We relocated from Australia to NZ in 2018, therefore our earlier reviews for are our previous location.

We are a family of 6, Amber, Richard, our 3 young boys Kahlil, Tasman and Jeorgy and baby Fern. We live in the beautiful Parua bay area and are establishing our farm using permaculture principles and organic methods. Meals are mixed, vegetarian and meat, using all our own organic produce and game of our farm, and will be with us. We are only 15 mins from Whangarei city, and very close to many beautiful walks, beaches, and places of interest. Work is varied, including, gardening, animal care, building, fencing, home help. Thanks for reading, look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,
We are looking for some help to tidy up our garden and orchard .
Our property is 8 km out of Whangarei with beautiful views and a comfortable home.
We have a lovely sleepout in the garden for people to stay. We are a married couple in our 60s with 2 little dogs and 2 cats, plus 3 alpacas on our paddock. We speak german and english.
We live a short distance from the sea, harbour and open beaches and have 4 kayaks that can be used. Our township is beautiful with an amazing marina right in the centre. The climate here is mild/subtropical. The population is multicultural and colourful.
We love music and have a singing group at our home and leading peacedances in town.
We choose healthy food and practise yoga and meditation.
We love meeting new people young and old and look forward to hearing from you.
Please respect our no smoking, no drugs and only light alcohol expectations.

This home is about midway between Kaiwaka and Maunguturoto on a rural road; it would be easier for you if you had a car; it's 20 minutes to the sea at Mangawhai Heads or Waipu Cove and 90 minutes to Auckland (depends on traffic).
The house is a Kauri built house of about 1900 set in an acre of mostly wood and lawns. It's quiet and rural, a home with a comforting vibe (NO smoking - sorry)
We'd like people who can stay for a few days or up to two weeks if it suits.
(Due to family plans we are not looking for people to come after December 15th.)

WHAT DO WE NEED HELP WITH? Garden work. Encourage the right things to grow and help beat the weeds. There is an old sleepy dog and a lively cat .
4 hours help a day in return for great home and facilities.
You get a Comfy large bed, TV, DVD, Freeview Broadband/wi-fi.
Local gym/library/cafes shops 15 mins drive
I am afraid we only speak English. Bob is vegetarian though happy for you to eat what suits you.

One of our guests described Pukeruru as 'a creative lab of life.' Our comprehensive studio complex and bush-clad environment is where we explore everything from the importance of creative process to the challenges of shaping a permaculture landscape. We like our guests to stay for at least one week to fully understand our philosophy and to ensure we share our culture and love of land and sea.
We are located at Wairahi Langs Beach about 1.5 hours by car north of Auckland city. Wairahi is known as one of the best beaches in Aotearoa/NZ. After 10 years of development our place is a complex we have built ourselves from nothing but bare land including a purpose-built and well equipped studio and gallery and private/guest accommodation for our visitors. The beautiful elevated site is about 5 mins bush walk from the beach. About 3000 native NZ trees and shrubs have been planted and more planting and development is ongoing. Accommodation is in comfortable cabins and permanent safari style... more inside

We are a family of 4 with 2 young school age children, who love to travel & love meeting & hosting guests from all over the world. We live on 1 acre in a beautiful area on the outskirts of Whangarei (10 minutes to the city and 10 minutes to the Tutukaka Coast). We have a large, newly renovated home and we are looking for 1 to 2 people who would be happy to do gardening work in return for accommodation and evening meals (sorry unable to cater for vegetarians or allergies). You would be given your own space in the family home 2 bedrooms available with private bathroom. Completely flexible hours, but we would ask for around 4 hours work per day (for each night stayed), happy for the hours to be combined into blocks of work to give you more time to explore. You will need your own vehicle. Stay can be 2 nights to 1 week.

Hi, my name is Libby and i have three awesome kids, my son Atariki is 11, Amara is 6 and Skye is 2..
I love to welcome anyone into our home who is happy to join in with daily life and help out with the kids, garden or housework. I would really love someone to come and stay for a longer period of time and really become part of our family. I love to meet new people and share and help them as much as possible.I love how helpex can provide so many benefits for helpers and hosts.
We have a fun and busy life with the kids, but are friendly and relaxed. We live in a great area with many beautiful places to visit. We have a big property to enjoy and either a separate sleep-out or room in the house to stay in.

In exchange for your help we can offer you accommodation and three delicious and healthy meals per day, I am very interested in nutrition and can accommodate most diets. We love it when helpers can cook for us and help with dishes.
