We would love some help in the garden and nursery!

We are a little family run plant nursery, husband and wife team, and our three daughters have just moved out of home...(Sometimes!) We live in an old villa on an avocado orchard and have a couple of gardening projects we would love help with!

We would be looking for a couple to help with gardening or plant nursery projects. In exchange for four hours work a day, or full day's work and next day off!

We offer separate accommodation with double bed, DVD player, ensuite, and three meals a day.
Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements?

We really enjoy showing people around the beautiful Bay of Plenty and if transport is a difficulty, we can pick up from Tauranga?

August 2018: We have loads for people to do at the moment - planting native trees, getting the veggie garden ready for spring, some building projects. Please contact us if you are available, especially couples or friends.
We are a family of four - Marcus from the UK (who also speaks French), Lisa from NZ, and two children (7 and 5 years old) - establishing our lifestyle block 16km outside Whakatane. We eat organic and home-grown produce as much as possible (not vegetarian) and generally try to live sustainably.
We moved to our home Easter 2013; we have off-grid solar power, spring and rainwater, a caravan, vege gardens and orchards. There is a large area of beautiful native bush on our property in which you can explore, soak up nature and chill out.
We are looking for visitors willing to help out with a wide range of jobs - planting natives, looking after the animals, a variety of building projects, weed control (mainly thistles and barberry), firewood cutting, tree plan... more inside

Kia Ora helpers,

We are a happy & friendly couple with 3 children (13, 7, 4yrs). We live in a big house on a large, sunny section in Kawaha Point. We enjoy mountain biking, waterskiing, wakeboarding, gardening and just generally being outdoors in this great country of ours!!

After hosting a couple of vegetarian helpers, we now try to eat vegetarian so anyone that is happy to also enjoy our vegetarian meals or is good at cooking vegetarian meals will be VERY welcome :)(we do also still occasionally eat meat)

We have plenty of tasks that need some attention at the moment - HEAPS of serious weed removal on our boundary fence, general housework and also some house renovation tasks.

You will need to be brave as there will be plenty of insects and bugs that you will come across :)

We are asking for approximately 4 hours of work per day in exchange for accommodation and food.

At this stage we would really appreciate helpers that have construction experience - either ho... more inside

We need someone as soon as possible so if you want to come and live by the fire for the rest of winter and work with horses during the day please get in touch. Thanks, Lucy.

We are always looking for people to work at our Horse Trekking facility so if you love working with horses please email me. If you come help us, you'll have lots of fun with your 4 legged friends!

If you have a passion for horses and have ridden most of your life we'd love you to come and stay with us. We normally have 2 - 3 people working here at a time so they are able to work together and during the holidays when we are a bit busier we have up to 4 - 5. We like people to stay for at least FOUR WEEKS so they can get to know the horses and trails but would allow 3 weeks if you are pushed for time. Please email me if you are interested. :) Thanks, Lucy.

Kennedy Bay is a beautiful lake location settled in a hidden bush valley overlooking one of Rotorua's beautiful pristine lakes. LIving here you can learn about real NZ. This home is idyllic wild, beautiful and peaceful surrounded by bush and lakes. You will wake up to the native bird calls and spend the night amazed by the stars.

The lodge looks onto the lake, nearby are natural hot pools and bush walks. The lodge has three separate renovated cabins so helpX people get their own space with shared eating, lounge and dining areas. (Two queen beds and one single)

I'm looking for people to help me improve sort out storage in the new shed and perhaps help with some landscaping. This could include building a small retaining wall or deck which is fun.

I welcome qualified builders, carpenters, tilers, brickies, cabinetmaker or anyone with a skill or a trade. I will buy good material to support your project. It's flexible how you choose to work. Busy times might require you to ... more inside

We are a 190 acre Dairy farm with small 120 cow herd our cows are in the middle of calving at the moment so there is calves to feed and horses for leisure trekking and harness. Situated on the beautiful East Coast in the Bay of Plenty overlooking the ocean, there is lots to see and do in the area.

We seek someone who can help with 'once-a-day' milking and/or exercise my horse, as my leg is still not completely healed after a bad break. The horse riding is not a priority but Must be a capable horse rider (English Riding).

Cleaning and cooking skills are definitely a must! We want people with a 'can do' attitude and initiative to help with cooking and washing up etc.

We have our own vege garden and eat home-grown meat and often wild pork and venison. You will get the opportunity to experience NZ Hunting.
We also milk a small flock of goats and am experimenting with home-made goats cheese.

We have a self-contained flat for volunteers to stay in.
This is a beautiful s... more inside
