Katie and I own a small crofting home in the rural heart of the Scottish West Highlands in a small village called Lochailort.

During the summer months and peak times we offer Bed and Breakfast or Self / Catering to paying guests.

We are always looking for good helpers (a couple ideally or a self-motivated individual) with a minimum stay of 4 weeks or longer if possible. Places are available now.

We are remote, but the area is stunning and can be just the most beautiful in all seasons.

Your first passion will be a love for nature and the rural environment. We are 27 miles from the nearest town (Fort William), and surrounded by mountains and a small stream. The 'Harry Potter' Jacobite steam train passes on the railway just near our back door. The seaside is only 5 minutes away and we are fortunate to live in one of the most scenic parts of the North West Highlands.

*** WE NEED SOMEBODY FROM MID MARCH FOR AT LEAST TWO MONTHS, PREFERABLY LONGER ***

Join our lovely team. Make new friends. Discover Edinburgh.

We are a friendly and relaxed wee hostel right on the historical Royal Mile in the very centre of Scotland`s stunning and lively capital city. We`re one of the smallest but also cosiest and friendliest hostels in town. And we`re smack bang in the middle of all the sights and our favourite bars are 5 around minutes walk away (some even less).
I think we would describe ourselves as a relaxed, easy-going kind of bunch rather than a crazy party hostel. We like nights with a drink or two and some banter in front of the fire place. But there are also weekly events in cooperation with our bigger sister hostels, like a Ceilidh (Scottish dance), our Pub Crawl and Ghost tours.

We`re looking for someone who likes to be around people from all over the world and wants to help us keep our wee hostel clean and tidy. A friendly atmosphere is very... more inside
