Hello there!

*we now have one space left in our female staff dorm for the summer - immediate housekeeping start*

We are looking for helpers to join our hostel family for the 2019 summer season, living by the beach in St Ives, Cornwall,

Cohort is a 60 bed backpackers that caters for different guests; from international backpackers, independent travelers, families, walkers and surfers to seasonal workers. (people who work a summer season in St Ives).

As such, we're a great place to meet new people or practice languages and we're within walking distance of four beaches, including Porthmeor surfing beach.

St Ives is a beautiful busy seaside town (google it) located in remote west Cornwall; we're surrounded by cliffs, beaches, stunning scenery and some amazing attractions.

Nearby we have St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre (both must-sees), Lands End and tin mines.

Although busy in summer, the town is something of a peaceful haven during the early and later pa... more inside

We run a small, attractive 4 bedroom guest house, in picturesque St Ives Cornwall, England, which has 4 stunning sandy beaches and a working harbour. Our guesthouse is very close to the surfing Porthmeor Beach. Its an idyllic place to spend a few weeks volunteering.

We are offering a part-time opportunity for 4 weeks,(depending on your availability), ideally covering the period between July 10th - August 10th 2019.

We are flexible on timings and happy to discuss your preferred arrival and departure dates.

Approx 13-16 hours per week - spread across 6 mornings - usually sometime between 9.00 am - 12.00 pm depending on the schedule for that day.

Therefore, 1 full day per week, as well as all afternoons and evenings are free. Leaving plenty of down time for the volunteer, which is particularly good news for any EU citizens who may wish to seek a part-time temporary job, outside of guest house hours. Please note, if you wish to do this, apply for a National Insurance Num... more inside

One or two mature people welcome to spend some time in South West Wales. We have an old building in the garden that requires some work, mixed with gardening, cleaning, dog walking, and general help, nothing on the list is compulsory, so if you don't like gardening don't let that put you off coming to visit this wonderful part of the country. Any skills, and jack-of-all-trades especially welcome, but as long as you are willing helpers come along and enjoy. Double room available for 1 or 2 persons, central heating, TV, Wi-Fi, Home cooked food, Garden Barbecues, and in a great position to explore the beautiful location. We are a coastal walk from Strumble Head, and we have seals, and the occasional dolphin in the area. Pickup and drop-off from the local station or ferry port. 4 hours a day, plenty of free time, either on your own or with us. Non-smokers only.

Hi. Thanks for looking at our profile.

We are currently looking for help working round the garden and with log processing (with a machine)and stacking.

This is what we are about in a nutshell:

We are about nourishing mind, body & soil. Our lodge is a secluded, easily accessible guest house and retreat space offering bed and breakfast and group space with stunning views of the Scottish countryside in the Kingdom of Fife. It is a place where guests can just "be".

You will be supporting us in making the above guest experience possible.

We value authenticity, integrity, honesty and self-awareness.

We have put together this outline as a result of our hosting experience so far. We find that it helps to clarify what is on offer at Cherry Tree Lodge and what is expected of someone who comes to support what we offer. Expectations have a greater chance of being met for both parties which can lead to a more all-round, fulfilling experience.

We are looking for people who ... more inside

We are a busy family of 5, living the perfect life in Somerset close to Glastonbury (perfect except that we have too much to do). We have a large garden in need of lots of work. We are needing at least two people to help tidy and prepare the garden for spring, to help manage a woodland where all of the undergrowth needs clearing and do various other outdoor activities such as build a new shed. Meals will be provided and accommodation is in a room attached to our house but with a separate outside entrance.

Hi Everyone,

Having spent time volunteering and working in Europe several years ago, I set up a small language academy in Leeds for adults who are studying English.

We`re now looking for volunteers in the summer months of July and August.

We`re looking for friendly people who are native English speakers, and who would be interested in staying in our flats with the students helping them practise their English. This could be speaking English with them socially and at meal times, assisting them in their volunteer work, or taking them out on trips to nearby places of interest. If you`re interested in seeing the area, it`s a great way to do it as we pay for your expenses.

In general, you will be completely free in the mornings, and then you will do a 5 hour shift either in the afternoon (2-7pm) or the evening (6:30-11:30pm).

You won`t be expected to teach any English lessons, however if you are TEFL qualified this is a definite plus for us, so please let us know.

A 200 year old cotswold stone house located in a small village near Stroud. It has a good size garden on a slope with woodland above and is located in a conservation area within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty backing on to the Toadsmoor valley. The house is 25 mins walk from Stroud town centre and has recently undergone major refurbishment which is still ongoing. There are a few shops in the village as well as a pub nearby. The house is surrounded with the hills and countryside on your doorstep...great for forest walks and there are lovely lakes to swim in nearby.. English, Spanish and French is spoken. Helpers stay can camp in the garden in and share facilities like kitchen and bathroom with others in the house. We aim to work an average of 5 hours per day, 5 days p/week.
