Active energetic young couple invite assistance in establishing general farm and garden chores. In return, use of self contained cottage (two small bedrooms) near main house (photo). Food not supplied. Experience with animals and especially horses would be an advantage, or of construction, woodwork or home maintenance. Very quiet peaceful area. Suited to a couple, or families; only for a single person who REALLY loves remote places, animals and nature. At least one of you would need to be 25 years of age + with a driving licence, so as to be covered by farm car insurance cover (unless you have your own car, recommended). There are bicycles. The nearest shop is 4 miles(1.5K)away, and nearest town, 12 miles(19K). Good surfing beaches,Irish music and wonderful walking country within 20 miles. Minimum stay one month.Preference given to long-stay guests, and there is the possibility of a six month stay if you are the help we need.

We are a family of 3 who live in a cottage 5 kilometres from the vibrant town of Clonakilty, West Cork. We grow vegetables for ourselves. We want to restore some old stone out buildings, this summer we plan to build a natural roof so any skills or experience in this area would be very welcome.
Your accomodation will be a large comfortable mobile home with distant sea views. It is very peaceful here as we live at the end of a lane and there is no passing traffic. Just the sound of bird song. We are 4k from the nearest village Timoleague and 5k from the nearest town Clonakilty which is famed for it live music. There are many beautiful beaches in this area and many scenic walks.
There is free Internet access and the use of washing machine.
We would like some help please.

Seeking helpers for May and June!

Spring is the most beautiful time of year to visit the Irish countryside with lambs and calves in the fields and everything in bloom.

Our house is at the top of Kilross hill with the majestic Galtee Mountains and the Glen of Aherlow (voted Irelands top inland destination 2013) to the south and beautiful the Golden Vale to the north. Our home offers soul-nourishing tranquility and scenic beauty.

There are mountain, hill, river and forest paths nearby so it's ideal if you like hiking, and with three megalithic tombs and a 12th century Abbey all within walking distance this area is also great for history and heritage enthusiasts.

Ideally we would like two people to come together: one who would help Johnny outside and one who can take over the housework while Joanne gets her new business up and running.

The outside worker will be helping Johnny, a carpenter by trade, with garden maintanence, keeping the firewood stocked, painting the ho... more inside

We are a busy and dynamic bunch of people who are passionate about plants and the environment, we love to travel and enjoy meeting new people from around the world. We are the second generation running a natural plant nursery that was established by family back in 1986. We are based about 15 minutes drive from Bantry, a busy market town in rural West Cork. We were originally a sawmill supplying local timber but we moved from that to supplying plants and we are now a busy mail order nursery, however the unusual wooden buildings are a reminder of the saw mill days! We are passionate about plants and we supply a very wide range, we focus on supplying native, usefull and fruitful plants and have a very unique and beautiful nursery.
We have lots of nursery development on the go, stone wall building, tree work, building paths as well as general nursery work, weeding, watering, potting etc. We also have a wooden cabin that needs to be fixed up so carpentry skills would be great for that, ... more inside

We are looking for an enthusiastic social media whizz to come stay with us and do about 2 days/20 hours per week in return.

We are a growing bamboo business in Ireland. Started up 3 years ago we are the sole suppliers of bamboo in Ireland. What we do is quite unique: from general sales to wholesale to manufacturing of bamboo products. Our team here is quite small and we would like to have an intern that can work in a very close knit business.

Anyone interested in our offer should get to know our business, find out what we do via our website, facebook, twitter and wordpress blog. Naturally we require a very high standard of English.

We offer accommodation and transport to and from our premises on working days. We are not adverse to the intern taking up additional part-time work on days off.

I am living in Galway city with my three year old daughter. We are living in a two bedroomed house and are looking for someone (female) to come and stay with us in exchange for some childminding. We live 15 minutes walk to the city centre, in a quiet estate. We live quite alternatively, are vegetarian, and sometimes eating raw food. I study antenatal teaching and need to have a childminder so I can spend time studying. My daughter is sociable but is not used to spending much time away from me so we need someone who is understanding and compassionate. The childminder would need a good level of English and be adventurous and imaginative!
The childminding is exchanged for accommodation and shared food costs or cooking if this suits.
