We live just out of town, on a small farm, with 12 horses, 3 dogs, a cat and many chickens. We handle our horses using Natural Horsemanship principles.
We are constantly making improvements and repairs around the property, so there is always plenty of interesting work to do. We need help with mowing, gardening, feeding chickens and helping with the horses.
We are a drug free and cigarette free home, although we enjoy a wine with our meals occasionally. We can cope with almost any dietary or cultural preferences, singles or couples. We have hosted many international students and visitors over the past 20 years.
We live out of town and there is no public transport. We go into town 3-4 times a week, and we are partially self sufficient. We are happy to show you around our district and our multicultural town during your stay.

We are a mature couple working from home and are looking to find a young and enthusiastic young man who can help with general garden maintenance, eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc.
In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom in our lovely home and meals.( Free wi fi is also available.)
We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, but only 3km from the main highway and station.
It would be an advantage to have an international driver`s licence and a MUST to be a dog lover! (We have 2 !)
This would be an excellent opportunity for a traveller requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer.
We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only.
This position is available immediately, so please contact us if you feel it suits you.

NOT TAKING HELPERS AT THIS TIME
We are a busy family seeking female home help. By choosing us as hosts you would be partaking in the day to day of family life. We live in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne close to public transport and can also provide a bike. We are Christians, and there are 3 children 10 and under, which we are home educating. We have no pets at this time. We love the outdoors, reading together, and sharing meals with friends.

We would appreciate help for for a minimum of 2 weeks with the option of staying longer. Work will consist of general housework, cleaning and garden work and child minding as we have a busy 2 yr old. We would expect about 15-25 hours a week.

We can provide own room in our cosy 3 bedroom house with a shared bathroom and living spaces, unlimited internet use and all meals. Time off and work hours very flexible. Prefer non smoker.
We look forward to meeting you

We want to finish our front fence and redesign our aquaponics in the front yard. This is fairly straight forward work. I can build the stands so its mainly moving stones, some sanding and maybe some oiling. After this there are a host of fiddly things including finishing the kitchen - floor finishing, slab bench tops, under sink cabinets..., sorting the aquaponic systems in the back, getting better at making heat pellets, milling some timber at three or so sites, setting up the website for our bicycle hurse project, tidying the garden, organising some bees.... And the big project is working out what we want to build in the back yard and starting on the building approval process. So if you have some skills/experience on tools or building you would be much appreciated and this might be a chance to see some different building ideas.

You can see our website for more details or watch this video of us and our place - see below if you are a premier member. Basically we have a hou... more inside
