Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we will concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children. At present, we aim to help six public elementary schools (grades 1 - 6) close to Chiang Mai.

The first semester starts in mid-May until the end of September.

The second semester starts at around the 1st of November and lasts until the end of February.

We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available to start in mid-May 2019. We are looking for volunteers to teach English only and are available to stay at least eight weeks. We would love to have candidates who will stay for a whole semester or even a year, if possible. Couples are welcome as well.

NOTE: We do not charge volunteers ... more inside

Hi, my name is Wat and my wife's name is Poh. We have 2 boys, Wichai (age 11) and Suwicha (age 7).

________________________________________________

We live in a small Karen village called Huay Khao Lip in the Mae Wang area just outside of Chiang Mai city (around 1.5 hours drive from the city).

We need help with farming work and building and we invite volunteers to come and stay in our farm.

HelpX'ers may be required to help out with tourists (trekking) who occasionally come to stay overnight at our bungalows.

In exchange for your help, we can teach you about Karen culture and cooking, and on days off show you around the local area. There are many waterfalls and trekking trails close by our home.

Our extended family also help out on the farm including Poh's brother Lek, Poh's Mum 'Moogah' and Wat's Father 'Uncle'.

You also might have the opportunity to visit the primary school that Wat's 2 sons attend.

We are taking volunteers from March to
September.
I am particularly looking for volunteers who can commit to at least 2 weeks to help make a mosaic floor for my porch.
We are building roundhouses using natural and local materials. However, at this time of the year help is also needed in the garden. We are chemical free and use permaculture principals.
This area is very beautiful and peaceful and the local people friendly and helpful. Time off to see the sites is recommended!

Hello!
We (Nic&Tippy) are two females who met on this Island two years ago as travellers. We had the dream to come back and built a Yoga Retreat and Health Food Cafe. Tippy is originally from Bangkok and went to do a Yoga teacher training in India while Nic continued traveling and learning about food and hospitality. Now we are both back on Phayam to make this dream come true. We are living in exact the same property where we met two years ago and putting a lot of work and love into this place to be ready. It is a lot of work for the two of us so we are looking for some creative and easy going helpers who have passion for food, surf, yoga and nature. This Place is in the jungle, only 5 Minutes walk away from the Main beach. If you feel like you could be a helping hand please get in touch. We are only open for the dry season, which is October-May!

Looking for someone who can start at around 28th April to 30th May , 2019 and forward :D

Hi everyone! Greetings from Boi! I own a small and cosy resort called Pano with 4 bungalows on Koh Mak island, near Koh Chang. I am looking for someone to help out at the front desk, serve in our restaurant and behind the bar, sometimes help with light cleaning with our lovely local stuffs (but not everyday). And of course, we are always here to share the responsibilities.

Life in Koh Mak can be really relaxing as everyone here is for holidays. Visitors should be ready to chill out. This small island has no ATM, no 7/11. We have no anything that's not local. So be prepared to bring anything you can't live without from the mainland.

Both ability to ride a motorbike and speak fluent English are a big plus. Also I would love if someone could stay over 2 weeks but am willing to deal with less.

In exchange for your help we will provide a private fan room with a queen-sized mattres... more inside

We are a utopic project open to all dreamers who are willing to live in harmony with Mother Nature to grow and flourish together.
Our primary goal is self-sufficiency: we wish to produce our own food, water, and energy.

By "here" we mean this small piece of land near the Khao Sok river where we have built the village, the 1st base-camp of our ever-growing community: a newborn eco-village in the very first phase of creating living spaces.
The village provides accommodation for tourists and travelers, a place to live for residents, and a refreshing stop for collaborators and people of good will.
We have our own water supply, our vegetable garden, and chicken farm. We also have 7 comfortable bamboo huts, 3 tents and a large dormitory is currently under construction.
And much more to come.
