Hi, I live up on a hill country farm, with beef and dairy cattle. Horses which I have bred. Close to the coast with wonderful views. In a new home, which is better than most motels, with a private bathroom for helpx people. With solar and wind turbine for power. So only those people who are considerate and do not want to use the power all night and flatten my batteries?

Close to the coast if somebody wants to go fishing.

Please non smokers. Also if you do not intend to come and stay with me, please send a text or email. I have had two lots of people who told me that they were going to arrive and they did not turn up. Most annoying after cooking a nice roast chicken dinner.

I love to paint when I have time.

My gardens always need weeding

I also have horses that need riding and the horses also like to help with the stock work.

It would be great to have a nice person to help me on my
farm and enjoy my lovely home.

I enjoy cooking for my helpers and le... more inside

I am looking for a female who would like free accommodation/power/water in exchange for 14 hours per week (no food) or a graduated scale of less hours for some rent money. I live directly across from the beach and the shopping mall is 3km away. There is a bus station outside the gate.

I have lived in Canada, Australia and traveled to a number of countries and enjoy meeting people from other countries.

The main tasks I would need completed are house cleaning gardening and maybe cooking. Hours are flexible. I would prefer a late riser (sleeping wise). I have two children so there are some restrictions on noise while they are sleeping.

I am a marine biologist who has spent many years in western australia studying the indo pacific bottlenose dolphin and am very interested in local fauna. I also have a piano if anyone can play :)

Current Situation...very quiet and peaceful.

Our motel is on 2 acres of grounds so there are always outdoors maintenance tasks. Because we provide meals for some of our guests, meal preparation and serving adds another dimension to the expected tasks of cleaning and welcoming. We love having folks who can just join in and do whatever is happening.
Our helpXers usually have the motel units and able to cook at the main kitchen, which enables them to be part of everything, and yet have their own `escape` place.

We have just moved to Taupo in March 2018.My husband is a retired Veterinarian and we have decided to renovate and do up houses.
We have 2 properties we are renovating in Taupo and would love to have some help with renovations. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
We have space for 1 or 2 people and love having guests to stay in return for some help with the renovations of the house like stripping wall paper, or painting, demolishing walls, general help with gardens, Weeding, tidying Planting, also inside work depending on what needs doing with the renovations etc.
We are a very easy going family. We prefer people who eat most things, as we find having to cater for vegetarians and the like to be disruptive to grocery/meal planning and activities in the Kitchen. We would treat you as part of our family not unpaid labour.

Our home is 5 minutes from Taupo township and 5 minute walk to Taupo lake. We have kayaks you can use to enjoy the lake and sometimes we also go out on the l... more inside

We run a lifestyle block as naturally as possible to provide food for ourselves and our family. I am a homeopath and incorporate this into our animal and land care. We also have day jobs in town. Our animals include chooks, ducks, cows, sheep, pigs and dogs and we also have a vege garden. We need help with gardening and general lifestyle block work.
In exchange for the help we can offer accommodation, lunch and dinner (we are not breakfast people so you would need to organise breakfast yourself and we do not cater for vegetarians). We are located in a lake side rural environment that is only 15 minutes from Rotorua and easy access to all the tourist attractions. Rotorua is close to beaches and the mountain if you are into snowboarding or skiing, mountain bike tracks, lakes, great walks and much more.
As there is no bus service where we live so you must have your own transport.

Private house with 2 adults and occasionally university son(s) home. Only 7 minutes drive to central Tauranga. On local bus route. We would love someone with construction skills to do some house repairs, including tiling in the kitchen. We also have a garden that needs work. If you have any of these skills, please contact us. We would also welcome someone who could help with some cooking and housework. I work full time and my husband is semi retired and a great cook!

Our house is a mid-century 4 bedroom which we are renovating (slowly) with large gardens that need constant attention. There is a city bus stop nearby and we are 10 minutes drive from the Waipa mountain biking tracks and Whakawerawera thermal village. We are 5 mins drive from downtown Rotorua and the city hot pools. We also have WIFI. We have loved having Helpx. Those helpers who have come to stay with us have done a fabulous job and we have really enjoyed getting to know all of them. There is always gardening, housework and cooking meals. However right now,(mid June 2018) we need help with a second major renovation project inside and out which we need to get done by the end of June! We are non-smokers and mostly organic vegetarian. Trish is an artist and Martin enjoys drumming and mountain biking. Contact us by emailing so we can see your profile, and then text us, especially if you want a quick response as sometimes we dont check our email daily. We look forward to hearing from you.
