We provide English language immersion programs for Polish professionals as well as young people preparing for their Matura Exam.
Your role there is to be part of a group of English speaking volunteers helping our Polish participants to speak English. Every day will be full of activities, such as one-to-one conversations, group debates or presentations and social time in the evening.

This is an invaluable cultural exchange where every individual will gain new knowledge and make international friends.

Join us for an amazing trip!

To be considered, you must be a native English speaker.

You do not need to have any prior teaching experience!

The accommodation takes place in hotels near Poznan or Warsaw, (depends on dates). You will have a single room, but you might share a room with a native speaker of the same gender for our youth programs.

On the day before our programs begin, there is an afternoon meetup in Poznan or Warsaw, that includes free lunch and drinks.

NEXT EXCHANGE AVAILABLE : SUMMER 2019

Hello! Please read carefully all the way to the end: this isn’t your average volunteer exchange, but it’s a really BEAUTIFUL OFF-GRID EXPERIENCE for those rugged enough to handle it. Check my reviews if you want to see what some of the past helpers have to say. One week is the minimum stay, but I love when people stay longer and really get into the groove.

::::::::::::::::

FOOD IS NOT INCLUDED: you can buy whatever you need in town and cook it yourself at camp. I provide drinking water, washing water and cooking supplies. You'll need to bring your own sleeping bag/mat/pillow/whatever, and if you're traveling with your own tent, great! I have a few spare tents and sleeping mats if needed, but not much in the way of blankets.

WHAT DOES "OFF-GRID" MEAN? In spite of all the stuff you have to do without, living off-grid is really fun – especially if it's just for a short time and the weather's nice! What it means is that there's no refrig... more inside

Our farm was born in 2010 when we bought the first piece of our land. Currently we have 6,5 ha in the low mountain region of central-west Hungary by the edge of forested mountain and agricultural fields with beautiful view and nice weather. Our vision is to run a regenerative agricultural enterprise which based upon holistic management, permaculture and self-sufficiency.

We offer you the opportunity to be part of the exciting initial phase of the set-up of a small-scale farm.

We are a hungarian couple, part time farmers at this moment. Lia has been working for companies mainly as an environmental consultant. She has master degrees in environmental science and plant genetics, fine skills for personal development consulting, auditing, cooking and also plays very well on piano. Sándor has similar experience with degrees of environmental science, agriculture, animal husbandry and also has an education in permaculture, practical sustainability. The name of our permaculture farm consists of two words: "rév", which can be translated to either "ferry" or "haven" and "puszta", which (in Somogy, the area that we live in) refers to "forest pastures". So it may either mean a "way/road towards a pasture", or a "lush safehaven". This meaning is symbolic and appropriate, as our farm is a truly remote one, set in the middle of a picturesque forest, far from the noises of cities, villages or cars. The forest is a national park, so there are no insecticides, pesticides, fungicides or any other harmful substances in use in a very large radius. As such, our farm is ideally located for ecological agriculture and permaculture.

At present our farm is home to 2 cows, a calf, hopefully one more on the way (kárpáti borzderes), 3 dogs (komondor), 4 cats, a paint stallion, an australorp rooster and hens of various breeds, a small flock of indian runner ducklings, thousands of honeybees and us, of course: Anna (24) and David (31).

We host volunteers from April to September.

Please note meat is a big part of our diet so we do not cater for vegetarians.

We live in a small village in Bulgaria, 10km from the nearby town of Popovo. The village is a friendly place, with 3 bars, shops, post-office and a library with internet access. The village has a regular bus service to Popovo, from where connecting buses or trains connect to the rest of Bulgaria. The village has a lively traditional folk-music and dance troupe, and there are plenty of opportunities to see them perform at the many local festivals throughout spring and summer.

We moved to Bulgaria in August 2014 and are busy establishing our organic smallholding. We have built beds for growing our vegetables in and have planted various fruit bushes and trees along with the mature trees we all ready had, these have allowed us to now be self sufficient in fruit and vegetables for the last 2 years. We have raised our own pigs and ducks for meat and our suppl... more inside

My name is Krisztian. I am 28 years old and I am obsessed with nature, gardening, alternative ways of living, arts, specially music ( creating and listening as well... all kinds, from electronic through piano music to bird singing ). I also love to travel, a few years I spent with traveling around Europe. While this journey I got involved in lots of permaculture, biological gardening projects and met many amazing people. I learned a lot not only about gardening but also about nature, people, music and about myself. After this long travel I realized that I would love to settle down and start something I don't have to leave behind and could call it a home, a spot where I can get myself more grounded. I wanted to be as close to nature as possible and after a few months looking around and searching I ended up on the winery area of the little village called Bazsi.

The place is on a hill and it's totally melted together with the huge forests behind. Ideal for lovers of nature. There ar... more inside
