We invite you to our house, either to visit or to stay and help out. We are currently working on building a youth hostel and game room, and need help with construction and painting of walls and murals, also fixing bicycles for the neighborhood kids as well as maintaining the pool. We have had guests from all over the world stay with us. We have also hosted high school exchange students from Spain, Macau, Germany and China.
We are in a small town of about 400 people. Nearby is a city of 19,000 people with stores, restaurants and entertainment.
Come and see the heartland of America!

Currently, I am looking for two or three healthy young men to help me move from Phoenix to Bullhead City, about 200 miles away. I prefer a commitment for one month, although I will gladly consider shorter stays.

That's basically loading up my minivan with stuff, coming with me to Bullhead City, unloading it and then heading back for more -- a one-way trip each day for as many trips as it takes. This way the moving company would only deal with the heavy furniture.

Bullhead City is a water-recreation destination on the Colorado River. Laughlin, Nevada, is across the river; California is 23 miles downstream.

Also, once my Phoenix home is empty there are some projects I want to try to prep it for sale -- mainly kitchen renovations and maybe some minor painting.

ABOUT ME: I'm a managing attorney for a major consumer-based technology/finance company. I have always worked from home (even pre-COVID) and have a relatively flexible schedule that enables me to have ample time to sp... more inside

UPDATE September 2020:We are not sensitive to the Chinese virus and spend a lot of time outdoors, getting valuable Vitamin D, we eat fermented veggies and have no TV. All guests, of course, have to make their own health decisions but we do not wear masks here. We are not a Vegetarian operation: we eat and serve: pork, beef, chicken, dairy ( all pastured and healthy).
Do you love to garden- we have great garden plots waiting for your green thumb!

Do you like the quiet of the country, where you can think and work in space and air? We have all sorts of projects that can use your loving touch. ***EVEN INDOOR help is appreicated= folks that are organized, like to clean and have office experience are considered as well as outdoor helpers.***
We have fence work, chainsaw cutting, field fence work, tractor driving over fields to mow, trim/tree burns. Feeding chickens, ducks, pigs, gathering eggs.

9/14/20 update:

I'm looking for a helper from now on, possibly long term or repeat visitor and I pay 15/hr for extra hours after a 2-week trial.

Home maintenance experience helps and I need help with cleanup, organizing, etc.

I have several people scheduled this fall. Hoping to work on the living room walls (adobe), fix the washed out driveway, prepare tent sites and I need some help in the gardens and at the Airbnb I manage (sand and paint the fence, organizing, etc.)

IMPORTANT: This is a GMO-free farm. I provide only non-GMO and as available, organic food and I don't want to see any junk food on my property. I supply Belgium chocolate, cacao, organic chips, etc.

I am very much looking forward to a MELLOW no-stress fall.

If you like cooking, some of your hours can be spent in the kitchen. I'd also like to get back to baking and fermenting, kimchi, water kefir and kombucha, dehydrate, can, etc.

I don't mind cannabis use while not working and a beer or two wh... more inside

My husband Tim and I moved out to our place in the desert in January 2008 along with our many plants. It was soon after we arrived that I got re-introduced to the miracle Moringa tree and began growing them. One thing led to another and our company was born. We have continued to grow our little farm to what it is today. We have an orchard with about 50 fruit and nut trees, an enclosed veggie garden area that is protected from wildlife, several growing structures (greenhouses in winter and shade structures in summer), and lots of projects to become more self sustainable, including solar energy production, etc.

We endeavor to provide a vast range of experiences for someone, and to offer a well balanced variety of activities that allows someone to learn as well as to contribute. As our business continues to grow, as well as the natural shift in focus / priorities that happens from season to season, our needs at various times also shift. Our most immediate need at the momen... more inside

We have a BnB in Melissa, TX, on 2 acres of land. Melissa, TX is one mile from McKinney, TX (rated the #1 city to live in the United States by Money Magazine for 2016). McKinney has a charming old downtown, complete with a town square. McKinney is only 30 minutes from Dallas, TX, and 45 from Arlington, TX. Pecan Grove is 7 bedrooms and 4 baths with a huge kitchen and a deck that is 35 x 25. We have another B&B in Arlington, TX. Home of the Dallas Cowboys, 6 Flags, The Ball Park, and other entertainment venues. It is 1 mile from the stadium and other venues.
I'd like a single person, no children or animals, or a couple to help with both the properties. You would stay in one or the other property, depending on the occupancy of paying guests. We have to have the home ready before the people arrive and then we have to clean after they leave. I need people who are flexible with their time, as some guests stay for two days and others stay a week. I can give you a website to view the prop... more inside

If this project sounds like it might interest you - Please read more, and reach out to learn more! I have lots of projects year-round and can always use a helping hand.

I am located in a sunny southern New Mexico town called Cuchillo which is considered a ghost town, although there is about 35 permanent residents. I have several historic adobe properties which date to the mid-1800s. The main property was a stagecoach stop and housed the old saloon, general store, mercantile, and hotel. I have several Airbnbs that I rent out -as well an Artist In Residence program for creatives who seek solitude.

The property is located in a small valley backed up to an immense open desert and beautiful New Mexico skies. Within half an hour from the property you can find New Mexico's largest lake, the Rio Grande, mineral hot springs, amazing hikes, wildlife, national forest, climbing, biking, mines, crystals, canyons, beautiful weather and tons of inspiration. In the spring and summer, the land... more inside

Hello! We have a lovely fixer-upper property in Benson (Southeastern Arizona) one mile north of the Amtrak train depot and Interstate 10 and 30 minutes from the Tucson International Airport. We are within half an hour drive to Kartchner Caverns, Patagonia Lake, Parker Canyon Lake, Colossal Caves, Bisbee and Tombstone. Tucson is a 40 minute trip to town. The Greyhound bus stops here, but we just found out that an Uber or Lyft may be cheaper than bus tickets for more than one person.

Our property has incredible potential, and the vision is to create a quirky/artsy Airbnb pet-friendly compound as well as a retreat for artists, writers, musicians, yogis and world travelers. The property has a large pond (waterless at the moment - which we want to fix) with cottonwood and mesquite trees and a natural spring (that dribbles about six months a year). We have our own well and a small organic garden. We use repurposed, recycled and upcycled materials as much as possible.

We live in a small, shady neighborhood a little North of Houston [convenient to the airport].
Houston is really hot this time of year, so our wish list would be help with indoor tasks- especially help with computers and technology. Because of the pandemic we would require masks +/or distancing depending on the circumstances. If you are interested but would like to wait, fine, just contact us to reserve your dates.
