My 3 small children and i live on this beautiful block 2km from the beach and 7km from town. We grow vegetables and have many fruit trees as well as ducks and chickens.
There is also a healthy area of bush that makes a great camping ground. The property backs onto national park and reserve,Mt Hallowell and Monkey Rock.
Most work around the place is in tending to the garden, fruit trees and grass control. You would need to enjoy kids and there may be some child minding involved too if appropriate. Other jobs to choose from based on interest and skills include gardening, chain sawing, painting and gardening.
We are really keen on our children meeting people from all over the world and being exposed to different cultures and ways.
We have a caravan set up for our helpers so you have your own space.

Most of the farm is currently leased whilst we landscape and establish a garden and renovate the historic homestead first. We do though have twenty five sheep and three alpacas that need daily feeding, and will lamb in June-July. The eventual aim is to share farm with my brother who lives close by and has about 300 hectares and hundreds of sheep.
Apart from care of the animals I need help with the vegetable garden, to finish some dry stone walls and general tidying around the garden and sheds, and maintenance of the historic shearing shed and sheep yards. There is some indoor and out door painting available and the need to drive the ute over the whole farm and pick up old fencing wire and any debris that has acculturated over time.

We are elderly and I also care for my 90 yr old mother. We are fit and work hard but enjoy what we are doing. My mother is frail but very bright and loves young company.

The property is between Northam (a regional centre) and York, a small rural ... more inside

Hello Hepful Helpers :)

We have space for 1-2 full time / part time helpers in a shared room, from Now. You can stay for 2-6 weeks, with a one-week trial initially.

We are a spiritually inclined (non denominational and non religious) and slightly strangely structured family - currently we are 3 adults and 2 kids. Our house and lifestyle are modest and in some ways unusual, as we are a family that is more interested in joy than in historical social conventions. So if you can enjoy living outside of the box a little, you will enjoy living here.

We are interested in harmony, and we are always keen to talk about all kinds of meditation, world music and dance, natural farming, co-operative economics, etc. we would be keen to go deep into most subjects, and you might be challenged by our way of seeing thing, but we will not impose our ideas on anyone, as independent minds are our first priority. our interest in creating harmony doesnít always mean we manage to ach... more inside

Greetings:) We are currently taking singles & couples. We are a small family living on quiet 3 acres in Parkerville, in the Perth Hills, 20 minutes drive from Midland railway station. Own transport is best for you but the bus is a 10 minute walk away or 5 minutes - depending which bus you catch. This takes you to Midland train station, with access into Perth City. Sorry, we do not have time to take you sightseeing. You need to be prepared to catch the bus, or have your own vehicle.

We are self-employed, and a busy family. You need to provide food for your own breakfast and lunch and prepare for yourselves. You will have unrestricted access to use of the kitchen. We provide evening meals which are usually shared casually. We sometimes request you help with preparing what we are planning for dinner. We hope you always help with washing dishes after dinner, as well as wiping the benches and generally keeping the kitchen tidy. We are usually very tired by the end of the day. Hello out there! We would very much appreciate the help of two English speakers, preferably with a vehicle or a driver's licence, for the two weeks 30 July - 14 August. We are preparing to have our garden open in the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival to raise funds for the building of a new school in a Cambodian village.
You would stay upstairs in our rammed earth and timber house, with your own bathroom downstairs, and share the rest of the house and the wi-fi with us.The room is warm as heat from our woodfire goes up, and there's a heater in the room if nneded.
Since we retired from work in Perth we have been living in this lovely, wilder place and travelling when we can, so we enjoy the company of young travellers as well as appreciating your help. Brian was a university professor of Australian History, and I was a language teacher, so am happy to help you improve your English if you want.

We would like you to work for 4 or 5 hours a day for 5 days out of 7 (days and time... more inside

Hello :)

We live on 10 acres of land in a beautiful part of the world called Denmark. At the moment we have no spare room, so itís a day bed in the lounge in exchange for teaching my daughter French and making the occasional meal :) ( seeking French speakers!!!)

We are a happy cruisy bunch, two families living here, my two kids are 12 and 17, we are pretty relaxed about most things. I study full time (midwifery) We live a short bush walk to town so transport is not needed if you don't mind walking or riding bikes. Must be active, self motivated, low maintenance guests and must love kids! We have a horse, two dogs, a cow and chooks.

Thanks for reading and blessings on your travels!! :)
