We are a fun easy going, professional family in Sarasota Florida. We are Painting, doing rrenovation projects, gardening and general moving and cleaning things. It is a great place to stay while exploring. We still need help. Our yard offers several parking areas for an RV or Van, back yard camping also considered. You would have your own private room in the house and share the rest of the place.

We are a gay male couple with a three bedroom two bath house in a residential area of Hollywood, FL. We are 4 miles to the beach in Hollywood, 10 miles south of Ft. Lauderdale and 25 miles north of Miami.
You really have to be an animal lover because we have two weimaraners, and a ball python.
You also have to be completely SMOKE-FREE. While we respect your right to smoke, we don't want you to share its effects with us, our pets, or our rooms. Therefore we accept only NON-SMOKING guests. This is more than just a non-smoking policy for our property. This means non-smoking during your entire stay with us, on and off our property.
Public transportation is available although not as sophisticated as in some larger cities. Our neighborhood is extremely safe and we have lovely neighbors. We also have a hot tub that is great at the end of the day--and clothing optional.
We're mostly looking for just general work around the house and especially in the yard. We have a large yard ... more inside

UPDATE: Deck is finally finished (except for railings)& Hot Tub in. Next build project is new pen for chickens, and remodeling inside of house to do. We’d like to clear up space for a tv area downstairs by the wood stove and create a space for another private intern room.

We sell at our local farmers markets on Saturdays, May to October. Online Market is open Year Round. Friday’s are baking day here on the farm. I make sourdough bread, and gluten free crackers that I sell at the farmers market. Tuesdays, the Ole Farmhouse and ceramics studio are open from 10-4.

Farm work always has something to be done and we love having interns who are interested in a cultural exchange, teaching us about their way of life and learning our way.

Our family has been in the Carolina low-country since the 1670s, and here on this property since 1827. The farm and family have seen many changes throughout the centuries, and is looking to the future!

An experimental and educational farm/homestead, we are working to bring a high level of self-sufficiency/sustainability here and to share our knowledge with our visitors.

This is the farm's 9th year hosting visitors. Forty-six countries represented and over 375 guests staying, all have helped make the farm a better place. They have laughed, learned, sweated, plus they have help grow and have eaten some great food. We hope all that spend time here will take something positive away with them. Looking forward to another year of great helpers and guests!

We are a small, family-run hostel and we want our guest to feel at home. New Orleans is known for it's easy-going atmosphere and we try to incorporate that into our quirky, artistic, science-fiction-inspired hostel.

We treat volunteers as part of our family. We try to be considerate of everyone and be as flexible as we can with scheduling around their needs.

My husband and I have a small farm, about 60 miles north of Nashville that has a lot of growing to do. We raise sheep and have two donkeys and no children. We hope for cultural exchanges along with 4 to 5 hours of help 5 days out of the week, not including meal prep and clean-up. Winter upon us, fertilizing and trimming bushes around farm needs to be done. I also want to plan and implement to make another water cistern to help with the ever growing water needs.
We are currently working on an outside shower supplied by filtered rain water, that will be amazing to use.
Our recent somewhat lengthy trip to New Zealand is where we learned so much about sustainability. This trip opened up a world of ideas needed to live on our own with very little outside intervention.
We are working on a small greenhouse, and a small seeding greenhouse.
We have recently upgraded our wood working tools to “top of the line”,if anyone has the passion and or skill to use them. If you have an intere... more inside

Looking for assistance in developing a homestead that also serves as a healing sanctuary for those on a spiritual journey or looking to mend a broken heart. The land has a way of holding space for both.

The property is located in SW Louisiana, 3 hours from New Orleans and 2.5 hours from Houston. The property is 2 acres with a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath country home.

We have accomplished much over the last 5 years There is still much more to do. No two days will be the same. I try to balance projects so they are not mundane.

I need assistance in small remolding projects, building walking paths, outdoor projects, gardening, general inside cleaning and organizing. Also looking for those creative souls...:) Ready to start a wine bottle wall. I have hundreds I have collected, some I earned some were donated. Also looking for anyone with web design, SEO, or other online skills. Have tons of fabric for some sewing projects around the homestead.

I have taken a sabbatical from New O... more inside

Hi, I'm looking for someone to help in starting a suburban organic container garden. Also a house-sitter, as I spend two or three nights per week in hotels because of work. Recently sold a large plot of land, and I miss having fresh fruits and vegetables. I earned a Master Gardener Certificate in Fort Bend County, so growing veggies isn't a problem. Finding the time to do it is... I just bought some fruit trees to plant, and I would love to have an edible landscape again. My home is near several parks and lakes. You would have your own room, private bath with supplies, access to kitchen and laundry. I'll provide the food, but you'll need to cook for yourself. (Trust me on that advice...) I eat a mostly plant-based diet.

This is a suburban setting with close access to all amenities. But there's nothing within walking distance. I have a bike and a car you can borrow from time to time. But you'll need a drivers license. I have a full-time job, and can't ferry you around during the ... more inside

We are a friendly expat couple new in to Austin, Texas and are enjoying getting to know their new city.

Our names are Elley and Neil. We are both experienced travelers who enjoy sharing cultural experiences and have routinely hosted backpackers/travelers. We`ve also hosted foreign language students and love to practice our French and Spanish, amongst other languages. We enjoy sharing our home with people who like to travel and share stories of their adventures.

Austin is a fantastic city with lots to do. It's especially known for its great music scene not to mention great vibe. Lots of places to explore with so much to do. And it's also only 1.5 hours to places like the historical city of San Antonio.

WHAT WE NEED.

We’d really like someone with great organisational skills! And we like people who are outgoing, energetic, open-minded and hard working.

Admin, marketing, social media, P.A and any other relevant business and organisational skills would be appreciated. Pl... more inside
