I am a 40 year old woman, I have lived for 5 years on 9 hectares of land with 9 horses and a dog. The place is very peaceful, very natural, far from the urban hubbub, ideal for recharging one's batteries. I live in a small self-built wooden house.
You can sleep in your truck or your tent, I have a caravan available and a space under the roof of the house.
The work mainly revolves around gardening, wooden constructions, various arrangements, maintenance of fences (brush cutting, woodcutting), the place is open to creation.(plastic arts, music...)
If you are experienced in the field of horses, we can share moments with them (work in animal traction, care, walks, support for activities).
I teach communication on foot and mounted with horses for children and adults, through an approach or the relationship with the animal predominates.
The meals are simple with the production of the garden, the consumption of meat is rare thing.
We will organize together so that everyone's rhythm a... more inside

We are a Dutch/French vegetarian couple with 2 horses, 4 dogs, and two chickens. We speak French, Dutch, English, German and Italian.
We need some help in May/June 2020 for at least two weeks on the land, in the wood, in the garden, in our big house (some painting) and with the animals. The person who wants to live an experience with us has to love animals because for us they are like our family !
There is already a person working for us to do the house cleaning. You work one day and one day off or we can discuss about it. No work on Sunday. We offer breakfast and dinner.
You will have your own bedroom and bathroom.
We live in the center of the beautiful Côtes d'Armor 35 minutes from the Ocean. The Guerlédan lake is not far from here, where there are nautical activities. In the area there are also many possibilities for horse riding, bike riding and hiking.
You need a car or at least a driving licence. There are also bikes at your disposition.
Hope to hear from you soon !

I would like to invite you to spend some time in this magnificent area in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
The mount 'Canigou' seems planted at the edg of my garden,2874 m above the sealevel and sacred for all Catalans.Looking on Prades as from a balkony,a pleasant house to live.
Every 23th of June 'la trobada' assembles Catalans from the north as from the south (Spain), a huge fire is made on top and brought down to multiples towns and villages where there's music and dancing celebrating summer solstice.
While staying at my place I'd love you to discover all this, easy and so cheap ( for 1 euro one way ride on bus or train) trough the whole department!
I will need trees to be cut and other cleaning up, having experience with a chainsaw is a plus!
Otherwise some gardening, mending the acces to the site, little jobs on an around the house...
Accommodation in the house or tent, according to what's available.
I ask 5 hrs/day,5 days week work for board + 3 meals a d... more inside

An authentic stone barn from 1880 is transformed a a self sufficient house fully off the grid ... water is coming from own source and energy is produce by solar panels and all the land is getting transformed in a food forest ... from chestnut trees, hazelnuts, apple, pear, peach, cherry.

Guest can stay either in nicely healthy restored caravan or tents in the forest ... so you have you r own spot and intimacy ...

We're a few people living in the Pyrenees mountains (south of france near mediterannee sea), a place isolated from road and town.

Our main goal is to restore the potential of the old little village La Coume to allow people to live there.

We run different projects: organic gardening, raising animals (chickens, goats, donkeys, horses), rebuilding ruins with old methods, making our own energy.

I am looking for people to help me 6 hours per days 4 days a week. I expect autonomus people who are not afraid to work hard and walk.
People need to be able to reach us by foot, work independently, cook for everyone, do a bit of housekeeping.
You must be aware that it's not a holiday center...

In exchange I will be happy to give them food, housing, activities happening around in the valley, trekking and exchange knowledge. You will be lodged in a commune house with a dry toilet outside.

Most of work is hard and outside: building with stones, electric fences, clean the fields, ... more inside

Small farm with sheep, geese, chickens, ducks and rabbits. We try to be as sustainable and organic as possible. We have 2 lakes and find our property to be a haven of tranquility yet 2 minutes to a town and 1 hour to the coast. Perfect! And we have a pool and jaccuzzi for chill out times. We always need help-, setting up animal shelters and fencing, building and renovating and creating our lovely eco gite business. Experience building is very welcome but energy and enthusiasm is equally welcome! accomodation will be in a caravan or in the house if preferred.
We are a couple with an 21 year old daughter (plus another 2 daughters who live aborad). I am an estate agent and Dave does renovation work. WE love the outdoor life, swimming and doing fires and barbecues. We love going kayaking and cycling. We are new to helpx but have had lovely experiences with "Wwoofers" in Ireland and France. We love to meet new people and share experiences and cultures and share our lives and this speci... more inside
