Our family has been in the Carolina low-country since the 1670s, and here on this property since 1827. The farm and family have seen many changes throughout the centuries, and is looking to the future!

An experimental and educational farm/homestead, we are working to bring a high level of self-sufficiency/sustainability here and to share our knowledge with our visitors.

This is the farm's 9th year hosting visitors. Forty-six countries represented and over 375 guests staying, all have helped make the farm a better place. They have laughed, learned, sweated, plus they have help grow and have eaten some great food. We hope all that spend time here will take something positive away with them. Looking forward to another year of great helpers and guests!

I own a house converted to hostel style accommodation in Atlanta, Georgia.
You gonna meet plenty of interesting people in the hostel, enjoy southern hospitality, great location(in the heart of Midtown!) and the beauty of city overall.
Looking for female only for cleaning position(your accommodation would be a bed in shared with other females room, required hours 11am-3pm between guests check outs and check ins) If interested in farther cooperation in some time I can upgrade for longer term to managing the entire place (which would be having private room + some little pay first, higher after).
Kitchen and bathrooms are shared.

We are a retired couple looking for help with projectis around the property. Some light construction might be involved,so carpentry skills would be helpful. We live on the banks of a world famous trout stream (White River) in the north central Ozarks in Arkansas. We have a neat cabin next door to our house that would be available. Work would involve working alongside Bill doing improvement projects around the property( fence building, lean to shed construction, limb and brush removal and burning as well as other outside jobs). We plan on working an average of 20 or so hours per week depending on the weather. We will provide lodging in the cabin and a couple of meals a day in exchange for your help. We have 2 large dogs and 4 cats, so loving animals would be helpful and if we had to be gone for a short time, you might be asked to care for them. We have bicycles, canoes and kayaks available as this area is ripe with outdoor opportunities. Looking for an exchange of about a we... more inside

We are a small, family-run hostel and we want our guest to feel at home. New Orleans is known for it's easy-going atmosphere and we try to incorporate that into our quirky, artistic, science-fiction-inspired hostel.

We treat volunteers as part of our family. We try to be considerate of everyone and be as flexible as we can with scheduling around their needs.

Our small community center in the heart of New Orleans is growing and building. Thank you for your interest in helping. This is our third year to host with HelpX and its been a great! The volunteers have been a big help and our Community Center is a excellent choice for those looking for a real New Orleans local experience.

Located one block off the Bayou next to one of the largest city parks in the country with only a short bike ride to the French Quarter, we feel this is the best spot in town for a combination of nature/peace/health and city fun! We are located in Mid City which is easy access by bike trails to anywhere in New Orleans. Restaurants, music venues and grocery stores are in walking distance - some with local and organic options!

Your accommodation will be provided in an Airstream trailer, a small cabin or a private room. All with use of a community kitchen, a bicycle and a kayak. We also have safe off-street parking for those traveling and sleeping in VW vans ... more inside

We are former West Virginia farmers that moved to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2014 and then into the beautiful Tucson Sonoran desert in 2018. We bought a 1.25 acre property close to the Saguaro Park that was completely overrun with cholla and prickly pear. We no longer garden because it's just not practical but my farmer genes compell me to tidy things up:) the jumping cholla is my enemy because I need to keep my little dog and 2 horses safe from it! We live in a small home now and can only host travelers that have their own van or sleeping arrangements. We can share kitchen and bathroom access and of course you are welcome to hang out in the house with us. I would love to have help taming my wilderness/outdoor spaces. This will mainly involve triming prickly pear, taking out cholla, some small brush removal, and helping me haul it to the dump.
While you stay with us you can enjoy our southwestern climate and innumerable hiking trails, parks, and desert vistas. We live in a rural area w... more inside

I just bought an empty lot with a friend. We want to turn the property into a tiny house village.

If you have interests in tiny houses, carpentry, gardening, interior design, or just want to see the greatest city in america, new orleans, then you've found the right place.

In exchange for work once to 4 times a week, I can offer an infinite amount of housing and possibly food, depending. If you have zero skills and can assist with grabbing tools and giving me advice then I can house you as well. I am not picky. There has been a few people who never did any work due to lack of opportunity, and I was perfectly OK with that. They were still willing to help and that's the biggest part.

No emails. Text is best. Call if you must.

We are a gay male couple with a three bedroom two bath house in a residential area of Hollywood, FL. We are 4 miles to the beach in Hollywood, 10 miles south of Ft. Lauderdale and 25 miles north of Miami.
You really have to be an animal lover because we have two weimaraners, and a ball python.
You also have to be completely SMOKE-FREE. While we respect your right to smoke, we don't want you to share its effects with us, our pets, or our rooms. Therefore we accept only NON-SMOKING guests. This is more than just a non-smoking policy for our property. This means non-smoking during your entire stay with us, on and off our property.
Public transportation is available although not as sophisticated as in some larger cities. Our neighborhood is extremely safe and we have lovely neighbors. We also have a hot tub that is great at the end of the day--and clothing optional.
We're mostly looking for just general work around the house and especially in the yard. We have a large yard ... more inside
