OK Welcome to our Project and ‘Thanks’ for stopping by.

WE ARE - an exciting and fun developing homestead in the rural province of Somogy in the Forest covered natural countryside in South of Hungary.

Our mission is to live off grid, feed from the garden and surrounding forests and find economic ways to support our small family and home living as far from the system as possible, over time of course!

There are three of us which includes 2 extremely fun and friendly under 10’s.

And a bunch of naughty cuddly animals including 13 goats, 25+ chickens, cats and dogs, ducks to come.

PROPERTY – we live on a 2-acre property which we are developing using permaculture, agro forestry and other really awesome methods, the gardens are full of vegetables, and fruit and nut trees so we don’t go hungry around here.
Our garden backs on to the Zscelic Park (Stary Sky Park) which is the 2nd darkest place in Europe so if you like sitting under the dark skies watching the milky way aroun... more inside

We are the most awarded hostel in Croatia located in the heart of the Zagreb city centre (5 min walk from the main square). There's an on site "secret" garden with terraces and 2 bars. The property itself was a dry cleaning factory from late 19th century which explains the industrial theme design. We are an ECO friendly hostel so we refurbished and recycled a lot of machinery from the factory to keep the authenticity of that age.

The hostel has 19 rooms and about 90 beds. And the best part - only city hostel with a pool :)

We are looking for hardworking people, with high level of English (other languages are a bonus) and productivity. Strong customer service skills as handyman skills :) If you can stay 2 months or longer, please reach out!

Learn how to make craft beers and wine as well as helping to preserve fruit and vegetables and general garden work.

We are usually busy making beer and wine especially in the autumn but we now have a new cool wine cellar which means we can produce beer even when it is hot outside!

We are looking for volunteers now and also taking interest for next year from January 2020.

We have set up an Eco campsite and guest house using permaculture principles and also the 3 R's ie reduce, reuse and recycle on site. We encourage our guests to think about the environment, separate their waste, reuse the grey water and use environmentally friendly washing / cleaning products.

We are in the foothills of the Pirin mountain range in the far south west of Bulgaria. Ideally situated if you are planning on arriving or leaving Bulgaria through Greece or Northern Macedonia

We are only 10 K from the Greek border and less than 2 hours to the Greek coast. We also have a mineral water swimmi... more inside

Do you care for food that is produced both ethically and organically, by means that also combat climate change? Are you willing to put sensible, selfless, hard work into creating such tangible values? Then read on! We’re looking for people like You! People who are eager to help and learn about farm life, Hungarian culture and traditions, and share their own stories along the way.

We are Anna (27) and David (33) and this year we’ve just started our pastured chicken enterprise on our new 40 HA farm. Sustainable meat production is of key importance to us, but above all we are a Climate Farm, fighting the effects of climate change by means of holistic grazing.

We are younger than most farmers in Hungary (dare I say, Europe), which means we are flexible and happy to socialize and understand your needs and preferences. We understand and respect vegetarians. We are aware of how a wholesome, home-cooked meal can raise the morale. In this regard, Anna is the one who cooks delicious, ... more inside

Hallo, we have a small farm surrounded by forest around 20km from city Rimavska Sobota. Middle South Slovakia.
We are with 2 persons, me (Slovak) and my husband (Belgium), we are retired and after our work around the world on the different projects (building sugar factories and bio fuel) we settled home now.
We have some houses here what need to be reconstructed, we keep some animals like cows, ponies, pigs, chickens, dugs and dogs.
Doing some gardening to have our own vegetables, potatoes, fruits, everything bio.
In season we are busy to prepare food for the animals - hay, straw, grass silage, seeding and cutting wheat, preparing wood for the winter time and between these normal farming jobs try to do some cleaning up the area, renewing of the buildings and machine maintenance.
We are producing our own energy (solar panels and wind turbine), baking our own bred and cakes, preparing jam from our fruit, syrups, collecting herbs, try to live healthy and we are 95% independent.
