My name is Victor and I have been teaching English to young people from my community for 8 years. I have a small school in downtown Tehuantepec near the market, banks, restaurants, and the tropical forest full of coconuts, bananas, and mangoes. Tehuantepec is located 20 minutes from the ocean beach community, Salina Cruz. I am located only a five minutes taxi ride from the local bus station.

I am looking for one person at a time to come and work with my students, which includes conversing with my students and teaching if you are able to. My students need more practice talking to people who speak fluent and clear english. I ask for five or six hours a day working with my students and in return I offer a place for you to sleep and one meal a day and a tour around the city to show you my local culture. You can stay for a minimum one week and a maximum of two weeks, but we can make a deal if it works out and you want to stay longer.NOTE; at the moment im just receiving couples

Our Hostel is a brand-new Hostel in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas; Mexico.

We opened our doors back on November 20th, 2012. San Cristobal de Las Casas has been awarded as the Most Magical Village in Mexico for 2011 and 2012, so the city can offer so many different ways to live: culture, arts, music, nature and a great chance to meet people from all around the world and to share experiences.

Our Hostel is just 2 blocks from mainsquare and offer different services in and out the place: hosting, tours, temazcal. Our place is an old big neoclassic arquitecture house, with a beautiful big garden with temazcal (mayan sauna), hammocks and a brand-new terrace with a 360 grades view from the city.

We are looking for 6-8 people to help us in the Hostel with these main activities: reception (welcome guests, take them to their rooms, offer our tours, etc), rooms/beds cleaning, laundry, night shifts, hostel promotion at the bus station, campfire nights, in-place events and the mor... more inside

I'm building an off the grid urban property, in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, where I have lived for the past 25 years. After spending this summer helpxing across Europe, I decided to do a little hosting myself. I have a small 200 sq meter lot with fruit trees, and some very basic construction, located 15 min. walk from the jardin. My dream is to make it into an urban oasis, that serves as a small eco-hostel, with a yoga, dance and well being center. At present I live 15 Minutes in the opposite direction, and this is where any helpxer might stay, in my home, where we would have breakfast together, maybe some yoga and then head to the land for a solid 4 to 5 hours of work, painting, gardening, building, cleaning, sewing etc. Then a good meal together at about 2.00pm after which you are on your own to explore San Miguel. 1 week minimum please.

About 30km north of Ixtapa, and Zihuatanejo, on Mexico's gorgeous Pacific coast, is a small gathering of surf spots known as ondas hermosas. We built our retreat in the heart of this area, removed from the tourist hustle and steps from the sand. Like the locale, our hostel has a relaxed, natural atmosphere, but also offers state-of-the-art amenities and full-service comfort. We are not the average hostel.

Designed to coexist with nature, the Hostel has tropical landscaping and amazing views. It's also completely private, with enclosed grounds and natural energy features that support the environment. We utilize a grey water system, and the latest technology in composting toilets.

We are looking for different on-site volunteers to help us. The positions are:

1. Receptionist/host: Help us with the daily tasks. Managing reservations, showing the people around, answer all questions from the guests and promoting the hostel.

2. Bio-construction: Help building rooms with bio... more inside

I have an organic garden on a 20 hectare property in the state of Yucatan by the Gulf of Mexico near the beautiful fishing village of San Felipe. I have a degree in engineering and I developed many ways to be self-sufficient. From highly efficient solar-electric devices to a super efficient wood burning cooking stove that seems to amaze everyone. For convenience I also can cook solar-electric with an insulated "one button" rice cooker and four 50 watt solar panels connected in series. At "Hacienda Santa Maria" you can learn how to live in a civilized way on just a few dollars a day. I will show you how to mostly live off the Sun and how I build a concrete house for about the price of a car using my invention "Horsy". Learn how to control weeds without chemicals, naturally fertilize the irrigation water and make any crop use 5 times less water while also eliminating soil erosion using "Rock culture". Learn how to make tiles, concrete furniture, a solar oven, a solar water heater. Liv... more inside

I am looking for volunteers to help keep the place in shape, mostly watering plants and takings care of the dogs, only a couple of hours, everyday, 14 hours a week. We wont be asking volunteers to perform any heavy jobs.
If you don't like dogs this is not for you.
We would rather host couples or just two friends, so you can share a tent.
The tents are big 9 m2 and have a double or 2 twin matress, fan, light, power supply and they are all blackout. If the weather doesn't permit camping, we will offer appropriate accomodation.
Any mother tongue is welcome, but we value the effort to learn other languages, so don't contact us if you only speak English and you not making any effort to speak native languages when traveling.
Welcome to Naranja Lima.

We live on an off the grid, seasonal homestead located on the Central Coast of Baja California, Mexico. We are 1.5 hours driving, North of Guerrero Negro, 7 hours South of Ensenada off of Hwy 1 West 15km on an asphalt road to the town of Punta Santa Rosalillita, a small fishing community with around 350 inhabitants. Vista Cedros is located 8km North of PSR on a dirt road to Punta San Andreas. We have one year round neighbor, 1km away, and a ranch 3 km away.

We have a shower room, a guest room and the main house and are about 3/4 finished with the project. Our work is focussed on alternative methods of construction. At the moment, work is related to mixing adobe mud, prepping mud, cutting straw, sifting clay and sand, plastering with mineral lime plaster, sanding wood floors, hauling car tires, moving earth, painting, etc. No shortage of work, I think.

The beach and ocean are a 5 min walk down the arroyo, through sand dunes, on to a long sandy beach with a rocky headland.
