains in north-central Idaho. We are near the Clearwater River and the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. but our most special crop, and the reason we live the simple life we do, is our children.

Our goal is to raise our family in a healthy, country, close to the earth kind of way. Animals, gardening, baking, herbal remedies, natural food preservation, bio-dynamic gardening methods.... We love having volunteers, getting to know other cultures, sharing stories, and experimenting with new ideas. Plus, the help has been an amazing blessing.

Skills you could learn here, learning about fermenting breads, sourdough, baking in a cob oven, ethical poultry production and gardening, and different methods of making soils more fertile o... more inside

Looking for the perfect person to come out into the heart of the Colorado mountains and work at our colorful, funky hostel. Work with guests from around the world, Learn the ins and outs of a small business, and enjoy the activities that surround this beautiful area.

Daily tasks include checking in guests, detail oriented cleaning, taking reservations, helping with the garden, and answering phones. A commitment of at least 1 month is preferred, however, longer stays are an option.

In return we offer a place to stay, lots of gifts from the garden, and time off when you want it.

The hostel includes a large communal kitchen, living space, private and shared rooms, and of course, a large costume closet. Outside we have yard games, BBQ, fire pit, hammocks, bikes, and gardens.

The area is exceptionally beautiful, and loaded with world class biking, climbing, rafting, hiking, and skiing. We are truly "a bed between adventures".

We’re 8 minutes by bicycle to downtown, 7 minutes to the University, 5 minutes to the Bozeman Public Library, 4 minutes to two parks, 3 minutes to the Farmers Market, and just seconds (very literally, just across the street!) to miles of biking, hiking and cross-country ski trails.

WE ARE CURRENTLY looking for volunteers to join us for December and January or for one or more of the following 2019 sessions:  15 May to 31 June, 5 July to 20 August, 24 August to 7 October, and one final harvest session into late November or perhaps early December. We will also occasionally consider shorter term help.

We are currently working mostly on outbuilding and cabin construction and on planting and landscaping. Over the winter months it will mostly be indoor work and accommodation ... sheetrock, painting and renovation skills would work wonderfully.
(Normal routine is keeping the property in shape, care for the animals ( horses, Zebu cow, goats, dogs, birds, etc), continue putting up shelters, develop permaculture ideas, paint, and forge ideas to pull tourists here to this county;
including tweaking our airsoft/ paintball fields etc. Stay in a trailer.)
Wifi.
Any stay 1-21 days. Longer stay negotiable if you bring renovation skills.
Nonsmokers please (including 420 products) ... seriously! Tools can be dangerous enough.
We work until about 2 pm ( hour lunchbreak at noon) The afternoons and evenings are free. Bikes are available to use to the lake and area; excellent library. There is no public transport; it's not necessary.

The town is small and situated in SE Colorado surrounded by ranches and farming. The Rockies begin only 2 hours distant, with Colorado Springs 1 1/2 hours d... more inside

We are a 1700 acre cattle, and hay ranch with vacation rental cabins. I am 5th generation to the ranch, and I work on it during the summer with my parents, partner, a few employees and several work exchange volunteers (we can host up to 3 at a time). We mostly need help with various ranch jobs and occasionally preparing the cabins for guests. The tasks that are involved vary greatly depending on the time of year, so feel free to inquire for more information on the individual tasks. We are located in a tiny town one hour south of Jackson hole at the base of Bridger Teton national forest, an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts of all types, and a true window into the American West.
