* We have enough helpers for December and January, thanks for your interest*
Welcome to Wanaka! Our friendly family has a home 7 minutes drive from Wanaka, in Albert Town. Albert Town is a mecca for river sports and biking in summer, and a great base for skiing and boarding in winter. We are a within walking distance of the Clutha and Cardrona Rivers and tracks.

We are landscaping our section and need help with general gardening, weeding, digging, planting etc. We are also slowly finishing off our home so there might be some handywork too. We have a busy family and welcome helpers who are good with kids and pets.

We have three young children, a mischevious young dog, and a brazen parrot. Accommodation is a double bedroom with ensuite - new and separate from the main house so you can retreat from the bustle of our family life when you need to.

It is not essential, but ideal for you to have a car as we are 7 minutes drive from Wanaka downtown. However, we are happ... more inside

We are in a family home that we have recently built in a semi rural area. We have three children - three at home and an energetic dog. We have plenty of odd jobs including landscaping and tidying up. Ideal for someone who is happy to do physical labour and self manage during the day.
We are happy to have someone now. It is better if you have your own car but not essential. We are 3km from a bus but near walk and bike tracks.
We have a large room with several beds, couch and a tv so that you can spend evenings alone if you would rather. This is ideal for a couple. Queenstown is a beautiful area to explore, walk, bike, ski, depending on the season.

Help wanted on a lifestyle farm block, 5 minutes drive from Oamaru, and the harbour area of the Victorian precinct & Steampunk. Walking or push biking distance to town. A rural setting with a few cattle, sheep and a couple of horses.
In exchange for being in a lovely semi rural coastal location, some assistance with fence & house maintenance painting, tree planting, landscape/gardening and a little general maintenance is requested. This would also include some mucking out of paddocks and lawn mowing when needed. There are two horses for those who are interested in horse riding and able to exercise them, but not a requirement. Being motivated and some practical outdoors and DIY skills would be essential and comfortable around farm animals.
3-4 hours work a day in exchange for accommodation and meals. Approximately 3 days up to a week but can be negotiated depending on the time of year. Although I enjoy the work on the rural property, an extra pair or two of hands would make it e... more inside

I live in beautiful Dunedin and I'm looking for a single person or couple for a week. I need help with gardening, firewood, and other household and backyard tasks. Dunedin is the wildlife capital of New Zealand, with tours available to view albatross, sea lions, seals and penguins. Dunedin also has excellent museums, art galleries and libraries. There's a bus stop close to my house, but I can collect you from the airport or bus station.

Looking for a helper from the 11th - 18th Dec!!! Great if you want to garden, build things, do odd jobs and/or sew.

This could potentially be a slightly unique experience. I am quite spiritual and have a vision for my home and the people in it. We all bring positive energy and a love for one another. We honour Mother Earth and what she provides, the food on our table and the deep connection we have to nature. We honour ourselves and what we need. This means clear and open communication (expressing needs rather than complaining and talking opening about an issue/speaking our truth), and for me honouring myself means meditating when I need clarity, releasing any angry emotions through sound if I need to in my room, clothing optional, taking time to myself when I need it. We honour each other by listening to one another and sharing deep conversations. When you arrive, I will 'smudge' you - waft the smoke of herbs around you body and facilitate a discussion around desires, fears and... more inside

We have space now until 21st Dec. Then from 16th January onwards. Gardening work and house cleaning mostly.

We have a new house on a 1 acre block 4km from centre of Wanaka. We are in the process of landscaping and creating a new garden. We are a family with teenage children and animals. 2 dogs 2cats and 2 horses (the horses live elsewhere usually but if you want to ride that may be possible if you can ride). We also foster stray cats and kittens before finding new homes for them, so don't be surprised if we have a few extras when you come. We would love help in the garden there is lots to do, but also would like help with cleaning and cooking and odd jobs. Our children are 14, 16 and 19 and like meeting people from around the world. We have a room available in the house, but not all the time so have helpx when it is available. Wifi, meals and accommodation is available for 4 hours work a day per person usually a cooked dinner with the family and help yourself breakfast and ... more inside

We are a family with 2 children (12 and 14 years) and live on a small farm on the Otago Peninsula. It is 15 mins drive to the centre of Dunedin, and on a convenient bus route. You can walk down to the local shops, gallery, beach, boat club etc and we have great harbour and rural outlook (while still being close to town).

We have a collection of pets (cats, dog) as well as sheep and alpaca on the property.

We both work as well as managing the activities on the farm and house/garden. We have a beautiful established garden, and would appreciate some help with gardening and other maintenance jobs around the house and property.

Accommodation would be a sleep-out right by the house or possibly a room inside the house. We are looking for some interesting company, and someone willing to help out for 4 hours/day in exchange for accommodation and meals. Our beautiful garden has become pretty overgrown, and we would love to have some help to make it lovely again!!

We are looking for some help in December for 4-5 days to tidy garden, clean windows, kitchen etc.

We require 4.5 hrs per day (happy to block it, work a full day then have all next day off if that suits you so you can do day trips). 3 meals provided, and we ask for your help preparing these.

Work involves gardening, weeding, cleaning, windows - just general home stuff.

We have 2 children (5 and 8) .

We love boating, biking, skiing and taking advantage of the amazing place we live in!

Look forward to hearing from you.
