Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we will concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help six public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai.

The first semester starts in mid-May until the end of September.

The second semester starts around the 1st of November and lasts until the end of February.

We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start in early December 2019. We are looking for volunteers to teach English only and are available to stay at least eight weeks. We would love to have candidates who will stay for a whole semester or even a year, if possible. Couples are welcome as well.

NOTE: We do not charge volunte... more inside

If everybody makes a difference, the world will be different - Owen Geiger

Our Project is located outside a little village in the northeast of Thailand. Well off the beaten track of tourism we offer an opportunity for everybody to join in a fascinating project where we combine vipassana meditation, yoga, natural building and ecological gardening (especially permaculture) to a system of personal growth and care for nature. We want to show that the path inside and sustainable living can be very lively, joyful and fun. We rock the garden!

Our project is deeply rooted in the Thai community, so you can experience an authentic insight into Thai culture and really be part of it. Our teacher is the Abbot of a Monastery in the nearest city and as such, living mindfully and observing the Buddha`s teaching is very much at the heart of this project. We have a deep connection with the village monastery and the Buddhist community and enjoy sharing in ceremonies and festivals together. Each... more inside

Need your hands to help out
our Home Stay, a place to play,to prey,to lay and to say as a"PARADISE JUNGLE"

Wichai, a retired Art Teacher and his wife Naiyana, a retired Biology teacher, their son Akapong with his wife Sao and also their daughter Earn and her little princess Jasmin. A local South Thai family with a passion for nature.

The reforestation eco project in South Thailand Surat Thani started 40 years ago when Wichai inherited a portion of his fathers land. This was the site of an abandoned tin mine. The former Rain Forest was devastated and no trees were to be found, only sand and the pit.

All the neighbors and much of the South Thailand, Bannasan district are full of rubber and palm oil monoculture. Sacrificing the Biodiversity of this once Jungle. The now reforested polyculture is once again teaming with biodiversity and the ecosystem has been reborn. Different plants can grow and support each other making a sustainable perfect balance.

Hello! I´m Tongtoy, 23 years old, from the lovely city Chiang Rai and I invite you to my house to become a part of my family.
Noticing the lack of practical use of English in public schools in Thailand I decided to open a school with focus on communication instead of grammar and reading. This is where I need your help!
Your task will be mainly just speaking with my students person to person, but also in group discussions. I will mostly do the teaching part, so you don´t have to focus on that, but just having conversations about any topic you like. Classes vary from very young children (students from primary school) to seniors so you should be able to communicate with people from all ages.
My students are always happy to become friends with my volunteers and also like to spend time with them outside of class having coffee together or showing them beautiful temples and the most remote waterfalls! So if you´re looking to make some good friendships with local people don´t hesitate to... more inside

======= ============ =============

The idea first came to two friends. Take privately owned land that was meant for commercial use, and return it to nature, while at the same time making it financially viable to do so, and support a team of people who live on site. Basically protecting nature, while yet ensuring financial sustainability. The result was the OurLand Nature Reserve, thailands first privately owned nature reserve, which was setup in late 2015. Currently a small 4 member team lives on site full time, along with volunteers who come stay for short periods.

The reserve covers an area of about 15 acres and is the last wildlife corridoor in the lower half of the Salakphra Wildlife Sanctuary (Kanchanaburi). Located next to an abandoned housing ... more inside

Looking for someone who can start at around 01th November to 30th November , 2019 and forward :D

Hi everyone! Greetings from Boi! I own a small and cosy resort called Pano with 4 bungalows on Koh Mak island, near Koh Chang. I am looking for someone to help out at the front desk, serve in our restaurant and behind the bar, sometimes help with light cleaning with our lovely local stuffs (but not everyday). And of course, we are always here to share the responsibilities.

Life in Koh Mak can be really relaxing as everyone here is for holidays. Visitors should be ready to chill out. This small island has no ATM, no 7/11. We have no anything that's not local. So be prepared to bring anything you can't live without from the mainland.

Both ability to ride a motorbike and speak fluent English are a big plus. Also I would love if someone could stay over 2 weeks but am willing to deal with less.

In exchange for your help we will provide a private fan room with a queen-si... more inside

Organic orchards and nature sanctuary which is part of a conservation and organic farming project. We focus on nature farming, following many principles of permaculture. It is attached to a Resort and Spa and helpers are given board at the resort in return for five hours work a day, six days a week. We charge 150 Thai Baht per day per person as a contribution towards meals. The minimum stay is one week and we usually take workers for up to two weeks. The work we assign depends on what needs doing at the time and the experience and skills of the worker. Mostly it is working at the farm or in the gardens but sometimes we ask people to help out with guests - eg serving in the cafe and sometimes to help out with creative projects. I am always interested in hearing from people with artistic skills.

You are welcome to learn about: gardening and permaculture, building, ecology, cooking, forestry, housekeeping, thai music, herbal medicine, meditation + buddhist thougts.

Your life here will be full of learning, great new experiences, love and happiness.

Following the idea, that learning by doing is the best way to learn, every volunteer is asked to help working in the farm for at least 4 hours a day. 2 In the morning and 2 in afternoon.
We live here as brother and sister and follow the basic rules of buddhism:

We dont steal
We dont lie
We dont speak to much
We leave our selfishness behind
We dont drink alcohol
No sexual interactions between brother and sister (except for couples)

Yoga and Meditation is very important in daily life here so every volunteer is welcomed to learn about this.

Helping out in our small volunteer based charity organization is very rewarding, but can be challenging both physically and mentally. With that being said – you can learn so much personally and professionally during your time here! You'll be having fun with all the animals and other volunteers, in addition to living on beautiful Koh Samui, experiencing Thai culture and food at its best.

What else...

We are looking for hardworking, trustworthy and enthusiastic people - this experience is like no other, you will surely fall in love with our little piece of animal heaven!
