We are a friendly, laid back hostel, in the heart of Mexico's main, coastal, tourist city.
In fact, we are the only hostel in the city and for miles around that's actually located right on the beach.

We have 3 relaxed dogs who need walking, and we have cleaning and customer care tasks to attend to in the hostel. We also have a night shift on weekends which can be arranged separately if you're interested. Oh, and if you are a good cook, we'll probably offer to marry you, too!

We need presentable, friendly HelpXers who can work 4 hours a day, 6 days a week. We're usually quite flexible with hours and tasks, but you must commit to a minimum of 3 weeks, and we count on you being punctual.

Wifi, linen, hot water, secure lockers, fans, a mixed dorm bed, tea, and coffee are all included, and when we do group meals, we can organise for you to eat/drink for free. At the moment, breakfast is not included.

Send us a message and we'll organise something soon

We have two sites. One is in an urban setting (Urban) in Cuernavaca, and the other is located in the rural area of Miacatlan Morelos (Rural), next to Xochicalco, close to Cacahuamilpa caves, Taxco, and South of Mexico City.

We are building our version of an Earthship with a green house. The Earthship is to house several vital cycles. A vital cycle is based on a water cycle where the plant kingdom and animal kingdom sustain each other. In our cycle we have fish whose droppings nourish the plants. The plants are rice, azolla, and lettuce mostly.

The tasks change regular since we are building. A few hours to house keeping, gardening, some days we work mortar, other we weld or do carpentry, do compost, collecting wood.

Start the day with a hot drink some fruit, bread, take a break for lunch.Free time after 3 pm. We have dinner around 9 pm. We have bikes for transportation and days off can be arranged. With plenty of free time.

Hi All, ready for a real experience?

We invite you to join us (Jacqueline and Alwart) to grow our permaculture farm in the jungle in Nayarit, Mexico.

We have the passion of becoming fully selfsustainable, and one of our passions is to share the knowledge we have gathered with people interested in the same topic.

At our project we have a few chickens for egg production, we have a pond with tilapia fish, we have more that 30 varieties of fruit trees (some of them are still growing...few years will go until the start fruiting), and we are now working in growing mushrooms, we are stablishing some small scale aquaponics. There is always something fun to work with, combined with other things not as fun like turning the compost or making new piles or remove weeds. To SEE this you can look for us in social media.

We look for people with energy to work and to ask questions, as what we want is that this experience can bring you closer to your nature. We also require people who c... more inside

My name is Victor and I have been teaching English to young people from my community for 8 years. I have a small school in downtown Tehuantepec near the market, banks, restaurants, and the tropical forest full of coconuts, bananas, and mangoes. Tehuantepec is located 20 minutes from the ocean beach community, Salina Cruz. I am located only a five minutes taxi ride from the local bus station.

I am looking for one person at a time to come and work with my students, which includes conversing with my students and teaching if you are able to. My students need more practice talking to people who speak fluent and clear english. I ask for five or six hours a day working with my students and in return I offer a place for you to sleep and one meal a day and a tour around the city to show you my local culture. You can stay for a minimum one week and a maximum of two weeks, but we can make a deal if it works out and you want to stay longer.NOTE; at the moment im just receiving couples

Our Hostel is a brand-new Hostel in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas; Mexico.

We opened our doors back on November 20th, 2012. San Cristobal de Las Casas has been awarded as the Most Magical Village in Mexico for 2011 and 2012, so the city can offer so many different ways to live: culture, arts, music, nature and a great chance to meet people from all around the world and to share experiences.

Our Hostel is just 2 blocks from mainsquare and offer different services in and out the place: hosting, tours, temazcal. Our place is an old big neoclassic arquitecture house, with a beautiful big garden with temazcal (mayan sauna), hammocks and a brand-new terrace with a 360 grades view from the city.

We are looking for 6-8 people to help us in the Hostel with these main activities: reception (welcome guests, take them to their rooms, offer our tours, etc), rooms/beds cleaning, laundry, night shifts, hostel promotion at the bus station, campfire nights, in-place events and the mor... more inside
