Our Hostel is a brand-new Hostel in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas; Mexico.

San Cristobal de Las Casas has been awarded as the Most Magical Village in Mexico for 2011 and 2012, so the city can offer so many different ways to live: culture, arts, music, nature and a great chance to meet people from all around the world and to share experiences.

Our Hostel is just 2 blocks from mainsquare and offer different services in and out the place: hosting, tours, temazcal. Our place is an old big neoclassic arquitecture house, with a beautiful big garden with temazcal (mayan sauna), hammocks and a brand-new terrace with a 360 grades view from the city.

We are looking for 6-8 people to help us in the Hostel with these main activities: reception (welcome guests, take them to their rooms, offer our tours, etc), rooms/beds cleaning, laundry, night shifts, hostel promotion at the bus station, campfire nights, in-place events and the mor... more inside

We have two sites. One is in an urban setting (Urban) in Cuernavaca, and the other is located in the rural area of Miacatlan Morelos (Rural), next to Xochicalco, close to Cacahuamilpa caves, Taxco, and South of Mexico City.

We are building our version of an Earthship with a green house. The Earthship is to house several vital cycles. A vital cycle is based on a water cycle where the plant kingdom and animal kingdom sustain each other. In our cycle we have fish whose droppings nourish the plants. The plants are rice, azolla, and lettuce mostly.

Hello! We live in a small and beautiful mountain village in the south of Oaxaca, South Mexico. We consider our community to be made up of the few international residents and the local Zapotecs of the village. We the foreigners live as a friendly group with various diverse projects, but not as an intentional one - we function as distinct individuals and nuclear families, with good relationships with the locals.

I, Anisha, am of Indian-English origin, 36 years old). I have lived in the village for around 10 years.

From October 2017 I have opened the doors to people who are interested in volunteering on a work exchange programme basis. I offer accommodation, firewood and the majority of the food.

Here in San Sebastian, the space (www.proyectoayachauite.blogspot.com) is passionate about finding the common ground between cultures, and discovering what we can learn from each other to deepen our interconnectedness. Where friendship, ecology, art, community and economy can form... more inside

I have an organic garden on a 20 hectare property in the state of Yucatan by the Gulf of Mexico near the beautiful fishing village of San Felipe. I have a degree in electrical engineering and I developed many ways to be self-sufficient. I cook solar-electric, with a rice cooker connected directly to 4 small solar panels and I also cook with a wood burning rocket stove. At "Hacienda Santa Maria" you can learn how to live in a civilized way on just a few dollars a day. I will show you how to mostly live off the Sun and how I build a beautiful concrete block house for about the price of a car using my invention "Horsy". Learn how to control weeds without chemicals, naturally fertilize the irrigation water and make any crop use 5 times less water while also eliminating soil erosion using "Rock culture". I live without a fridge and eat fresh food instead. At "The University of Santa Maria" you can learn everything you need to know to prosper, even during a major economic downturn.
