We live on a sheep and beef farm 20 minute east of masterton. Life is super busy for us!
We have just moved into a new house so are needing help with different things on the farm and around the house.
We haven't had helpers in a while so look forward to meeting some.new people.

This is a lifestyle block on the outskirts of Masterton. It is very private and quiet despite its proximity to town. It is home to Angie and her two, elderly abyssinian cats. I often need general assistance around the place as the ravages of time have slowed me down somewhat and I feel a little unsafe up ladders and things these days.Very frustrating for someone who is used to doing most things! The inevitable weeding, pruning and limbing up of trees, splitting and stacking of firewood and the odd bit of house maintenance are the sorts of things I need help with. I'm currently trying to get on top of things to put the place on the market (sadly) Accommodation is a nice room with a queen sized bed and a separate bathroom. I do prefer couples as it makes it easier for sleeping arrangements - I don't have any single beds. Food is good (none of us are vegetarian!) and a sense of humour is compulsory!
My background is quite a mix - farming, horticulture, travel and animal nursing to me... more inside

We have a 880 Ha. sheep and beef farm on the South East coast of New Zealand overlooking the beautiful Castlepoint. Half of this property has been returned to forestry (mostly native) as a means of preserving the environment and mitigating against climate change. The farm has about 3km of coastal frontage and the house is only a 3 minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach that stretches all the way down to Castlepoint.

Work on the farm involves managing sheep and cattle, maintenance of fences and buildings, controlling weeds and planting new trees. Around the house is a beautiful garden (which has been allowed to become very overgrown by the previous owners) which we also want to restore.

We also plan in the future to establish ecotourism facilities such as walking tracks, mountain biking, function hosting and accommodation.

Private bedroom accommodation will be provided in one of the 2 houses on the farm. Helpers are expected to contribute to cooking and eat together with t... more inside

Greytown was awarded NZ most Beautiful Small town 2017. Our town is in the Wairarapa region - about 1.15 hours drive from Wellington

We are a couple in our late 40's that left the rat race in Auckland 8 years ago and decided to move to the country and change our lifestyle. We both have corporate jobs which involves traveling around the country.

Our property is a 3 acre lifestyle block located on Udy Street which is one of the prettiest streets in Greytown and a very popular walking route. There's a walking track at the end of our street that takes you through farmland and down to the river which is a great way to see some of the countryside. We have bikes available for you to use.

On our property we have 70 olive trees, 50 Fruit trees, a vegetable garden, a green house, lawns and flower beds

We have the following animals: 3 dogs, 2 cats, Sheep, 3 Alpacas, 2 Kunekune pigs, Chickens & Peking Ducks

We also have a cottage on the property which is rented out via airbnb

Small working sheep and beef farm however it depends on the time of year as to what any helpers would be asked to help with. It could simply be housework (washing windows, cooking etc), gardening (very large, very overgrown garden) or with general farm duties.
Own transport would be advantageous as we're out in the country and would prefer 3-5 day stay. Hours of work would be approx 4 per day.

Hi
Because life gets in the way we sometimes find we need a little help on our lifestyle block.
We would be looking for short term stays, people that would be able to help with chores around the paddocks eg weed control, moving cattle. It would be advantageous if they were able to help with gardening & general housekeeping duties.
As well as the two of us we have four cattle, a dog, a cat & 6 hens. The property is a contemporary home (with amazing views) and only 10 mins by car to the centre of Palmerston North.
A vehicle for personal use would be necessary.
Accommodation is provided within the house.
Please feel free to ask any questions.

This is a sheep and beef hill country farm. We are a family of four with 2 girls aged 8 and 9.

We are looking for someone or a couple to help with general farm work. At this time handyman skills would be particularly helpful for general farm maintenance. If a couple were interested there may be the some babysitting and gardening/house work as well.

Full board with meals included and use of a car.

We live on our coastal sheep station. River-mouth & sea on the doorstep. Good diving & fishing & mountain-biking. I also breed & show dogs & horses - so plenty of chores to do around them, as I work full time in Masterton during the day. Plus gardening & general house work/house maintenance as required. Dairy-free/Wheat-free & vegans not a problem.

No cellphone coverage and no internet at home. But I do travel in to Masterton every day and can pick people up from the bus or train, or bring you into town for the day with me.

Hi there! Thanks for checking us out.
The property, has 4 rescued, retired race horses.
I currently have an injury and I`m on crutches, so I need help with grooming, feeding out, cutting and spraying of weeds; re-sewing; harrowing or mucking out paddocks; property maintenance and maybe a wee bit of housework and gardening.
While not a necessity, an interest in horses would be really lovely.
You would not be staying on the property, but with me in my comfortable house, a few minutes drive away.
We are meat eaters but happy to accommodate vegetarians if you`re willing to pitch in with cooking/ideas, but not vegans, sorry.
We are non-smokers.
You would be asked to help out for 4 hours per day with one day off during the week (or 24 hours per week) and preferred stay would be 2 weeks; but this is negotiable beforehand.
Prefer a couple with their own transport; or over 25 with drivers licence.
We are not far from the capital (Wellington) and have the Tararua Ranges on our... more inside
