We are a busy sheep and cattle farm situated in the Motueka Valley, 60 minutes drive from Nelson and close to 3 beautiful National Parks. We also grow flowers and harvest organic walnuts.
The Motueka river runs beside the house and our top farm lies in the beautiful Baton Valley. Both rivers are excellent for fishing, kayaking and swimming. Our farming neighbours operate Baton Run Horse Treks.
We have two children. One at University and one who works from home.
Accommodation is in a cosy sleepout attached to the house with facilities shared with the family.
The work would include a mixture of farm and flower work in the tunnelhouse. Some help required with meals at times.
Depending on the season the work could involve hay making, lambing, shearing, mustering, feeding lambs, harvesting walnuts and weeding or picking flowers.
We eat 90% food grown on the property including fresh milk from the house cow and vegetables.

We need some help pruning our blueberry bushes.

We are a family of four living on a little farm at the foothills of Kahurangi National Park. The pristine Graham River runs along our property. We run a 'pick-your-own' blueberry business, have a home garden, and graze sheep and cows. Jobs will include working in the blueberry patch - pruning in the winter, and mulching, weeding and picking berries in the summer. Other jobs include feeding and moving animals, gardening, mowing, and weed control. We also have renovation and painting jobs for those with carpentry or woodworking experience. We have great river swimming in the summer, and beautiful national parks nearby to explore. We have a good fire to keep cosy in the winter.

We have a small family run olive grove where we press, bottle and label Extra Virgin Olive Oil on the property. As well as work on the grove, we are also looking for help with a variety of projects on the property, including landscaping, gardening, cooking and cleaning. We look to having helpers to stay initially for one to two weeks with the option to extend if we all get along and there`s still work to be done.
We have 2 spare bedrooms as our two sons have now left home. One room has a queen size bed and the other has zip and link beds so can be used as two singles or a king size double. Any helpers would share our home with Susan, Jonathan, our 16 year old daughter, two cats and a very friendly dog! We have travelled extensively and enjoy meeting people from other countries. (Jonathan was born in England, Susan in Fiji, though she moved to NZ as a young child, our eldest son was born in Kenya, the next son in Abu Dhabi and our daughter was born in Cyprus!)

Kia Ora Helpexers, I live in central Nelson and need some willing hands to help with some projects on my urban house and garden project. Mainly outside gardening and landscaping jobs, some heavy digging and carrying so being tough and keen is essential. I prefer happy couples who like working together.

My house is a meat free house and I love cooking and sharing social times. 15min walk to town or 5 min bike ride.

3 hrs work a day in exchange for accommodation which is a double bed in my spare room. Unlimited wifi. Shared evening meals- self catering other meals.

The comfortable farm house is situated on a ridge-top over looking the Waimea plains. It was run as backpacker accommodation. But now is really just a big flat of 6 people aged from 30 to 55 .. but mostly young at heart. I also run a Milk delivery business so the work is very varied. I try and find something that suits what you like to do. I also have paid work availbe if you are staying more than six months and have a work visa, and drivers license ... Come and enjoy the 30 hectare farm currently running cattle and goats ... Looking for someone that wants to get involved in NZ living.
