We are a young family living on our mixed cropping/sheep farm 1 hour east of Perth. There's always jobs to do! We're always looking for people to help with jobs around the house paddock; painting, gardening, expanding our veggie patch, planting paddock trees and odd jobs as well as daily tasks helping around the house, feeding horses, chickens, dogs etc. There is limited farm work available (cropping, tractor driving, sheep work etc.) so this is NOT suitable for a visa extension. It is a great chance to spend some time out of the city on a beautiful farm with lots of opportunities to enjoy the Australian bush.
We have young children and lots of pets so our house is always busy! Experience with kids would be a plus.
A few hours a day work in exchange for meals and accommodation in our home with own bedroom and bathroom available. Campervans/tents/caravan also welcome.
We love traveling and love meeting other travelers and we look forward to opening our doors and repaying the ho... more inside

We are on a large family run broad acre cropping and livestock farm. We farm wheat, barley, canola, lupins and also have 3500 sheep and 100 cattle.

Helpers could be doing a large variety of activities. Odd jobs could include (but not limited to) sheep work, general farm work, building, painting, gardening, housework or childminding.

We have large areas of natural bush and fresh water lakes which means there are plenty of water birds and kangaroos to see.

We have self contained accomodation in our 'shearers quarters' which has its own kitchen, loungeroom, bedrooms, bathroom and laundry.

We offer flexible hours and days with all meals and accomodation supplied.
