** Welcome to our homestay **

Hello, we are Jane and Dave. We live in a small village near the town of Newark, which is between Lincoln and Nottingham in the UK. We keep bees, chickens and pigs, and a lovely cat and grow fruit and vegetables in our large garden. We will be hosting again from the end of March so look forward to hearing from anyone looking for a host this year.

Please do read to the end of our profile and have a look at some of our testimonials to see if this is the place for you.

Weve travelled a lot ourselves, so its great to welcome people from around the world into our own home. We get the benefit of all the help with the animals, the garden and our various projects and enjoy the company of so many interesting people. We particularly want to hear from people with specific skills such as a real knowledge of gardening, carpentry or construction work or just a general familiarity with working with tools. However being independent, having lots of common ... more inside

Our 17th century farmhouse is home to Piers, Sue, three young people aged 19-23 (two are away at university), two house cats and a small, very friendly dog. Our stay length is two, occasionally three, weeks. We may be able to take a helpxer this coming spring.

We offer helpxers comfortable accommodation in a prime tourist area, excellent food and a genuine welcome, in return for a fair level of physical work. It's a great opportunity for people who are keen to stay in a family environment and learn stuff about country living. We usually take helpxers one at a time; sometimes we have two people here.

Our home is within sight of the sea in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are shingle beaches to walk to and steep-sided sandy coves easily reachable by bike (although the roads are hilly!). South Devon is an enormously popular tourist destination from Easter to October, when it earns its reputation as the sunniest part of England.

We moved here nine years ago and have... more inside

Bed and Breakfast in a small traditional English market town in Kent with 5 letting rooms and large garden 1 hour from London 15 minutes to the coast. You would assist with serving breakfasts and housekeeping in the morning and do some maintainance on quiet days with few guests.
You would stay in a large attic bedroom with private bathroom. All meals and wifi provided and informal English lessons can be given.
I am looking for a single male helper who can work in the garden and also do some painting in the house.
I am looking for helpers who should be able to stay for at least one month. I need helpers from June until late September for a minimum time of one month. I will interview possible helpers by skype.
Any questions? please mail me
