VACANCIES FOR 2020 - accepting helpers now if you have been in Australia for at least 2 months, either been through quarantine or been tested and all clear - sorry no new arrivals - looking forward to welcoming new friends.

Currently have space for seven people.

I am what some may term a "Trendy Nanna" - some people refer to me as "Nifty Nanna" - anyway I am a Nanna to many - both blood and "adopted" - I am now retired and live in my own home which is far to big for me alone so I have opened it up for share accommodation - mostly for students from all over the world - I have many "new children" and have been lucky enough to visit some of them in their homelands and even to attend a couple of their weddings - I have eight of my own children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren - both blood and adopted and they are scattered world wide - I am now on dialysis and attend the hospital for treatment 3 times a week. “Glendara” is 12kms south of Harrow, halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide and is situated on the Glenelg River with rolling hills, red gums and lots of birdlife and kangaroos.

We are sheep graziers with a little bit of cropping each year, mainly to renovate pasture. We also have a 2 bedroom cottage on our property that we run as a B&B.

Helpx workers with or without farming experience are very welcome at our property, as long as they come with a keen attitude and a willingness to try new things.

At present we are in the middle of sowing crops, as well as feeding sheep and general farm maintenance. There are always things helpx workers can assist with around the farm or in the garden or the house.

We love meeting people and have a big home that allows for helpers to have their own bedroom and bathroom. If you enjoy cooking we are happy for you to share some of your culinary skills!

Helpers do not need a driving licence but it's handy if you have one! (We can arra... more inside

We are now establishing the Soul Kindle Sanctuary. We recently moved to a beautiful property that needs gardens established, pens built, various renovations completed, animals to feed, love & care for and general ongoing maintenance.

As we are offering a safe retreat space for animals we choose to live a plant-based lifestyle.

We have a large Bedford bus which is very comfortable as a dwelling ( see pics) and the main community house for showers and cooking while you can make cuppas and stuff in the bus. There is a toilet just next to the bus also so you don't have to walk up the hill to the main house in the night;). The bush block is in Bailieston about 15k from Nagambie where we have a Hemp Wares shop called The Eco Hemp Shop. Nino my hubby is a musician and has a wee recording studio set up where he likes to retreat to at times (usually in the wee hours haha) and he is working on his next album at the mo. One of us is often at the shop tho but with help here Nino would l... more inside

Hi , I am Sandie, I have a sunny studio , which is in a shop on the outskirts of melb, near Warrandyte.
I am looking for a single female (only, not a couple) to help out with the cleaning and cooking for a 3-4 hours a day in exchange for food and lodgings.

I am looking for someone who is friendly, clean and tidy, non smoker, no drugs , who likes to cook healthy mostly vegetarian food, make cups of tea, bake the occasional cake. Who likes to tidy and keep a space clean. I also have a small garden that could do with some love. Your own warm comfy bedroom for you to stay in . I work as a psychotherapist, meditation and movement teacher. This said I am not working at the moment as I have just had a baby, my first child. I'm am flying solo as a single mum.

I am looking for help on a number of projects

My garden is an ongoing project, so it's a plus if you're happy to feed the chickens and get your hands dirty!
I am always open to help in the garden!!

SMALL ORGANIC PERMACULTURE FARM
General organic farm work and accommodation building project. We are located in the lushest greenest valley of Victoria - while the rest of Australia is on fire or in drought come to this patch of paradise!

1 month minimum stay is our preference

***We are currently seeking helpers with experiences in gardening and/or building. The tasks will be a mix of bed preparation, planting, propagating seeds, general maintenance like mowing and weeding, and care of our animals. A good level of fitness is required as the work can be physically demanding at times.

About us: This is a co-operative permaculture farm, and a community of 3 families who value and practice yoga, alternative therapies, conscious parenting, education, hand crafting and self sufficiency skills and technologies. We have an organic veggie growing CSA garden, an heirloom seedlings nursery, and an events space focusing on arts, crafts, permaculture education and wellbeing.
