I run private English school for children aged between 10 and 19 years old in a small city in West Sumatra. My goal as the principal of the school is to provide youth from my region with the English skills required to communicate better in the modern world, and therefore provide them with better opportunities in their lives.

I would like to welcome any fluent English speakers under the age of thirty to come assist my teachers in the classroom. You would help immensely by having simple conversations with the students and give them a real English speaking experience inside or outside the classroom.

All the students are very welcoming and curious about my visitors and I am certain that you will have a great experience while interacting with them. You can expect answering all their curious questions, pose for pictures and be invited for lunches, snacks and dinners.

Classes in my school run from 2pm to 6pm and mostly consist of two lessons/classrooms per day. I would also like ... more inside

This programme was created in 2010 by a small group of English teachers who have been working for several years alongside Native Speakers. The reason that we created this programme is to help the local students and give them the opportunity to learn English with English speaking-people. Cianjur is a non-touristy place with few travellers, so meeting english-speaking people is particularly valued here.
In 2013, our programme was recommended by The Lonely Planet Guide Book. The programme was founded by five locals; the team are enthusiastic and passionate about improving the local student’s English.
The team:
Irwan Kumis, who is fluent in English, has been teaching primary school English for 9 years, as well as working for several years as a guide for Western travellers. He previously worked for a German NGO, Forder-und Interessengemeinschaft, as a volunteer in post-Tsunami Reconstruction and Development on Sabang–Weh Island–Aceh. He studied Economics at a University in Cianjur a... more inside

When I returned to my place (Tomia Island) I began to think of creating a community for children and adults in terms of art and education as well. For now, what I'm starting to develop is the "Mari Mabook Camp" which involves children from 8 years to 12 years old. I developed the Mari Mabook Camp based on the experience I had while in Yogyakarta. I really like to be friends with anyone and very open to anyone. - The largest train station in Purworejo, 5 minutes distance with motorbike or 10 minutes walking distance.
- The most famous tourist attraction in Kauman Kutoarjo named Kutoarjo Park (Alun-Alun Kutoarjo in Bahasa language) which only 5 minutes walking distance. There are a lot of food stalls beside Kutoarjo Park. Hello everyone,
My name is Ambaryani. I am an private English teacher in my town in Purworejo, Central Java. I have been teaching English since 2012. I and other English teachers are running an English club in the afternoon. This club builds for improving the members English language in the daily activity. It is a non-profit organization which helps local society to learn English.
We are looking for female or couple volunteers to help improving our student’s English. We are also still learning English. We need volunteers who are able to speak English fluently either native or non-native speakers. We do not really need a teaching experience, but if volunteers have a teaching experience will be awesome. If you are a native speaker, you will have an opportunity to share or teach English in a university, because they are learning English as their major.
Without practicing English with English speaking-people will be useless. By speaking fluent English, they will have an opportunity ... more inside
