I have a room in the house available in september until the second week in october and could do with some handy people who might know a little plumbing and wood work, although the work will be varied, watering the tunnels, minding the chickens and house when I am at work and weeding, weeding and of course weeding!! 20 hrs a week for full board. I'll be doing holiday relief in my shops around the country, and plant fairs, so there will be weeks when I am away, but there will be plenty of people around to help anyone who is staying and anyone who applies should like to have the place to themselves sometimes. The mobile home is occupied by Siorcha who is 24 and Luka who is 11, the little house is occupied by Manus who works at Future Forests. They are all lovely people,
The tunnels up the top only operate part time, but Eleanor and Tiarnan will be around. My Son Jack is the only one at home now, he will help you with the work, he's great fun to be with, speaks fluent French and is ... more inside

Hi, My name is Emma and I am a 33-year-old mother of 3, We live on a busy dairy farm and have 3 small children 2 boys and a girl (5, 3 1/2 and 18 months).
We would love someone to come and stay with us in September. A long stay would be great for us but willing to look at short stays too.
Duties would include helping me with the housework and looking after the children. We are moving into the farmhouse next week (mid-August) so we will be trying to make the house our own. Helping with the decorating would be great but not required of you.
You would have your own bedroom off the playroom.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us.
A driving licence is a plus as we live in quite a remote area with very little public transport.

The area we live in is beautiful with beaches, castles and heritage sites close by.

Help URGENTLY needed for August. We have been let down without warning by our August 'booking'. Are you available? Please get in touch.

Hello 2018 volunteers! We welcome applications for April 2018 onwards till about October. However if you need a week in the winter it is still worth asking -we may be able to help. It would be all winter jobs (logging, pruning, tidying etc) then and may get rained off but if that's OK then do contact us.

Hi from a relaxed, friendly nearly-retired couple who love to 'host' and welcome our volunteers as if they were family. We are a 1 hectare smallholding with sheep, poultry, pigs (in summer), an out of control vegetable garden and plenty of 'wild' bits, in NW Roscommon. You are welcome to try some (fully supervised) livestock tasks at the appropriate times of year (moving stock, dealing with families of baby chicks, sheep shearing and foot trimming etc). We try to give guests a mix of jobs and nothing too awful! You will get mowing and tidying... more inside
