***ONE HOUR of help to work in a cute TINY HOUSE in RAGLAN***

We are 5 minutes drive from town and 15 minute drive from the surf so having a car is recommended, i can happily lend you a surfboard or two.

The work isn't glamorous, mostly weeding, freeing trees, building paths but it's a unique setup.

There is power, a heater, external compost toilet, outside gas shower, bugs and spiderwebs, bring your headtorch and come for an adventure.
**UPDATE** THERE IS NOW POWER IN THE CABIN FOR HEATING/COOKING/LAPTOPS etc, I'm sure we can sort you WIFI if required too.

You will be given some direction but we are a busy family so you will essentially be trusted to work your own schedule.

Only available for winter as this is renting out in the summer - more info to be found via my airbnb website link above.

Our organic orchard is fully certified. We have been here for almost 5 years. If you have a car that is preferable as we are are 10 minutes from Cambridge, 30 minutes from Hamilton and 25 minutes from Te Awamutu. We are located centrally in the Waikato and close to Hobbiton, Waitomo caves, Raglan, Tauranga, and an hour and a half away from Auckland and Taupo. We have a vegetable garden and small orchard that requires looking after especially during spring summer and autumn. Currently we are on the lookout for one or two people that could help us over this time. We are a friendly and relaxed family, (couple and 12 year old daughter), enjoying life on a one acre lifestyle block. We have a cat, 6 chickens, 4 goats and 1 sheep.

Our house is comfortable, warm (with a heat pump and a wood-burning fire), and peaceful, in the countryside with lovely views of the surrounding dairy farm and Mt Kakepuke and Mt Pirongia, which you can enjoy while soaking in the hot spa pool under the stars.

You would have your own comfortable room, but share a bathroom with our family.

We are less than 15 minutes from the Otorohanga Kiwi House, where you are guaranteed to see cheeky kiwi birds being fed and playing.

Waitomo Caves are spectacular and less than half an hour away for glow worm viewing, black-water rafting, etc.

We are 40 minutes from Hamilton, 55 to Raglan, a world-class black sand surf beach, 1hr 15 to Tauranga, a beautiful white sand beach and the same to Rotorua with its thermal geysers, hot bubbling mud pools and Maori cultural sho... more inside

Hi...
We are a farming family based in the South Waikato on a dairy cow farm in Tirau.

We are looking for a couple who can help out with some gardening, waterblasting, fence painting (if weather ok), planting trees and renovating and cleaning out an old chicken house (ready for new chickens). Someone with building skills would be great.

A large bedroom with queen size bed and tv in our family home will be provided along with meals in exchange for 4hrs work per day. We have wifi.

Our farm is very central to everything, 2 hours from Auckland Airport and 45 minutes to rotorua/tauranga and 30mins to Hamilton. We are also very close to Hobbiton filming location.

We have 2 girls aged 7 and 8 who are great fun, also 1 dog and 2 cats and 2 lambs. Also 270 cows and about 70 calves

Would love to hear from anyone who is interested to come and stay in a farming family.

Having your own car would be an advantage.

Look forward to meeting you.

At the moment we are looking for someone that could help us out on the farm in general, but most of all with rearing calves. We are so lucky to have already a girl from Germany helping us out, but we are still looking for some more great help!

Our children are 10, 8 and 4 years old and love to meet new faces. We enjoy having people to stay who love kids, don't mind helping out with household chores and gardening. If you have special skills let us know and we can always look to find a project to suit.

We have a sweet self contained studio for guests. At the moment part of the studio is used by Hugh as an office during week days when he is not overseas. We
