We are looking for one or two people who could help us to finalise a building project. If you are good with timber, than this is for you! It will include building a bed, a bunk bed, some shelves, a ladder etc. There is also painting to be done.

Our house is located near a small settlement called Wharepapa South.
We are a family of 5. The kids are 8, 7 and 3. There are horses (that you are welcome to ride if you have experience), 1 friendly Border Collie, 10 hens and 1 pig who likes to eat food scraps.

There is a guest facility next to our blacksmithing workshop where you are welcome to stay. It has a new bathroom and a new kitchen but we just need some help with the finishing stage. In return for four hours a day of building and painting you can stay here and we'll also supply you lunch and dinner!

Our place is 25 minutes to the nearest supermarket, so reasonably remote but the location is central to lots of different towns and day trips if you want to explore the beautifu... more inside

Land and lifescaping projects, we offer alternative methods of living and want more mature (25yrs old and up) people. Currently we need help in getting our thermal mass greenhouse finished (minor carpentry/joinery) and few other jobs around the place, landscaping/gardens and finishing few other small ideas off. Maybe some pet sitting of our fur babies.

Eco friendly and surfing breaks are a must. Have WIFI, hot water, a roof, and dog and cat :)

You will need your own transport. We are about 15 mins from Raglan, 20 mins from Ruapuki breaks and 10 mins from Bridal Vale falls.

Hi. We live in the countryside south of Auckland, about 50 minutes from the airport. Our property has beautiful trees and gardens on it. There are 2 houses on the property .. our daughter and her 2 young children live in one, and we live in the other. We have 4 hens. And we have a young female dog called Pepper. There is a large old shed which we tidied up and lived in while the 2nd house was being built. That will be your accommodation and you will use our bathroom facilities .. just across the verandah.
We grow many of our own vegetables in our two vegetable gardens.
We would like your help with general chores. And not every day is work, .. you will have days to go and explore. The nearest beach is approx 30 minutes away, and is good for surfing. Central Auckland and Hamilton are each an 1 hour away.
Short stays are welcome if you want to stay here while you organise your NZ adventure. We are happy to help you with this. We can organise your food, including any special requi... more inside

We are new to this are currently looking for helpers now.

We live on 33 acres of land and bush overlooking Lake Waikare in North Waikato. We live in a solar powered home and we like to do what we can to address climate change. This includes very lightly stocking our property, not using sprays and favoring manual work. The help we need is variable and includes farm and property maintenance, gardening, building and cleaning.

No special skills required but you need a basic level of fitness as the work is mostly outside and usually physical. We ask for 3.5 hours of help each day (this can be organised however you like, some helpers like to work half days on half days off, others like full days on full days off etc.)

We eat healthy food supplemented by our own garden.

Both short and long stays are welcome.

Contact us about specific dates to find out more about what kind of work needs doing at that time.

In exchange you will get accommodation in a comfortable room in... more inside
