Hi, we are a busy hostel in Quito, Ecuador. We need volunteers to help us with daily duties such as reception and light cleaning. We are not open 24 hours so you do not have to work the night shift.

In exchange you get dinner (vegetables, meats, salads) every day and a bed in a dorm room. You can use the WIFI and all our public areas. The working hours are five hours per day, 5 days, which means that every 6th day is off. Choosing your shift is pretty flexible.

This is a small hostel with a capacity for 22 people. It is a chilled out hostel in the historical part of Quito.

Quito offers a lot of activities for your leisure time. Explore the Historical Center, take the cable car and enjoy a fantastic view of the city, make a day trip to Cotopaxi, or visit the equator line at Mitad del Mundo.

Hello! We are Charlotte (USA) and Christian (Ecuador), and we have an Ecoculturual Finca outside of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, Ecuador. The Finca is about 8 hectares of hilly jungle, filled with cacao, banana, avocado, papaya, coffee, bamboo, sugar cane, and other tropical fruit trees. Christian started this project in 2012 to create a community of people who want to live consciously and in harmony with the natural world. We believe sustainability has an environmental component (we eat vegetarian, use composting toilets, minimize waste, use resources we have on the finca, etc), but that it also has a cultural component; infusing art, cultural exchange, genuine connection, music, intergenerational sharing, and creative problem solving into daily life is important to living sustainably! The hope is that by starting small, by living well on the finca, we can spread an environmental consciousness to our surrounding community, and hopefully beyond.

We are startíng a small guest house complex directly on the beach in Engabao, a fishing and surfing town located 15 km from Playas and 1 hour from Guayaquil. The guesthouse consists of furnished 1 and 2 bedroom suites with completely equipped kitchens, hot water and DirectTV. There is a pool and gazebo overlooking the ocean. At present help is mainly needed with construction, painting, landscaping and out door cleaning, while from Dec. to May there may be housekeeping, attending guests, and caring for plants. Helpers work for 4 hours a day with 2 days off midweek and live in one of the suites. They are responsible for preparing their own meals. There's plenty of time for lounging around the pool, enjoying the beach or surfing. We need people who can work without supervision and enjoy nature. We are on a beautiful out of the way beach which generally has tourists only on holidays.

In 2006 I came to Mompiche a fell in love with
this magical, beautiful village, moved here and started to build my dream house. It is a five-story bamboo house, built like a wedding cake. The top floor has a spectacular 360-degree view, with views from the shower and the toilet too!
Mompiche is a quaint fishing village with a pristine 40-mile crescent moon bay. From October to April there are world-class waves, attracting surfers from around the world. It is surrounded by jungle with monkeys and tons of birds, including toucans and parrots.
I am a MassageTharepist from Esselen, Big Sur, California with more than 40 years of experience.

Hola!

We have availability for most of the year (2019 and 2020) but are in gretaer need of a house sitter volunteer in April.

A fantastic opportunity to live and work for an established horse riding company, Ride Andes, in Ecuador. Our farm is located about 30 minutes NE of the city of Cayambe and has a breathtaking view. We currently have 15 horses (unstabled) and 3 dogs. For 15 years, Ride Andes has run thanks to the help of amazing volunteers. You will stay on the farm in an idyllic location, helping us to care for our animals and property in exchange for room and board, with the potential to earn a salary for those who stay longer and/or have the right skills sets!

We currently have 2 “types” of volunteers that we are searching for: 1. A riding volunteer 2. A house/dog sitting/eco-project volunteer. Please read ALL the information below and contact us if you have any questions or if you’d like to apply!
