We live in the historic Rondout neighborhood of Kingston, NY. I am looking for people with experience related to home repairs and improvements, as well as gardeners.

You would have a private bedroom, and shared use of the common areas of the house. This arrangement would not include meals. However, you would be welcome to use any secondary ingredients, as well as coffee and tea.

We have a dog and three cats.

Hello Future HelpXers! My farm is on 40 acres that is wooded and pasture. There are a few cows and laying hens. It is situated on a hill and has a lovely pastoral view of the green mountains as well as mountains in Massachusetts.

My focus for 2020 WWOOFers is to have help with three campsites that I rent through Airbnb, Tentrr, and HipCamp. They are situated at the top of my property and have been very successful so far. They are busy from June the end of October. All weekends tend to be booked for Friday and Saturday and most weeks have one or two nights during the week that will be booked. This year they have been busy most of the week. Here is the Airbnb website for each tent. Tent 1 and Tent 2 and the third is not up yet. I am currently building the last structure, glasshouse. I am hoping to find someone for July 28 - October but am flexible. If you would like to come before that and stay in a tent, you are welcome to do that. I could use help with the stru... more inside

Hello everyone!
Anyone interested in helping get my yard in order???
I was gone for 7 months and have returned to 2 acres of serious yard work.I returned back in July so the pool is open and I've managed to do quite a bit but I was just mowing the lawn today and was overwhelmed by all that needs to be done. This is my moms place and she has a grass cutting service but there are limbs down that need to be cut up and lugged away, trees that need trimming, dead trees that need to be cut down, weeds that need to be pulled... the list goes on. The gazebo, pool deck and shed need to be treated.
For someone who is good at building things. There's an old metal gazebo in the shed that I'd like to put on the pool and I'd like to design a bar or something for the pool deck using the leftover material from the deck. It's new last year.
Anyway... could really use the help for anyone who is in the States and can get to Philly.
We'll work and enjoy the pool each day. I'm a really go... more inside

Hello I am Pablo. I am a multi-media assemblage and installation artist, who had been living and working in Berlin, Paris and New York for almost 25 years. During a portion of that period of time I acquired a quaint farm in rural NE Germany where we hosted many HelpXers for several seasons.

I have since relocated the project to beautiful coastal Maine. The space is located in the picturesque Cobscock Bay area, which is home to Eastport and Lubec, the easternmost city and town in the USA, respectively. Additionally, the border crossing to Canada is approximately 5 miles from our doorstep.

In order to prepare the space for our artist-in-residency program, we are concentrating our HelpX projects on renovating some of the buildings to artist live / work spaces. Another project is to convert a bunkhouse to a small first floor art gallery with upstairs artist studio. At present we have three facilities located in Pembroke, Eastport and the fishing village of Jonesport.

Openings for 2020 start June and go through the summer and perhaps into fall!

We live on beautiful land on top of a hill with great views.

What I am most looking for is help care-taking the house (cooking and cleaning) and land (mowing), as well as rides for my son and me in my car. This means independent workers with an eye for neatness to bring the grounds and home to order and maintain that order. Some tend to prefer indoor or outdoor work, and that is fine. Simply let me know where your passions lie.

In addition to basic house maintenance it is always lovely to meet up with people passionate about natural building as we flesh out and remodel the house:

This coming summer's projects will focus on:
* finishing putting up the cedar shingle siding on the addition
* finishing framing out the interior of the addition for a few walls and for the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry
* building a more luxurious composting toilet setup inside
* framing out the wall for the s... more inside

Unheated Sleeping spaces. Tasks:garden mulching , building, yard work, some painting.
I work often as the town librarian. So we are often out and you would have time on your own. You may make your schedule.
We have light carpentry projects in the works, which you may help on depending on where we are at with them. One is a chicken pen, a tiny house and the other is installing a composting toilet room.
The house is private from the Guests space. Masks and social distancing a must. You will have to quarantine for two weeks and cook your own meals. We will provide simple food : grains ,tea , water, Fruit, and vegetables and eggs. A vegan diet. It will be your responsibility to keep your outdoor cooking and washing area clean and tidy.
My small rural solar homestead is in the beautiful Monadnock region of New Hampshire. I have an extensive garden of herbs, flowers and vegetables, chickens, and a wood lot. I do teas, tinctures, balms and cordials with the herbs and can and ferment t... more inside

I have a two family house about 10 minutes north of Boston by car. It's on the bus line, as well as a short walk to the subway. The work is some outside maintenance, some dog walking, some small painting projects, gardening, sewing, organizing, cleaning... I am seeking a helpxer or two. Mostly right now, it will be work outside, depending on the weather. lots of gardening. Creativity is welcomed, as I have approximately 32 art projects planned for this spring and summer. Id like to build a pizza oven in my back yard, make birdhouses, and a large figure(maybe an insect) from repurposed/recycled materials. I also plan on clearing out my basement this summer and need help with that- its full of tools and ...stuff. Lots o stuff.
I am a licensed mental health counselor and teacher, newly retired but still working part-time. Also, Im newly vegan(well, now as of June, really pescatarian & vegetarian) and experimenting with tasty recipes. My daughter is 30 and has boomera... more inside
