Sorry we are fully booked until mid May 2018!

Nau mai, haere mai and welcome...

...to our busy family of 5 humans and Wellington city around us. And you might be the ONE helpxer who could join our brood! Our cultural roots span across Europe and we have travelled quite a bit.

We are a multilingual family; we play lots of music and appreciate a fun and simple lifestyle. We play cards, board games, and enjoy life together. We do a lot of homemade food and baking. Once you enter the door, our kids will see you as part of the family, so make sure you are up for this - come as a stranger but leave as a friend. You sure will learn lots of things about making fermented foods, bake European style bread (... and eat it:), and eat some healthy foods (some meats, veges, fruit, homecooked meals).

My husband is a born musician and will be happy for you to join him just like we all do - but that is your choice. Our oldest (14yr) loves hockey, strategic games and goofing around ... he ... more inside

We need a responsible female 20 yrs+ to help out in an au pair capacity looking after my 9 and 10 yr old children. Hours will be 7-9am and 3-7pm each day, weekends are free. On top of accommodation and food we will pay a reasonable au pair rate and the use of a car for work purposes. We need someone who is responsible, a fluent english speaker, experience with children, light house work skills, cooking skills and an experienced driver with a valid licence. In turn you will have your own furnished room and bathroom, meals, use of a car (which may extend to personal use in weekends for the right person who shows good work ethic and responsibility), lots of free time during the day (working in full time in the school holidays). We are wanting someone who can commit to a decent period of time. Position starts 1 May 2018. We are a family who has had 10 years of experiencing au pairs and we would love to talk to you if you think you're the right person for us!

Domestic 3 bedroom house, in Paekakariki. My partener is often away during the week and I require help from time to time.

I am specifically looking for someone to help me out for the 5 days of 26th Feb to 2nd March, I am a painter and need a hand. there would not be much painting as I am spraying but I need help masking up, covering the floor, and cleaning, its hard to do with just me but easy with a hand ...I can let you know more if it goes ahead.
I have a very friendly dog.
Live close to the sea and you can swim in it when its not rough, its very warm at the moment. Paekakariki also boarders a huge park "Queen Elizabeth park" so there is lots of walks and mountain bike trails close by.

The village 14 ,mins walk away also has a pub, organic grocer, movie theatre, deli, cafe and general store. and some very cool walks "escarpment walk"
There is a train station 10 min walk away and to get to Wellington it costs $11 each way.

Sky TV and sports, unlimited fast internet

4 Paddocks is a a small lifestyle block. We are offering free board and food in return for some odd jobs to be done. Painting fences, gardening, lawn mowing, house work etc.

We are open to all cultures who would like to learn a bit about kiwi culture and in return we learn from helpers about their culture.

The property has one calf and 8 chickens.

The house is a large 4 bedroom home with plenty of space to relax.

My husband ( Lionel ) is in the navy, coming up 42 years, I Vicki, currently just work around the property and keep the gardens up to date.

We look forward to accomodating anyone interested in helping out in return for food and board on a temporary basis as they travel around.

This beautiful organic property is right next to the lovely Akatarawa river.
We believe in making the most of life and building great moments together.
We share the house and all amenities, plus internet access available.
You will have your own cottage which is shared with 3 others, or alternatively you can choose the campervan and share it with one other person.
We give all that we have to offer to try to make our time together meaningful and fun, and if you bring the same attitude with you we are going to have a great time and you will leave with many rewarding memories :0)
Ideally we want people to stay with us two weeks or longer, but happy to consider less time if you don't have much time available to you.
Please call me to find out if we have space available for you!

Hey guys, we basically need help with the household and sometimes some gardening work. It is mostly keeping the house clean and cooking dinner (we eat very early) and sometimes babysitting too. 2 hours for accommodation only and 4 hours for accommodation and meals provided by us (you cook, remember). Let us know if you are keen. Cheers

We are a Dutch/NZ Chinese family with three young children and we live in a modest but cute house in the hills. We have a lovely separate sleep-out (guest room sounds better!) with its own ensuite, looking out over native trees.

At the moment we are pretty settled and don't really need any help, however if you are someone with building/carpentry experience we would love to hear from you! We are looking at building a mezzanine floor in the sleep-out and if you think you would be able to do that for us that would be just amazing. It would be in your own room so we'd have to plan it so you can still sleep there at night! I don't think it would be complicated at all but it needs to be done by someone who knows what they are doing.

We offer free accommodation and food for up to four hours work a day. Fresh eggs from our chickens :-) Hours can be flexible; whether you prefer to do one day on, one day off or four hours every day we are happy either way.

Public transport is availa... more inside
