A small organic family fruit farm in a beautful secluded valley overlooking the Rio Grande valley and a 'biosphere area' Natural Park, the Sierra de las Nieves. There is wonderful walking and cycling to be had in the area. We are near two traditional 'white villages', and an easy bus drive from Malaga and the spectacular town of Ronda. There is mobile phone coverage normally.

The house is 'organic' too, very open and sunny, with solar-heated water and wood-stove. Accommodation for helpers is a very good mobile home with water and electricity. I need help in the house and kitchen especially, and at times with our lively children (Julian and Maya, 9, and 5) and of course there is always scope for help in the outdoors. Wwoof volunteers may also be
helping us at the same time. We have a group of very good friends and neighbours in the area, who receive volunteers too, so it is quite a social place at times, and we are working with them too to improve the use of the abundant fru... more inside

There are a couple of possibilities in our homestay, depending on the moment in the year. It can be near Madrid, or in the country. Please ask if you have interest on it. The exchange only includes homestay, no food or extra costs.

The helper will be responsible of his/ her space, but the voluntary work is only language exchange. We also welcome artist or researchers while doing an activity related with their production.

It is also possible to stay while doing a certain academic activity. There is a university very near that offers different lessons, ideal to learn Spanish.

The ideal start date is in September.

Hey dear people out there wishing to learn and contribute, to travel and share. My name is Iris. I'm living close to Caspe, province of Zaragoza.

These days I could use a hand in restoring furniture and energy for keeping blackberry brambles short around the garden. Recently we created a circle of friends that try to live off the grid in the area. We help each other meeting once a month, rotating from project to project. It is such fun and spring of happiness.
I’m (still) reconstructing the house I´m living in and looking after for the garden around it. Step by step, “with a little help of a friend”.
Even though my house is now comfortable to live in, there are still a number of things I´d like to improve. Most importantly I´m looking for someone to create a pair of window shutters, woodwork. However, there are always new projects coming up, whether it´s creating a comfortable and friendly room where I can host workshops, finishing the living room/eating area or sewing some cu... more inside

No availability until 24th August. We do require help from 24th-4th September - 4 strong enthusiastic friends would be perfect. Preparing the grove for late September harvesting. thank you.

Hi!
We grow olives by the organic method in our olive grove on the outskirts of a village called Alora near Malaga. We have 10 acres of land and approximately 500 trees. When we purchased the grove in May 2013, it had been abandoned for over 4 years - some of the trees are over 200 years old. We are therefore working to restore the grove.

We are looking for volunteers (couples or friends please) who would like to experience and learn how to restore and maintain an organic farm. Subject to the time of year that you volunteer, the help we would require would range from removing shoots, weeding, picking olives, chopping firewood, stone wall building, painting and building an irrigation system. If you have IT knowledge that would be a bonus! We will ask that you do some house cleanin... more inside
