We're interested in hearing from strong, young people willing and able to help us in the garden and on the farm - and who are also interested in sharing experiences and culture in a happy atmosphere. We prefer non-smokers and omnivores! Over the years, we have enjoyed the company of a wide range of HelpXers and we especially enjoy helping new arrivals settle into Australia

This is an old family property first established by my Great Grandfather, although we now live on a small section of the original property. My wife and I were formerly running a merino sheep stud. We have a large garden which needs constant work and from time to time also undertake more major projects for which we seek strong, enthusiastic assistance! We try to match the work expectations to the skills and interests of our guests.

Basic fitness and a readiness to learn and be involved are essential. We prefer to speak English but have some limited French. We are 90 minutes from Melbourne just outside Balla... more inside

One large house with two very separate areas in Frankston, Victoria. The house is on a 1 acre block of bush garden. Three of us live here-me, Kate, an artist, a young friend, Madeline, a bar manager, and in a separate area, my 37 year old son, a tradesman. (his children live with him part time.)
We have a very relaxed, casual, bohemian style household.
We like music, films, art, great food, beaches and caring for the environment. We enjoy having other people visiting.
We sometimes foster rescue dogs to get them ready for their adoptive homes and really love doing this.
Frankston is a beachside suburb. It is located exactly between Melbourne and the Mornington peninsula. It's known as the gateway to the peninsula. From here a train to the centre of Melbourne is 50 minutes travel. From here you can easily travel over the Mornington Peninsula and many tourist attractions on buses. We also have a beach shack on beautiful Phillip Island which is a world famous tourist destination. It... more inside

Our place is in a stunning setting amongst the native bush and wildlife of the Strathbogie ranges. It's a great space to relax, explore, and there's often a fun local event to attend.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 10 years old). We have a large garden, grow a lot of veggies, have an orchard of over 100 trees (every type of fruit imaginable), bee hives and about 50 free range chickens. We are both teachers (music and art) and I play saxophone in several bands most weekends (afrobeat, lots of west and South African styles, jazz, funk, soul and more), so if you like good music and visiting Melbourne, this might be a good place for you.

We have a friendly dog and a cat, and lots of beautiful friends nearby, in Melbourne and all over. There are lots of nice spots nearby for swimming (Polly McQuinns waterhole and Gooram falls), walking, riding and adventures. 15 mins to lake Eildon and an hour to skiing at Mt Buller (bus stop a few kms down the road). 30 mins to eit... more inside

We are looking for someone to help out in a nanny/housekeeping role for a week or more.

We live in Clifton Hill , Melbourne, which is a great inner city suburb just 10 minutes train trip or 15/20minute bike ride in to the city. Our house is close to public transport, the Yarra River and Merri Creek, with lots of parks, walking trails and great cafes nearby.

We are a fairly easy going family who love being out and about - bike riding, kayaking, going to the beach etc etc. We often go away for the weekend, and you would be welcome to join us to explore beautiful places around Victoria.

Ben is a lawyer, and Inger used to work in Environmental education, and is currently a full time mum, and volunteering at the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre. We have two kids - a boy who is 5 and a girl who is 3. They are fun and playful with A LOT of energy. They love to try new food and learn new languages.

We are now located in Somerville, approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by train or 1 hour 30 minutes by car from central Melbourne. Somerville is south of the CBD on the Mornington Peninsula and is a small town with modern facilities. The location provides excellent access to the beaches both surf and swimming, wineries and tourist attractions the region has to offer.

Our home is in a quiet location close to the township. It is spacious, modern and comfortable with excellent facilities including a solar heated swimming pool. We offer meals and a private comfortable bedroom with access to a seperate spa bathroom. Broadband wifi is also available.

About us, we are an older couple now both retired from our professions and have varied interests including art, classical music, literature, craft and gardening. We recently moved from the inner city for a more quiet and relaxed lifestyle as well as having the space to pursue our interests.
