Hello!

I am looking for someone to come to stay with us to give us some help in the garden. Also some help with family life.

The garden needs to be cleared and cut back ready for planting. If you know about plants and gardens that would be awesome! As I don’t know much.

It is a long, thin, London garden: not very big. But a real mess. I’d like you to pile up the stones and debris ready for someone to collect.

My husband will help.

Our three kids (13, 10, 4) do not go to regular school so other help we might need may be help with tidying up, taking the youngest to the park or help with clearing up the kitchen.

Your room in the attic is newly done and you will have a top of the range Bo Concept sofa-bed. However some of the house is still quite chaotic - just to warn you! And the four year old is very screamy sometimes.

We are looking for someone in March when the weather warms up as there is a movable radiator there but it’s not that warm...

I am a wr... more inside

We live on the outskirts of York, near the racecourse. We have a garden and grow fruit and vegetables on our allotment.

We try to cultivate using the `no-dig` method and like to re-use and recycle wherever possible.

Our house has solar panels on the roof for water and electricity as we are keen to reduce our impact on the environment.

We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and have made some wonderful friends in the process.

The work includes turning and spreading compost, weeding, seed sowing, planting out, grass cutting and fence painting.

From early summer fruit and vegetables are ready to be harvested and prepared for freezing and conserving.
If the weather is bad then there are always jobs to get on with in the house, garage and greenhouse.

We can offer all meals, laundry and accommodation, (in a double bed/own bathroom) in return for a helping hand, usually around 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, or equivalent, although we`re very flexible when it ... more inside

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out now on an estate where we try to live in a sustainable way. The work is varied and involves teamwork. It also offers an opportunity to learn about permaculture and growing fruit, flowers and vegetables in a kitchen garden, a herb garden and an orchard. We also need help in keeping livestock (chickens, sheep and goats), and with maintaining a fly fishing river. Other jobs include logging, mowing and all other areas of gardening, plus buildings maintenance and decorating at times if that suits you.

If you want to learn or improve your English this will be a good opportunity as you will be working with an English-speaking team.

Hello, we are Jane and Dave. We live in a small village in rural Lincolnshire in the East of England where we keep bees, chickens and pigs (pigs only during May-November) and grow fruit and vegetables in our large garden.

We’ve travelled a lot ourselves, so it’s great to welcome people from around the world into our own home. We get the benefit of all the help with the animals, the garden and our various projects and enjoy the company of so many interesting people. Our volunteers seem to be happy too, have a look at our reviews to see if this is a home-stay you would enjoy. and please do read our profile fully before you apply.

For 2019 we'd like to welcome couples, small families or single people who really aspire to our values and life style and who would like to help us. Hello,

We are seeking volunteers for gardening, cleaning and basic DIY from the beginning of March.

We are looking forward to meeting new people!
There would be time to spare and we're just 40 minutes by train away from the center of London.

We ask that volunteers stay a minimum of 4 weeks, with longer stays appreciated and prioritized.

This is a friendly, welcoming place with much experience hosting volunteers. We have had volunteers from all over the world stay with us and everyone here believes in promoting cultural exchange and learning new skills.

Location:
This is a beautiful property located near Stanstead Airport in Hertfordshire. There is a small village (High Wych) 5 minutes walk away with a shop, post office and pubs. We have a delightful bungalow in the beautiful Devon countryside with a large garden and peaceful location.
Vegetarian, non smoker, must be a dog lover.

My husband and I are friendly and would like someone to help us with our bungalow, there’s just a few walls to paint outside. The paint is water soluable so it washes off easily without using any chemicals.
There’s nothing complicated with the garden. I need a hand with weeding mostly, and composters to assemble. The area planned to situate them needs clearing which will require someone fit to shift a heap of grass.
If you’re good with computers it could be handy but really it’s outdoors jobs we need a hand with.

We can offer you the cosy caravan. There’s an electric blanket, a fully equiped kitchen, with fridge and cooker. The WiFi is very fast so and you can download unlimited films. Outside there’s your own pretty sitting area.

We’d like 4 hours help a day with your weekends free. In exchange we’ll provide your ... more inside

Hello prospective HelpXers,

We are currently looking for one or two helpers for between 5 and 6 weeks from around the 9th February until 18th/19th March.

The work is mainly on the farm, which is simple work of feeding and watering the animals and chickens (plus the ducks) and milking two of our goats.....

If the weather is good (and not too hot) there are outside jobs of gardening and landscaping the kitchen garden.

In exchange for all of this we will supply good food, a lot of conversation and a good sprinkling of laughter!

So if you are interested in what I have written above, please let me know as soon as possible as we need to fill our vacancy.

Please read.....

We do like our helpers to stay 3 weeks (or more) - This is because we have a lot to teach new helpers and this takes time. The first 3 - 4 days we would be working with you and then you would need 2 days off, so that is the first week gone....
