Young family looking for helpers with our home renovation. We are currently renovating our 100+ year old home and would love some help! We also have 10 acres, 3 children (8, 13 & 15), cows, sheep, and lots of chickens. We have a market garden which is resting at the moment which we will soon be starting again and need some extra hands. Great food straight from our farm or our local region. (mostly organic)eaten with our family. Plenty to see around our area and a great place to stay for a while. Close to some lovely cascades and not too far from Noosa Beach. We have been Helpers ourselves so we have experience of what its like to be the helper.

Hello everybody,

We are a private household of 2 (with our adult son visiting occasionally) on a small acreage block about 14 km from Brisbane CBD. We currently have one big dog.

We live in the middle of nature right next to the best mountain bike area in Brisbane (but only 25 minutes to the city center). If you like to go for walks, long hikes or runs there is plenty of room for that around here.

We like to go away exploring the area with the 4x4 or bikes, go for a hike or do some sightseeing and love to include our guests.

We are looking for a couple or 2 females who can help in the paddock/garden and house.
A little spring clean is necessary, also garden work.
Sometimes you might just be dog-sitting.
You will need your own car.
Must be neat, self motivated, courteous and helpful and of course friendly. A good sense of humour does not hurt :-).

We're looking forward to meeting you and to share our home!

Longer term stay is an option if we are a good match.

Gday Funseekers! Easy-goin Fun-luvin Canadian dude seeks like-minded to share in mountain biking, walking, 4x4, flying (small aircraft lands on beach!), boating or kayaking adventures at Fraser Island, Utopia (mountain rock pools- see photos), Great Sandy Straits (whale watching, boating, fishing) and surrounds. I`ve worked as a Ranger-guide on Fraser for many years with Kingfisher with extensive experience touring there (you can`t bike everywhere as sand tracks commonly too soft to ride - continuously torn up by 4x4s). We are in no rush in our fun-seeking and the tour is fantastic! Far better than 4x4 coaches I drove there! I love the island & surrounding area & would love to share it with you. Come enjoy it as mother nature intended with environmentally sensitive biking, hiking, fishing, or boating (wakeboarding, skiing, tubing, crabbing, spear fishing) tours to suit. Or if ya don`t have much time, I can be convinced into piling into one of my 4x4 vans (seats 8).

I have 8 extr... more inside

ABOUT US
We are a small hobby farm in a quiet bush setting between Bundaberg and Agnes Water. We moved here from Melbourne 11 years ago in search of a rural lifestyle and warmer weather. Everything here was built by us and it has kept us very busy. We occasionally raise pigs for meat and have had chickens, ducks and geese in the past.

There's 2 of us plus Max, our Maremma sheepdog. We both have a background in construction and have travelled extensively throughout Australia. We have a lot of hobbies and interests including cooking, gardening, furniture making, house construction, STEM and plenty more.

WHO WE WANT
We are looking for couples or one to two women to help with outdoor work such as improving the gardens, construction, general property maintenance and animal care. Some household chores may be required too. We are also interested in a cultural exchange and want helpers who are keen to socialise a bit during their time off.
