(NOTE: I need one strong person for one week including Sat September 1st to help me with the market in the picture. Heavy lifting required.)

Welcome to my bush property abounding with birds and tall gum trees in the Dandenong Ranges. There is a double bed in the spare room, which has a stunning view over the garden and beyond, as in the last photo. There is wifi.

Great food is on offer; carnivore, vegetarian, even vegan or other needs are easily catered for. Entertaining is a pleasure. The only animal is a lovely friendly Australian Shepherd girl, so no dog allergies please!

Open-minded and fun-loving, I love alternative music, and smoking outside is ok. I have a guitar and a piano. There are even some good live music venues close by, and you can go for a night out if that is your interest.

I speak some French, and am happy to help with conversation for French people wanting to improve their English.

We are a fun family with 3 children (9, 14 and 17), one dog, 3 cats, chickens and horses.

Our home is a quirky mud brick house on 10 acres with lovely views, and some spectacular sunsets. There is a cycle path to town (we have a spare bike), or it is about 30mins to walk.

We live in Beechworth, a lovely village 1/2 hour from Wangaratta, Myrtleford and Wodonga near the Victoria/New South Wales border. Beechworth is a small town from the gold rush era, with historic buildings as well as some great trails for cycling. We are approximately 3-4 hours from either Melbourne or Canberra, 5-7 hours from Sydney.

Accomodation while you stay with us is a tidy caravan close to the house so you can have privacy but still be involved in the family. The van is cold on winter nights, so please come prepared. We have a supply of hot water bottles and warm blankets.

We prefer helpx guests to stay for one week. We love longer stays, but like to get to know you first.

A lovely home atmosphere. I would really prefer 2 weeks to one month stays. Own room, double bed and couch. I have a large standard male black poodle who loves everyone. You must love dogs. The work here is general garden maintenance, pruning and lawn mowing, weeding, and some cleaning in the home. No more than a couple of hours per day, or 4 every other and go off for the day. If a couple, then please contribute to your food. Special diets not catered for. We do the shopping together. I love to have conversations and hear about where you are from. I can help you improve your English, but I need you to be able to speak enough for us to understand. So now I need either a single guy or a couple to help me. My home is on the Mornington Peninsula within walking distance to beach. 1 hour by train from Melbourne city. I love to show my helpers around this peninsula, so I usually take a day trip to show you around as well. Lots of photo opportunities for you.

We are available for a home stay for approximately one week anytime from September 7th until September 19th. We have a large house and garden, with a tennis court and swimming pool (although too cold for use at the moment!). Our property is located in the North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The suburb has a semi-rural ambiance, is close to the Yarra river and has lots of interesting walks. Public transport is available but not close. We can drive you to and from the bus or train.
We have a few spare bedrooms with double and queen size beds. You will also have your own bathroom. We are a semi retired couple and have two small dogs who are very much part of the family.
Family meals and accommodation will be offered in return for approximately 20 hours (often less) work across the week. We always have gardening work (weeding and mulching) or general maintenance (such as cleaning windows). Work hours are very flexible to fit in with your sightseeing of Melbourne.

We are looking for some help from 23 August. On the property there are friendly animals: one horse, 18 chickens and two sheep. We have a big berry patch which needs to be pruned and a vegetable patch to prepare for planting.

The work we are doing at the moment is: Building a grape arbour and bluestone fireplace.

We have accommodation in the house. We enjoy good fresh food and socialising. Our property is 5km from town which has a train station to Melbourne and we are 8km from Hanging Rock. We have bicycles available for you to ride.

We will provide food and rooms for 5 hours of work 5 days per week. We can pick you up from the train station so you don't need a car.
