Hello everyone! - Ayubowan everyone!

My name is Lahiru. Pleased to meet you!
I run a family organic farm, located in Pitawala.(knuckles mountain range)

In our farm, we cultivate vegetables and herbs.
We sell our products mainly to local markets / supermarkets, and also to local people living around the farm.

My uncles, my aunts, my mum and I run the organic farm since August 2014. It was a 'normal' farm before.
We all have ecological and agriculture focuses. Indeed, the agriculture ideology is in our blood for generations. I developped the organic concept a few years back.
A few months ago, we started to have some organic eggs. We are trying to improve the sector.

We are now looking for people who are able to share their knowledge about:
- organic agriculture,
- or agriculture, in general,
- or any ecological system(s).
In our farm, we already have a solar panel, a compost system...

In exchange, I offer an accommodation (up to 3 people), plus 3 meals a day to... more inside

Our place is a small Buddhist Temple, with big projects in mind and we are looking for volunteers to be part of it eagerly.

We are located close to the Bandaranaike International Airport, in a rural area with some medium cities nearby. Transportation to major cities is easy, catching the train in Veyangoda.

At the moment we have a very nice Bodhi tree, a classroom (outside) and a small house, where several monks are living. In a very close future we will expand the accommodations and give more monks struggling with bad conditions and zero education, a place to grow up and develop.

We are looking for a volunteer who would like to help us with this project any way possible. We are looking for mansions/Teachers/skill workers/house designers who have to work a few hours a day, anything of your area of expertise or you find yourself comfortable in. Our main goal is to maintain a relationship with people from other countries, so that our resident monks grow broad-minded and wit... more inside

Hello!

Our hostel is located in Mirissa Beach, on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, which is a breath taking sandy beach, known for surfing, whale watching, turtle hatching and the Instagram-famous Coconut Tree Hill. Along the beach are many bars and restaurants with both local and western food. It's the perfect place to sit back and relax with a bit of party on the side.

We like to maintain a very social atmosphere between guests and volunteers with many daily activities throughout the week. It is very important that our guests feel welcomed and important so we encourage our volunteers to participate in the daily activities and be as social as possible.

We are located 2 min walking distance from the beach, 15 min by bus to Welligama and 20 min to Matara, which is a bigger city and where you have public transportation for all Sri Lanka.

We are sure that you will love the house, the staff, and the beach of course!
