We are a a small non-profit organization located in the low income district of La Esperanza in Trujillo, Peru our mission is to improve the quality of children`s life trough education and help dogs from the streets. Currently we have two projects running. the dogshelter and teaching english program.

TEACHING ENGLISH PROGRAM

Because public education in Peru significantly lacks funding, and the majority of the community cannot afford private schooling, the members of our community have very few opportunities for education. Thus, children are born into poverty and few are ever able to rise up and become empowered. Recognizing that many members of La Esperanza are born into this type of poverty and have few job opportunities, our organization`s founders decided to broaden the horizons of our friends and neighbors through providing education.

There is no greater freedom than knowledge. This belief defines the philosophy at our organization which offers English clas... more inside

This is a youth soccer club, here in Huanchaco beach, Peru, for boys aged 7 to 16. The main goal of the club is to develop and place young talents on the U15 Peruvian National Team. The players are selected for their talent to form an elite team. The long-term plan of this club is to help develop the players so that they can play at the highest professional and national levels. As well as focusing on technical development, we place great emphasis on inculcating them with positive values.
We believe that being a good person is as important as being a good soccer player and that these skills can help them overcome the situations that they are often presented with. This is one of the major reasons why we are seeking volunteers. By creating a positive environment, our players thrive. The success of this approach can be seen by the fact that the majority of our first generation players (1998/99) are now playing at both the national and international levels.

I am currently living in a valley right next yo a nice town called Cajabamba in Cajamarca. I have a piece of land where I have started to plant fruit trees. I live a simple happy life being within nature and I feel very connected to it. I love animals and minimalistic living.
I know this lovely area where I can take my guests for nice hikes and visits to nearby hotsprings.
I am a Spanish-English teacher. I taught Spanish in Europe for four years and then I moved to the mountains in Peru in 2016. Presently I am teaching Spanish on line.

- I need help with my fruit trees, some weeding, watering, wood chopping and prunning. Or just practicing English with me and a few students of mine is of great help.

- My place is basic but with all the basics you need :)

- room and dinner is on me.

Our hostel is located in the heart of Huaraz, the trekking and mountaineering capital of Peru, nestled in the beautiful, glacier-clad mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. Here you are surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes, enchanting Andean culture, and adventurers from all over the world.

We are looking for an organized and responsible volunteer (or two!) to help out at the hostel for a minimum of one month. However, the longer you can stay the better!

Volunteer duties include:

• Checking in & out of guests
• Organizing reservations
• General cleaning and maintenance
• Basic bookkeeping
• Coordination & communication with clients

You would work six days a week, and the hours are pretty flexible day-to-day. The volunteer will, however, need to be available early in the morning when the majority of the clients arrive to town for check-in.

In exchange for your help, we offer the following:

• Room & board
• Breakfast
• Free day tours with our agency (i.e... more inside

Welcome to the jungle! We are a private conservation area (Área de Conservación Privada - ACP) in the San Martin region. Our ACP is 14 hectares of restored tropical forest, conveniently located 15 minutes away from Tarapoto's city center and airport. Legally recognized as an ACP in 2010, we have been working hard to protect this ecosystem from urban sprawl. Fresh, cold water gurgles up from a spring on our land and the restored vegetation keeps that water flowing and uncontaminated. Our property is home to over 500 species of trees and 100 species of birds throughout the year. Monkeys, toucans, and possums migrate through our forest, and a small family of water turtles live in our spring. We hope to lead by example and prove to the surrounding communities that it is possible to coexist with nature without plundering her resources.

We have six bungalows that we use for ecotourism. Guests come for yoga retreats, detoxes, Reiki initiation, vegetarian cooking course vacation, medicin... more inside
