Our property is set up for Arabian horses competing in the sport of Endurance. That is long distance racing.A helper would be required to be primarily capable of assisting with training and feeding. Any other attributes that a person can bring to a small horse property will be well regarded. Fence mending, carpentry or even administration skills. Perhaps you like cooking and general household chores.
The helper will join us in our house for both food and accommodation with there own bedroom and separate on-suite facilities. The house has WiFi available.
We are located south of Perth approx 60k. Our nearest town is Mandurah approx 12 mins by car. If you are a good driver a car will be provided on a limited basis. Mandurah is a coastal town and our beaches are 5 mins by car. Limited surf is available for the enthusiast! We have great weather for most of the year. Our winter months are June to September.

Hi, we live in a large house in Albany overlooking the Port. When the whales are in we get a great view! Its about 10/15 min walk to town or a bit longer walk the other way to the beach.
We're looking for a friendly girl who is good with children. Liking to cook would be a real bonus! If you come and stay with us you would become part of our family for a weeks trial, and perhaps longer after that, sharing our dinner times, in exchange for about 3 hours domestic work a day.
No smoking or alcohol in the house.
One son speaks Japanese.

We have a Bd farm growing some vegetables, running beef cattle, building some kind of structures, gardening, pruning, planting trees, fencing, and all sorts of other things. Brett is a full time farmer, and does a little building. Leonie works as a nurse and does shift work. There 3 grown children live with them sometimes but are generally on the move. Accomodation is in a rustic cottage next door with a separate bathroom. Meals are shared with the family, taking turns with domestic chores as well. We do not want smokers, heavy drinkers or people interested in a wild life here. Our home is simple and warm, our farm is close to forest and local wild animals. We are meat eaters and provide much of our own food needs. We are also busy people who try and get away for breaks sailing, bush walking and chilling out somewhere special when possible.

Beef farm and truffel orchard.

Our property is situated in the Southern Forest area of the South West of Western Australia. We have 80 acres in grass and 60 acres in native forest. We are one and a half kms out of the small town of Northcliffe which has a general store, post office, cafe, art gallery, hotel and Tourist Information Center. There are many walks through the national park which surrounds Northcliffe. We are 27kms from Windy Harbour which has beautiful beaches and look-outs from the walks along the cliff tops. We are approximately 120kms from Walpole which has the Tree Top walk through the Valley of the Giants. Our nearest towns are Pemberton and Manjimup, both less than an hour away.

It is a good 5 hour drive from Perth and the only public transport is the Australind Train from Perth to Bunbury, which then connects by bus to Northcliffe. It is a daily service continuing from Northcliffe to Albany.

We would like some help with general farm and orchard wor... more inside

*** I AM BOOKED UP AND ALSO TRAVELLING WITH WORK - NO STAYS AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT!!***

A 20 acre farmlet in the Perth Hills, less than an hour from the centre of the city (approx 55km), surrounded by forest/recreation reserve land, opposite bridle/cycle/walk trails. It is a very scenic part of Perth hills.

The property is a recreational farm, not a commercial one - Breeding ponies/horses.

Aside from the horses there are two friendly dogs, in the family.

There is a permanent creek and natural wetlands on the property, with plenty of wild birds and the odd kangaroo.

There is a bus stop at the front of the property, so public tranport anywhere within Perth is not too difficult.

The house is very comfortable and guests would have their own bedroom, bathroom (with spa bath), toilet, etc. There are two guest rooms which can accommodate couples or singles.

The work involved could vary depending on the skills of the guest - anything from helping with the horses, t... more inside
