We have beautiful (usually)green property on acres situated on two farms. We provide farmstay accommodation usually for overseas guests. Have a struggling organic veggie garden because it is presently very hot in Victoria. We also have cattle, some seasonal sheep, peacocks, turkeys, emus, chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, a couple of horses (l draft),3 cats, (One goes visiting)and one kelpie farm dog which has not got enough work. There are interesting sheds. There is a large lawn which constantly needs mowing with the large mower and a pretty cool garden with interesting bits around the place.

Hi! We're a little family who live on a small hobby farm. We have sheep, ducks, chickens & bees. We have 2 cats. We have veges and fruit and nut trees. We do things like preserving food, making cordial and jam, drying herbs.

In exchange for accommodation and 3 meals a day, we'd like help around the house for 5 hours a day. This could include helping in the gardens: weeding, mowing, whipper snipping, harvesting, netting fruit trees or pruning. We have some larger projects like setting up structures, building a garden shed, setting up fencing. We have some building projects like building shelving for the house and demolishing features outside we no longer need.

We could use help in the kitchen with meal preparation, preserving what we harvest by making jam, drying, bottling or making cordial.

Finally we can always use help cleaning around the house e.g. washing windows, sweeping, and general household chores.

We have a guest room with a double bed and it's own ... more inside

This is a retreat space IN THE CITY NOT IN THE BUSH. A walking labyrinth, accommodation, a handmade space in which to plant the seeds of your own handmade life.

Currently we are in finish the BLITZ MODE - a funky workshop space and garden around the labyrinth are close to complete.

In November I'm looking for a great CARPENTER and HARD LANDSCAPING skills for about a week of work each.

For the CARPENTER there are: shelves to cut and fit, attach doors to frames, build a cupboard, build box seats, hang a mirror that sort of thing.

The HARD LANDSCAPING includes:
level paths, lay crazy pavers, mortar bricks, plant some trees, that sort of thing.

This is all in preparation for SUMMER SOLSTICE. It's an amazing time - the new labyrinth has been laid and you'll be part of creating a legacy. That's sort of nice.
HOPE TO READ FROM YOU! thanks, Tina

Property is situated in National Park by lake and ocean. Moved here few months ago and need help around bush garden to clear from dry leaves and branches in bush fire prevention. Bit of digging and planting will be involved with huge appreciation. Also need help around the house with interior designing and general handy household jobs.
I live by myself with a dog and lots of wildlife creatures so it's important the person must be an animal lover. We're all here extremely ECO friendly living happy and thankful for every coming day.
I'm originally from Warsaw-Poland living in Australia for 32yrs.
This is my short story.
Would love to hear from You and maybe very soon have "a cuppa" (Aussie term for cup of tea/coffee)on my balcony overlooking the surrounding waters and wildlife.
Regards, Eva

A stunning bush environment with abundant birdlife and animals located close to Daylesford VIC. We are developing a wonderful permaculture property with various animal and aquaculture systems and need people who are willing to help us out with a series of building and renovating projects, gardening and general home maintenance.

We are offering self-contained, self-catered accommodation in a 2 bedroom bungalow (see last 3 photos, the cottage is separate from our house) in exchange for 2-3 days per week work on our property. You will mainly provide your own food, though we would love to share evening meals with you where possible to get to know you, and you us!

We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 children aged 4 and 1) who are very easy to get along with and we are seeking people who are friendly, non-smokers, courteous and respectful of personal space.

Booked up until April 20th.......Hi, My name is Susie. My children have grown up and their touring around the world, just like you. I'm here in the family home and finding all of the chores a little overwhelming, there is always something to do here, In other words, I need a bit of a hand. I grow lots of vegetables ( organic ) I'm a pretty good cook, so you will get fed well. My property is rural, it is 15 minutes from the closest railway station. Puffing billy is close by, almost everyone that comes to Melbourne wants to go on Puffing Billy. My property backs onto a forest with many beautiful walks. I'm also close to lots of tourist attractions if you have a car as i am in the Dandenong Ranges. The type of work I need done is light mowing, weeding, general housekeeping skills, windows, gutters, washing down paved areas, all easy stuff. Im also needing someone to help me finish building my chicken coop. If you can do more than this, then that's great. My home is warm, ... more inside

My husband (a builder) and I (Community Worker) live on a 5 acre property in Bass Coast Shire which has beautiful beaches and rolling farmland, 95klms from Melbourne. In exchange we offer one week stay, all food and a separate self contained unit with comfy bed, great valley views and dinner (Aussie lamb roast!) with us on at least 2 nights plus a siteseeing trip to local places of interest eg. Phillip Island, beaches and hills. We both enjoy good company and welcome people to our place.

Due to illhealth I am unable to share my home at present.
I'll let you know when I am back on top!!!

I live in an old handcrafted mud-brick and rammed-earth home surrounded by State Forest and farmland, 130 kms north west of Melbourne.

There are lots of lovely birds - parrots, thrushes, galahs, wrens, tree creepers - a twitcher's paradise! as well as kangaroos, echidnas, little lizards and (probably) snakes...there are sheep, horses, alpacas and cattle in the neighbours' paddocks.

The land around here was sluiced and mined for gold in the 1850s and consequently there is very little topsoil. It is an historical area with deep mines in the bush as well as the possibility of finding gold. Lovely little historical towns around here, too.

I live 4 kms from the nearest little village and there is no light pollution - night skies are amazing! The nearest town with a train station is 20 kms away but I can collect you from there if necessary.
My sons are grown up and I now live... more inside
