Hi future helper,
We are a dairy farm 50 minutes away from Margaret River. We are located 5km from our own secluded beach on the south coast.
We can offer breakfast, dinner and accommodation in exchange for work. We have a detached granny flat with queen bed, bathroom and kitchenette.
You are welcome to what ever is growing in the veggie patch and eggs from our chickens.

We would love some help looking after our 6 month old son and the homestead (some gardening might be needed) during the busy calving season which starts mid March.
The work will be roughly 4 hours of child care from 8am till 12pm and then what ever you feel like doing around the homestead, ie feed chickens, weed garden. experience with children is a must have.

thank you

Dunmore Dairy

I need a HelpXer 5 - 16 April 2019 (can start earlier/stay later)

I need someone to look after Dylan, my dear old dog, when I visit my daughter in Sydney. I live in a cohousing community (co-op) near famous Fremantle so it's a great place to land and start your adventure. It's called Pinakarri Community (HelpX host 18480, www.pinakarri.org.au, Pinakarri People on fb).

My house is one of 12 so you'll have lovely, helpful neighbours. We have bicycles for visitors - it's only a 10 minute ride to South Beach, 2 minutes to the shops. Lots of buses nearby.

Accommodation: There is a large room with queen size bed and you can use the kitchen, bathroom, dining and living areas. Please note that meals are not provided however you are welcome to use anything that's in my pantry and fridge. Lots of wifi.

Work: Dylan is an old dog and he sleeps most of the time. He's used to me being out so you'll have plenty of time to explore. The main thing is to feed him and for someone to be i... more inside

To all the lovely Helpx, please note Outback Australia can be quite daunting when you first arrive as it is stunning, but like landing on strange planet. Much will be uncomfortable, but if you let your hosts know there are some things they can change, some they can't. Most more than happy to try to do whatever they can to improve your stay. Most stations will vary their workload according to weather, but the hardest working most extreme environment.

Permaculture house in Perth metro with fish, ducks, chicken, bees, food forest and veg beds.

I live in the suburb of Coolbellup in a late 50's house on a 728sqm block. The whole block is being converted to a permaculture productive garden. It has food forests, ducks, chickens, numerous IBC wicking beds, aquaponic systems, ponds, grey water systems and soon to have bees. The conversion to a permie setup is ongoing and will never be complete as systems evolve. It currently demonstrates what is possible on in a relatively small urban space.

I have a 4 year old son that lives with me half of the time.

The house is situated 8km from Fremantle where there is great beaches, a live music scene, art galleries, and much more. There is a bus stop one street away that runs to Fremantle. Bibra lake is also close by.

Accommodation is in a back room overlooking the garden. There is an outdoor bath/shower for your use which waters the banana circle as well as an outdoor kitchen and you... more inside

Hello Hepful Helpers :)

We have space for 1-2 full time / part time helpers in a shared room, from today - 22 Feb 2019. You can stay for 2-6 weeks, with a one-week trial initially. The next availability is from 20th February 2019 (approx.)

We are 2 adults and 2 kids. Our house and lifestyle are modest and in some ways unusual, as we are a family that is more interested in joy than in historical social conventions. So if you can enjoy living outside of the box a little, you will enjoy living here.

We love to have people stay with us not just to help us with the work, but also to celebrate life with us, and be part of our community.

We currently need help mostly with gardening, childcare, housekeeping, and house re-arranging. Kids are 7 & 12, so babysitting is an easy job.

We are vegetarian and vegetarian food is what is on offer to you. Our house is completely alcohol and smoke free. There is no negotiation on this point.
At this stage, if there’s two of you, you... more inside
