Hello travellers of Australia

We are in a very safe, lush part of Australia . No fires here.

Seeking a couple for February - starting late Jan

Please see our Vimeo channel - https://vimeo.com/user102552459

We host volunteers as well as accommodation guests at our highly rated coastal micro-retreat on the edge of our town, near beaches. help myself (Dom G) with maintaining the site and house, assist myself (main resident host) in making improvements to small buildings, gardens, and online presence- video and photography. Ability and confidence to drive a vehicle in Australia is very desirable (approx. one trip per week with Host )

Our place functions as a kind of ' alt-community' - two Inverloch residents, lots of interactions with our local residents, a family based in Melbourne, many travellers, and tourists who come for a paid vacation.

Currently: finishing two new multipurpose semi-outdoor spaces, setting up outdoor bathing, upgrading the 'food for... more inside

I live in a large regional city one hour by train from Melbourne in a comfortable three-bedroom home with a medium-sized garden. I prefer a young man willing to work in my garden, maybe a little house cleaning. If he has some experience in painting the exterior wood parts of a brick home that could be an advantage, and also knowing a weed from a plant (!). I offer a private room, internet access, meals (French and Italian cuisine) in exchange for four hours work per day, mainly light work, five days a week.I usually find that young helpers don't have much gardening experience and I am happy to show them what they need to do. The time that they do the required 4 hours of work on week-days can be flexible but helpers must be happy and willing to do a full 4 hours per day because I really hate it if I find that I have to keep urging them to continue their work; in such a case the exchange is not worth my trouble. I really prefer someone from France or Italy. I speak those languages flu... more inside

Hi Friends, we are looking for helpers!! Here’s a bit about our family and farm.......

Shane and I live on a large rural property one hour from Melbourne with our two young children (thirteen and nine). Our property is situated in a beautiful environment, however needs ongoing care to realize it's full potential.

Most of our property is native bush, home to the diverse wildlife here (wallabies, wombats, deer and parrots).

With busy lives we require ongoing help to maintain our property. Such tasks include gardening, mowing, building, fencing and cleaning. We are also currently renovating our house so there are some house projects that require attention.

Our home is quite small so our guests reside in the Outhouse. Guests say they love staying amongst the trees and enjoy having their own private space, set up with running water, electricity, kitchen and partial bathroom. There is also a double mattress and single bed. There is wifi and TV in your accomodation. Updated ... more inside
